They did such a great job on my cat! We've been to a lot of groomers over 16 years of this kitties life. Hard to find folks who are skilled enough to do a even shave and a lion cut, she nailed it. Was also super sweet and thorough upfront upon drop off with what we wanted. Thank you! read more

I can't say enough about this gem of a place. The Groomery is more than just a business; they treat you & your fur baby like family. The staff is always so accommodating when it comes to booking an appointment. It's not like other places where they tell you they're booked out for weeks. My big ole chocolate lab gets so excited every time we walk thru the door for him to have his paw spa day. They always great him with smiles and warmth which couldn't be more comforting as a dog momma. They are great about communicating an estimated time of when it's time for pick up. And considering this economy, their pricing is fantastic and the quality is consistent. Highly recommend The Groomery! read more

Got my dog Mochi groomed here! I have been looking for a good groomer for my anxious dog. I have been to a few since we moved last year and haven't been happy. Mochi is a golden retriever that can be a bit snippy with her feet (hates when people mess with them) so I brought a muzzle for them to use. When I picked her up she looked AMAZING. They even said they didn't even need to use the muzzle!!! As long as we live here, we will be bringing Mochi to The Groomery. read more

My giant Saint Bernard Sèamus is a handful to groom, as he is blind and autistic, and hadn't been in for way too long. Shawn did such a great job of cleaning up his mats and knots, and had such patience with him that he came out all clean, proud, happy and looking like a new dog! The Groomery is the best place around and so reasonably priced! I highly recommend them. read more

i love The Groomery, they are AMAZING!! i tried to take my little puppy to a groomer she had been to once before, and long story short, they were way overbooked and was only going to give her a bath. i knew she needed a haircut really badly, so after calling a bunch of local groomers i found this one. they took my puppy in right away, they were so gentle and patient with her, and did such an amazing job (and not for a bad price either). not only were they great but they are family owned. 10/10 recommend you all check out this local business for your pups!!! My dog freaks anytime he gets his nails trimmed. Found this place by accident really and decided to give them a try. I have always given the warning that he doesn't do well (not aggressive, just whines and cries while trying to escape) and he was perfect for them. Or rather, they were perfect with him!! Went back for a second visit and they were once again great with him! Love that they take their time and ease his anxiety. read more

Sookie started the Honor Roll Program the following week. Throughout her training, her trainer Erin kept me consistently updated on Sookie's progress. Toward the end of the two weeks, Erin recommended keeping Sookie a little longer because she needed some extra help -- and I truly appreciated that honesty and care. If Epic Dog Academy didn't genuinely care, they could have easily sent her home, especially with the holidays coming up, but instead they did what was best for Sookie. I picked Sookie up about a week ago and, to be honest, I was nervous about bringing her home. Erin scheduled our in-home training session just three days after pickup, and even checked in with us after Sookie's first day home to see how we were doing. While Sookie had a solid grasp of her commands, we struggled with crate training at first. During our in-home session, Erin helped us work through those issues, and since then, crating has been easy and stress-free. Epic Dog Academy -- and especially Erin -- did an amazing job with Sookie. They've given her confidence, and she no longer panics when I leave. The attentiveness, support, and care they've shown toward both Sookie and me has meant so much. Don't Believe the False Facebook Posts - Epic Dog Academy Is the Real Deal…read more I need to share my experience because there's a lot of misinformation going around about Epic Dog Academy. If you've seen those Facebook posts linking them to animal abuse - please, don't believe them. I fell for those rumors myself at first, and I want to make sure no one else makes the same mistake. I had signed my dog, Obi-Wan, up for the two-week training program and was so excited. But right after I told a friend, she sent me a Facebook group filled with terrible claims about EDA. I panicked and immediately called to cancel. Vincent, the owner, was incredibly understanding and patient. He explained that all those claims were false and even showed me proof - including records exposing the people behind the posts as having serious legal and credibility issues, but even though I already paid and signed all the paperwork - he still immediately refunded me my payment to give me time to do additional research. This is something he could have pushed back on but didn't, which really showed me what a kind and understanding business this was. Even so, I made sure to do my own research before forming any opinions. What I found was truly alarming: the main individual behind that Facebook group has a documented history of serious issues, including animal cruelty charges (all public record). His daughter once briefly worked with Vince - the owner of Epic Dog Academy - many years ago at a completely separate business. Shortly after, Vince left to establish Epic Dog Academy with his wife, Olivia. To be clear, the two individuals who now run that Facebook group have no real connection to Epic Dog Academy. The false claims they're spreading about the owner are completely unfounded and unsupported by any evidence, plus most of the negative comments appear to come from people associated with them. Once I realized the truth, I re-enrolled Obi-Wan - this time in their day training program. I drop him off in the morning and pick him up in the afternoon. It gave me total peace of mind to see him daily, and I can confidently say that not only is he perfectly fine - he's thriving. The results have been beyond my expectations. Obi-Wan listens better than ever, he's happier, and he actually gets excited to go every morning. Erin, his trainer, is absolutely phenomenal. She's patient, knowledgeable, and keeps me updated every day with photos and progress reports through their app. Christy at the front desk is another gem - her warmth and understanding make every drop-off and pick-up a breeze. Every single person I've interacted with at Epic Dog Academy truly loves what they do, and it shows. They treat every dog like their own. I can say with complete confidence that my dog is safe, happy, and receiving the best possible training here. Please do yourself a favor - don't let false online rumors stop you from giving EDA a chance. Check things out for yourself. I'm so glad I did, because Epic Dog Academy has completely transformed my dog's behavior and confidence. It's been worth every single penny (and I signed up for the Honor program!) I have given EDA permission to share my number with anyone who is hesitant to sign up. On my second visit, I came in alone and Josh helped me create a complete checklist of everything needed for a proper gecko environment. By our third visit, when we were ready to bring our gecko home, Josh helped us choose the right one, reviewed the entire setup checklist again and went over feeding schedules, vitamins, tank cleaning, and the animal health guarantee. Overall, the experience was informative, welcoming, and stress free. You can tell Josh truly cares about the animals and his customers. Highly recommend 10/10!

We…read morereached out to another boarding facility, but Great Oak Kennels was the only one that allowed us to submit an application without a meet-and-greet. It was a huge blessing, considering we wouldn't be able to drive down for one before our wedding. In general, we were reluctant to leave our two pups, Milo and Enzo, at a boarding facility for the first time because we have never left them in another person's care who wasn't a relative. But we are so glad we did and that we had a wonderful experience! Naomi took great care of them for 4 days. She was very responsive, professional, understanding, and most importantly, kind. She gave them all the attention, love and care they seek and need. We were impressed with her clean facility and were relieved that she was able to separate the two dogs during meal time as requested. She was easy to work with when it came to the dogs' specific schedule and instructions, and she was very open and flexible to our needs when it came to pick-up and drop-off. We trusted her so much that we even extended their stay by one day! She was fantastic and we are so glad we know who to go to again for future dog boarding needs.

Thankfully, we found Great Oak kennels and it has absolutely been a godsend! Naomi treats our baby, Bella Catherine, like a member of her own family. She doesn't have a problem that Bella has to have medications and her food softened and made a special way. Whatever Bella needs to keep her healthy and safe, while we're traveling is what Naomi and her staff do. And we are truly thankful for Naomi and all of the staff at Great Oak kennels!

After bringing our dog to Dogtopia, we noticed several negative changes in both her physical…read morecondition and behavior that gave us serious concerns about the level of care being provided. Each time she returned home, she had unnecessary cuts on her nose and ears. We were told the injuries happened because she rubs her nose in the crate and plays rough, but she is already crate trained and has never experienced these kinds of issues elsewhere. Even more concerning were the behavioral changes. She started developing bad habits, including jumping up on people and playing much rougher than we allow at home. A few times, she also became noticeably timid, which is completely unlike her normal personality. She even began having difficulty pooping, dragging her but across the pavement and our floor at home, something she had never had issues with before attending. Her behavior and overall condition changed negatively after going here, and that was very concerning for us to see. Because of these repeated issues, we decided not to move forward with the monthly plan we had signed up past week, which was supposed to begin on June 1st. However, despite the membership not even starting yet, we were told by Amber we would still be charged the full amount. I understand a 30-day notice policy for an active membership, but charging customers before services have even begun feels unreasonable and unfair. Hopefully Amber will be able to work it out. We gave this place two chances hoping things would improve, but unfortunately that was not the case. We trusted them with our dog and expected a safe, professional environment, but did not workout for the best. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

The prices they charge our reasonable. Though I didn't get to see the back of the house, the front of the house and the bakery was spotless. They sent pictures to show our pup having a blast and they were quick to respond to any text. Thank you for taking care of our Belle!

I brought my retired PTSD service dog in who had been neglected while i had to move out of state... he was matted and i couldnt afford to get him groomed for months. I called the Groomery and they were understanding and willing to help me for the health of my dog Patrick... my fiance picked him up and started crying out of pure thankful and gratefulness of these amazing souls that work here and helped my boy.. i will be forever grateful and will always choose the groomery over anywhere else. Such a wonderful experience! Other groomers said my dog was too anxious. However, our experience here was amazing. They made her feel safe and she wasn't anxious and my dog looked great after as well. Loved the photos they took of her too! Above and beyond. Best grooming experience I have had. read more
