    Denver with Cheese Omelette
    Igor Z.

Decided to try this spot based on overall reviews on Yelp. When we got there they were fairly busy and had people waiting to get seated. We were offered to sit at the bar or to wait for a table to open up, we went with the bar option. The restaurant itself is very spacious inside and they also offer patio seating as well. Our server was very friendly and welcoming. She provided the menus and got our drink orders right away. We were in the mood for some omelettes and decided to go with those. We got a Meat Lovers Omelette and Denver with Cheese. We got Ana few different toast and side options as well. When the omelettes were brought out, the only way we could tell them apart because we each got a different side, if it wasn't for that, there's no difference between the two. I'm not sure if they are all like that or just these two. Both omelettes were cooked OK, they needed salt as they were pretty bland. The meat lovers had some chorizo which added a little bit of taste, otherwise they were not that good and tasted identical. Based on the reviews, I figured it would've been a better experience, but thus time they were not impressive.

A spot I've passed by hundred of times and finally stopped in to try! It was busy on a Saturday morning, but we were able to be seated promptly outside on the patio. The service was exceptional, all the staff we encountered were so friendly and warm. My husband ordered the birria breakfast burrito and the birria was so tender and full of flavor. I opted for the healthy breakfast and subbed scrambled eggs and added a Cajun season chicken breast. Great portion sizes for the price point, and so many menu options that sounded delicious. We will be back to try more.

Wildberries was great! We jumped into our food so quick I forgot to take photos haha There is a ton of breakfast and lunch options to accommodate all guests. The staff were very friendly and attentive as well! We arrived at 11 and it was fairly busy so could have a short wait at times!

I've been wanting to check this place out and I'm so glad I did! The service is quick and attentive. I came in around 1pm for brunch and had crunchy French toast with some eggs & sausage. So good. Cute lil diner. Will be back :)

Our first, but not last time here. The server was very friendly and the food was delivered fast. The cinnamon roll was huge. I had the chili burger and couldn't eat it all. The chili had a nice flavor to it. My husband really enjoyed the clam chowder soup of the day along with the Florentine Benedict. He said the eggs were perfectly prepared and the hollandaise sauce was very tasty. The music was just loud enough to hear, but wasn't too loud to prevent us from hearing each other without having to talk too loud. Sorry forgot to take pictures of the food, we were hungry and dove right in.

Lemon stuffed French toast with a fresh blackberry drizzle

My family. and I absolutely loved this spot. we came here straight from the Phoenix airport. I'm so glad the hubby had found this spot. There were a ton of people waiting to be seated here but somehow we were lucky enough to have waited maybe a mere 5 minutes for a nice lil shaded table in the outside patio. We were first time visitors here so actually we were in the best possible spot. we saw so many dishes go by us and we were able to admire other regulars as they ordered their meals. it was so much fun. one thing that I have to say is that I love that this is a family run and owned spot. `The food was not only phenomenal but the staff were so sweet and so understanding. we did wait a while for our food but when it arrived we happily gobbled it up in no time. there were a few mistakes made but we weren't upset at all. they were all rectified and without any harm or damage to us. I had their stuffed French toast, the one with the blackberry drizzle. I was in heaven. for whatever reason I was on a French toast kick during this visit to AZ and I can honestly say that this has to be one of my fave's. it was so terribly delicious. I was ad when I took that last amazing melt in your mouth bite that left me wanting for much more than just another nibble. their sausages that are made in house are so amazing. they taste fresh. I don't know how else to explain it but to say that they have a fresh taste, nothing processed and nothing that seems so mundane like any other breakfast sausage. this one was indeed special. you could seriously taste the love and care that they put into making their food. one of the folks in our dining group was having a bit of a low blood sugar issue. our server got on it right away and brought a few things to try and help the situation. it worked, luckily, like a charm and well, of course. our food all came out right after. their prices are more than reasonable. I liked sharing my meal with my lil kiddo because she had some of my French toast and I had some of her eggs and delectable sausage. it was a most wonderful meal to start the day after our 1hr and 20 min flight that was shorter than the voyage to the rental car pick up area. LOL. this was a great first stop! thank you for such a wonderful meal. I have more photos to post. I need to get on that. LOL. sorry...I was too busy eating!

    Blueberry lemon French toast

The staff was friendly and service was quick. The gravy was the right combo of creamy w a hint of spice from the sausage. The biscuit was light and airy w a bit of crumble. The French toast was tender and the lemon filling was tasty but I was expecting a bit more tart . It was very light and airy though . They give you butter and syrup but it's really not needed the blueberry sauce is just enough hint of sweet for me. The hollandaise was light but not sure if homemade , was a good simple flavor , I asked for it on the side so I could choose my own . The poached egg was done just right and the crab back was more like a hash down tater tot consistency. Not a bad taste but not my expectation for a crab cake . Overall I'd return again , was a hard choice for all the options

Aunt Sara's Omelette, Meat Lovers Omelette, bacon side, sourdough and wheat toast, hash-browns and a short stack of pancakes.

I am always looking for a good breakfast location. Coffee, service, ambiance, food are all important. The location was very good, we ate outside on a beautiful Sunday morning. I love to look at fellow diners and see how they react to their choices. Everyone seemed very happy. We had great service and when the food came we could see why everyone was so pleased. It didn't take long to arrive after order and it was so good. From cakes to omelette, very well done. I noticed the table next to me raving over their biscuits and gravy while we ate. My only regret was that I wish I could have had more coffee choices. My son wanted latte, I could have done a strong dark roast myself. That said, I will come back again.

This cute breakfast restaurant is a place you do not want to miss out on!! This place is cozy and the service was quick. I was greeted immediately and taken care of well. I ordered coffee and water and it was delivered promptly. There were choices between breakfast and lunch, I chose the breakfast option!! I had their waffle with berries & cream with a side of hashbrowns and eggs. Everything was perfectly made and absolutely delicious!! I will definitely be back!!

When having a staycation for 4th of July, my boyfriend and I checked out this location for breakfast. Definitely a small town, patriotic diner feel to it. The service was friendly and the food was good, but nothing truly stood out to us. It could be what we ordered, but I'd definitely return and try something else if in the area again.

This was an awesome find! Craving a good breakfast, this is your spot! Really nice clean establishment. Highly appreciate that!!quick service and friendly staff. I ordered the avocado toast and added the sausage patties. Such a good choice and very satisfying. The sausage was really good. Don't miss out on those. My friend ordered the lemon filled French toast and that was amazing as well. The lemon cream is such a good touch. No syrup needed on that one.

First time trying out Wildberries it was a little out of my distance for a breakfast/brunch place but overall the portions and the food were really great. They offer a lot of different selections of breakfast and brunch food. They all sounded really good. I ended up getting their cowboy and bacon meal deal with a side of a waffle. the waffle was cooked to perfection and the eggs and the hash brown just needed a teeny bit of more seasoning but they do offer pepper and salt at the table and hot sauce. The bacon was the star of the show. It was really good. Thick cut bacon 10 out of 10. The service was great. Everybody is really friendly and the restaurant looks really kept up with their cleanliness.

ROTTEN BERRIES The wait staff shirts said "Ripe with Attitude" and they weren't kidding. The ATTITUDE was a little too ripe, it was more like ROTTEN. We came in the early morning, mid-week and it was pretty empty inside, and as one would expect, there were only a couple tables occupied. As an avid reviewer, I am usually taking pictures to post and bolster the business if possible. So no different from any other restaurant stop, I started taking pictures from the time I walked into Wildberries. Being that it was not busy, I was seated fairly quickly by our waitress (Lori) and being that there were not many customers inside, I saw an opportunity to get pictures of the interior without patrons photobombing. So I started snapping pics with my phone. Lori must have mentioned something to her colleague in the back, because, moments later, another lady (Jenna) came by and all in one motion, abruptly dropped off water to our table and muttered rudely "You can't take pictures in here", as she trailed off, not even making eye contact, and swiftly scooted away without stopping. I was totally taken aback; left a little reeled and bewildered why she said that, wondering what I did wrong. I glanced at the direction of the kitchen and through the window opening to the kitchen, I see Jenna mean-mugging me with a sour-faced look and having a conversation with Lori. Then at that point I just became put-off and irritated. Then Lori came over to take our order. Reluctantly I put in my order. Disgruntled, I said to Lori, "I don't appreciate the way that other lady was speaking to me" Lori replied, "She thought you were from across the street. From the Restaurant Depot (restaurant supply store in the adjacent building). " I refuted, "Why would she think that?" Lori, " Oh. Because of what you were wearing. We thought you worked there" Mind you, I was just wearing a T-shirt (with another business on it), shorts and a hat. Then I thought to myself, "What does the Restaurant Depot have anything to do with me taking pictures" and I was more even more confused. If they are using mistaken identity for an excuse for why they treated me with such disrespect, that's pathetic. I lost my appetite by that time. I hadn't even eaten by then but this exchange left a bad taste in my mouth. By the way, Jenna never came over to give an apology Turns out, Jenna is the assistant manager, which is more shameful. That being said, they can't control what pictures I now post. *********************************** NOW FOR A WILD, BUT BERRY HONEST REVIEW OF THE FOOD CRUNCHY FRENCH TOAST. First impression: Was it stepped on? It tasted like French Toast from France! (As in, mailed from France in a bubble mailer envelope and took 7 business days to be delivered on a plate. But it in all seriousness, it seriously had no business being on the menu. Underwhelming is an understatement. CHICKEN FRIED STEAK was a Chicken Fried MISTAKE. It tasted like cafeteria food. It must have been a premade patty that was heated up, along with the gravy that tasted like it was from a can. The HASH BROWNS were BURNT. The easiest food to cook and they managed to burn it. Apparently, the only side they served well was SIDE EYE. The food is BERRY AVERAGE. Nothing memorable or worth going back for. If you thought Denny's became notorious for being basic and average, Wildberries said, "Not so fast! There's room for 2 in this town for boring food. Guy Fierri would pass this place on the way to Flavor-Town. The owner was thinking, "I bet we can make a great breakfast spot that will rival IHOPs. Gordon Ramsey would have a field day here, "I see your Tired Food, and raise you, Sour Attitude." I can't believe I paid more than $20 for this food, which is a step up from a microwave frozen dinner. Because all it was, was premade food that was heated / burned. You're just as well better off going to Waffle House and a Cracker's & Co. nearby. Hell, there's a Jack in the Box down the street!

I was super stoked to check a place with "retro" in the name out, and I gotta be honest here, I left with pretty mixed emotions about a lot of things. The restaurant itself is pretty boring inside, mostly just being black with a few small pictures hanging up. I was kind of expecting big retro movie posters or something hanging around, but I definitely didn't get much of a retro vibe from this place minus a small neon "bar" sign and a claw machine in the corner. The menus were very cool, right by the front door its a record shelf and the records were the menus, so thumbs up for that idea. I thought i was mistaken, but I don't remember seeing sandwich prices on the actual menu, but as I look at other photos on yelp it does appear that the sandwiches don't have prices attached to them, which explains why I was thrown off by the end price. I settled on ordering the "take on me" which was black forest ham, roasted turkey, hickory smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and mayo on a Hawaiian style roll. I also ordered a sprite and a chocolate chip cookie as a side. The chocolate chip cookie was okay, pretty standard cookie though definitely not worth $3.75. The sprite was $2.99, and the sandwich came to $15.58. I was also charged $0.96 for something called the advantage program which I have no idea what that is. I gotta say, spending over $25 on a sandwich, a small cookie, and a drink is not something I would care to do at a place like this. The sandwich itself was very good, I won't deny that. The meat tasted fresh, and when it was all together it was definitely a good sandwich, but when there's not combo option and a basic sandwich, cookie, and drink ends up being $25 it's gonna be a no from me on returning in the future. Overall, I really wanted to love this place for the name, but the lack of much decorations and prices left something to be desired. The food itself was good, but not worth what was spent.

Owner is super nice and the sandwiches are definitely a hit! Number 1 on the charts!…read more My husband ordered the Take On Me and I ordered The Boss. Soooo good!

I've been here once so far and honestly, I'm not just a fan. I'm an air conditioner! I'll admit that on that Saturday that I came across Don Guerra, I had originally went to another bagel shop that was sold out of bagels two hours before closing. I was disappointed as that place wasn't nearby. But this place, Don Guerra Bagel & Slice, is so close to home that I'm embarrassed to admit I should have came here sooner. - Slice Potato & Onion Pizza Combo ($11.00 - Olive oil, sea salt, mozzarella and parmesan cheese, red onion, potato, rosemary, honey drizzle. Option of salad, chips, or wheatberry salad): We got this with the wheatberry salad and a 20 oz cold brew to wash it down with. As someone who loves a good potato pizza, this one right here... oh my gosh. It even beats another place's potato pizza from a local cidery that I truly love. Get this. GET IT. - Jalapeño bagel with lox cream cheese ($6.00 - 85% whole grain sonoran wheat flour, sourdough leavened and no added sugars or oils): I heard the lox cream cheese was really good with the rosemary and salt bagel by one of the staff members but I couldn't pass up a good jalapeño bagel. And honestly, this bagel was perfection. Had I been in a skirt, it would have flipped over how good it was. - 6 Pack of Jalapeño Bagels ($18.50 - 85% whole grain sonoran wheat flour, sourdough leavened and no added sugars or oils): The bagel I got was so good, I had to order more for the week. I enjoyed the heck out of these for the next few days. - Chiltepin Cream Cheese ($6.50): As soon as I saw "chiltepin," I was sold. A Chiltepin or Bird Pepper, is a wild, hot pepper native to the Americas, often considered the ancestor of cultivated peppers. It's a perennial shrub with small, white flowers and tiny, red, very spicy berries that are dispersed by birds, and it thrives in warm, sunny conditions with well-draining soil. My grandma and parents use to grow them and I didn't realize how good I had it until I tried looking for my own chiltepin plant to grow. I can't find any so I guess I'll just have to come here for some cream cheese. - Chocolate Cherry Loaf ($12.00 - Only sold on Saturday and Sunday): Yum yum YUM!!! My partner and I got a few different breads to try out: half a dozen bagels, two different sandwiches on different breads, and their bread samples they had out. I was incredibly impressed with the bread quality overall. I can see why many of the customers before us only came in to buy loaves of bread for the week. As for the bagels, I'm incredibly picky coming from the northeast. The everything bagel is pretty sparse with toppings and what toppings it did have was mostly just poppy seeds. There was such a teeny tiny amount of garlic and onion! The actual quality of the bagel was good, but I'm a little sad about the topping situation. Not only that, there was a very hard pebble or grain bit (?) in my bagel. I'm not sure if it was in the bagel itself or somehow mixed into the topping, but it did not seem edible as it couldn't break down at all. I hope this was just a one time mistake! As for the sandwiches, the breakfast panini's best part was actually their focaccia. The rest of the sandwich components were okay. The beef slider is much smaller than the focaccia slices, the steamed egg easily falls out, and the chipotle aioli gets lost amongst the other components. I probably wouldn't get the panini again, but would happily buy the focaccia only. The Italian sandwich was a bit better. We got it on the torta roll, which was also very good. It's hard to go wrong with a classic italian sandwich. It does get a bit salty with all of the components combined, but could be offset with the combo with a drink. The samples they had out the day we visited were of two different sourdough breads. This was some good sourdough! It was very pleasantly tangy, but not too much. There was also a very good crumb and crust. The building is designed to be more of a fast casual and pickup kind of spot. There's shaded seating outdoors where you can also wait while your order is getting ready. They also offer online ordering and drive thru pickup. Although I wasn't as wowed by their bagels and breakfast offerings, the actual quality of their bread was so good that I would solely recommend their breads alone.
