This groomer is straight-up an ARTIST. She didn't just groom him--she transformed him into the most handsome golden ever (in my biased opinion!!) all while keeping him calm and happy (no small feat, since he's usually a nervous wreck at these places). But here's what really sets her apart: you can tell she genuinely LOVES animals. She handled Duke like he was her own, with endless patience and care. Bonus points--she's got some cool exotics in her backyard, which says everything about the kind of person she is. This is the rare groomer you can drop your pet off with and actually relax, knowing they're in the best hands. Truly how she made Duke look isn't easy. Professional, kind, easy to work with, spectacular service--she checks every single box and then some. She clearly loves what she does, and it shows. On top of all that, she could easily charge double (especially for my Duke) but instead, she keeps it super reasonable. I'm beyond grateful to have found her. I figured I'd give this place a try. The grooming process seemed reasonable too. It took about 2 hours and my fur baby was all done. They were quick really. Haircut came out cute! They gave her a pin and bandanna. I'm happy with the results of this groomer. I see why they have good reviews. My Pomeranian looks good and she smelled super nice afterwards too! They are always helpful, prompt, kind, compassionate and loving to not only my fur baby but also towards me and my children when we come in. We genuinely love Jamie and the heart the staff has for these babies. It is a really scary world seeing the grooming horror stories but I know my babies are always well taken care of here. I foster a lot of abused and neglected animals and I often take them to DS to get spa treatments so they can feel like the best version of themselves and some are not easy to work with. They go above and beyond to ensure those babies are loved and looked after while in their care which means the world to fosters like myself. Her and her team had built a bond with my dog and treated him so well. I know they loved him and he loved going to see them, so this meant a lot to me while I was grieving. I recently brought in a new puppy and Sonja took the time to get on the floor so my dog could meet her and get comfortable with her. The rest of her team also took the time to get to know my Max to make him feel comfortable with being at a groomer for the first time. When I picked up Max he was happy to see me, but even gave Sonja a kiss when she said good-bye. This melted my heart because I knew he felt safe and loved there. I used to have issues with other local grooming salons not wanting to service my dog because she would nip them when they got close to her tail area.
