First time taking my dogs here. They smelled great and very happy with the staff. Will be back!

Lee was fantastic! very caring, even putting cotton balls in Willy's (Maltipoo) ears because he doesn't like the hair dryet. Professional and will definitely ask for Lee again. read more

Been going to this groomer for years. My regular groomer is out on maternity leave ( an out standing groomer) This business has been sold several times and this owner is the worst! Had a new groomer . Asked her if she could do this special cut ( bichon) even showed a picture... The cut was pretty poor and the groomer told me my dogs ears are really red cause she plucked the ear hair out! I did not ask her to go that! My dog was up all night and both ears began to bleed inside. Had to take her to the vet the next day . Had her ears flushed and packed. 225.00!! Husband went to the groomer and they told us twice the owner would call... nothing! They don't care! So disappointed! Use to be a really good grooming spot. Beware ... they just don't care! . read more

Brought my puppies for a bath and everyone was so kind. Faith was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The whole staff was just so sweet and helpful with Athena and Spanky. Spanky doesn't look too happy in the photo but he was just fine and they both smelled amazing like blueberries hahaha thanks Grubby Dogs! We will be back. God bless you all. read more

Have been bringing my dog for a while now for haircuts and it was good. The last 3 x have been very inconsistent. It seems like they've had a lot of turn around. This was the last time unfortunately. I noticed my dog very uncomfortable and sitting and hiding a lot the following day. Upon further checking he has what looks like a clipper burn on his belly. Very disappointing read more

Jamie the groomer was new to me, so I was a little nervous for a new groomer to give my dog Ruby a Teddy Bear cut. But Jammie came thru with flying colors. Thank you Jamie. Ruby and I will see you again in 5 weeks. Nancy O'K read more

We were very impressed by Grubby Dogs. We rescued a pup from the shelter yesterday and they were willing to squeeze him in the same day. It look like the pup had been on the streets for months and boy did he smell. We'd never been here before and were calling around for an appointment. The groomer was great with him, it took her 2 baths and a hair cut to groom him. He came out looking and smelling so much better. This will be our go to groomer for all his future grooming needs. Thank You Grubby Dogs. read more

I scheduled a grooming appointment well in advance and clearly communicated my drop-off and pick-up timing. When I arrived, I was told the information I had been given earlier was "incorrect," and that the staff would be leaving early due to other commitments, even though their website indicates they are open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Instead of offering a solution, I was told I could cancel the appointment and take my dog or pay extra for someone to bring my dog to me, which felt inappropriate given the circumstances. There was no effort made to honor the appointment as scheduled or to accommodate the situation. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience, and I won't be returning read more

In and out for nail trim. Super easy. Will definitely be back. Customer service was great.

First let me say we have been coming here for a couple of years and we are very pleased the care we get for our little dog. The staff are wonderful especially Mattie. However, it saddens me you felt you had to raise your prices , $75 dollars for a 10 pound dog, makes feel like I am been gouge add tip and that is real close to $100dollars out of pocket. read more

I have gone to Grubby Dog since 2003 and will never go again. Groomed so badly. And cost so much. I feel so bad for him looking this rough. Should not get any stars. read more

Update; Been back a few times since my last review and still love this place! I usually get my pomsky's haircut short (I know it's bad but her fur grows back just fine and she loves being cooler in the hotter months) but I love how everytime the groomers do give a warning. They really care about the quality of their work and love each dog as their own. Stella (the chubby pomsky pictured) loves coming here as well and is so happy to greet everyone when we walk in! read more

This place used to be good for years and then new management seems to have taken a good thing and ruined it. My Mother was in a car accident on the way to the groomer with the dog in the car. They called my Mom harassed and yelled at her until she was in tears about payment even after learning she was in a serious car accident on the way there (just 1 block away from Grubby Dogs) which totaled the car and she had sustained injuries . Never once asked about if our dog was ok or even alive. Just continued to threaten with collections. The lack of understanding and empathy is bad for any business and shows they don't care about their customers only the money. No long term relationship thinking. I will never take our dog here again knowing they didn't even care to ask if he was ok. read more

We were using Grubby Dogs for years because of Sara, our dog's favorite Groomer there. Last time we brought Joey in, things had changed and not for the better. The lady behind the counter came up, scooped our dog up and put him on a scale. I turned around and said " why are you doing that?"And she responded. "you pay by weight". I am not buying tomatoes. Joe is a mini Aussie and the price has always been the same. I think any changes in policy and especially in price should be told to the client who has an appointment before hand. I felt that this owner was rude and started looking for a new groomer. I was very sad to leave Sara, but I found her!! She is at FeFe's pet salon just down the street in the shopping center at Murrieta, Hot Springs and Margarita. I'm so relieved to have been able to get Joe back to Sara who he loves and who we trust! read more

This store is under new ownership. I've been going to it for a long time several years and my dog is always looks amazing when she leaves however, today when I picked her up the price increased and when I ask about it, they said that it will continue to go up and until they reach the point that they have for her weight. The new groomer she has has been very sweet and she's really fast and good but the whole vibe of the store is not something I think I'm gonna stay with. There's been no notice about price increases however, this is the second month that I have gone since they purchased the store and still no notice read more

Karime is fantastic, very fair prices. My dog looks fabulous all times I have been there...on time..staff is great..ty

I have been coming here for years but looks like new ownership changed things. Prices are so high it's ridiculous and now they wanted re weigh my dog because of course that's how they charge even more now. She was 102 which makes her giant the biggest breed by 2 pounds so they can increase it even more! She is old and barely will go on long walks now. Every single thing is an add on. I'll be finding somewhere else from now on. $95 for a bath is just crazy!! read more

Everytime we pick up my huskey he's happy and clean. They gift him a cute doggy bandanna everytime he leaves.

Been going here for 8 years and loved everything! Over the past 6 months or so we have had two visits that did not go well. The first visit they cut one od my dogs with clippers in his "armpit" area and took him to the vet next door to get treated with skin glue. I'm glad they took him to be evaluated, but during that time I never received a call to notify me of what happened. I would absolutely have been ok with ny dog being seen, but it would have been nice to know before picking him up that he got injured. We tried to give a second chance because we loved them so much in the past. This time we got the text that the dogs were ready. I get there and only one was finished. I was not told this until after I paid. They said my other dog "messed herself" so they needed to "rewash" her back end. I brought my other dog home and went back again. When they called to tell me she was almost ready, I was told they were doing her nails and would be done in 10 minutes. Why were they doing her nails if this was just a rehash? Or did they forget about her and when they realized told me she "messed" herself. A rewash shouldn't require nails, they should have been done. Overall, they've gone down hill a lot. I honestly don't trust them with my dogs anymore and that's the reason for the one star. read more
