I continue to be pleasantly surprised by Wild Eggs. I was invited to its soft opening, and passed up the invitation. I moved within walking distance of the Delaware Street location, and still passed it up to go to places like Patachou instead. Finally, I tried Wild Eggs one morning and OH GOD I'm so glad I did. The wait is never very long and the tables turn over quickly. The longest I've waited on a busy Sunday morning was 15 minutes. On my first visit, I was quick to write it off as just a chain restaurant. I thought it looked too basic and cookie-cutter, but when I got my food, I was so surprised to find that it tasted thoughtful, original and well-crafted! I'm a vegetarian, and every veg option on the menu is incredible. They're also willing to make small modifications like leaving the meat off of a dish, or subbing in extra veg for me. The homemade buttermilk biscuits are the best biscuits I've had anywhere. The breakfast burrito is one of my favorites if I'm ravenous (or hungover). The Surfer Girl omelette is my favorite if I'm not quite as hungry, or if I'm just in the mood for something lighter. The coffee is good. The service is good. The staff is diverse and friendly. I have yet to have a bad experience. And my favorite part? The prices are so reasonable! Since discovering this place, it's really the only place I want to go for breakfast and brunch anymore! read more

On our last day in Indianapolis we decided to try Wild Eggs. I wish we had found it sooner! It was about a half mile walk from our hotel and pretty easy to find. My husband and I both ordered OJ. Best OJ ever! It's pricey at $6 for a large glass, but it's freshly squeezed and delicious. I had the Wild Western omelette with grits of the day. Holy cow! The grits had bacon, jalapeño, and havarti. Soooo good. The omelette and skillet potatoes were good, but those grits were the star. Big portions...I could only eat half of the omelette and a few potatoes. The hubs ordered a breakfast burrito with grits on the side. He said it was incredible. Lots of avocado and queso fundido. Check it out if you're in Indy! read more

They have a lot of variety in their breakfast menu. Ordered their Mad Platter and it was very delicious. Best bacon I have tasted in any breakfast restaurant EVER. I also got their strawberry lemonade with my breakfast and it was absolutely amazing. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Great food. Excellent customer service. If I'm ever in the area again, this will be my go to breakfast spot. I would recommend 100%. read more

Sub par food and service. 7:15 am on a Saturday - entered into the dinning room void of staff - 1 customer - several minutes later seated by a unpleasant floor supervisor - server was pleasant but incompetent - drinks are delivered to the table by the floor supervisor, When it's noted that the drinks not what was ordered , She states begrudgingly she can take them back - food arrives 30 minutes later, at which time we note to the manager that the order is incomplete - food was not the quality we had expected from reviews we had read. read more

Absolutely great service and a delicious menu. The Mr. Potato Head Casserole is dynamite. My family comes here about once a month for brunch and it's been a great experience everytime. Only things that aren't great is parking (it's downtown) and the waits can be long. read more

Food was great. Service and waiter, Jacob, stellar. Manager of the day, Ed, could have a lesson in customer service etiquette. Basically threatened to remove a table from our party if the remainder of our party did not arrive in 10 minutes. His point, very valid because half our party was late. But the way he drove his point could have been with way more class and better mannerisms. read more

I had the lox with the bagel and poached egg on top. It came with potatoes on the side. I have to say it was DELICIOUS. The service was good and the atmosphere was interesting. I can't say I understand the color scheme but to each their own. The portions seem a little small, but the flavor factor packed a lot of punch. And the price was not too bad. At the end of my meal I was totally satisfied and didn't feel like I just placed an anchor in my stomach, which is how I usually feel after going overboard (eating way too much) at a breakfast place. I will definitely come here again, and I highly recommend this place. read more

Loved this place. Service was great & the food was fantastic. The menu features some traditional breakfast items and also a few choices you'll only find here. 5/5, will be back! read more

Unfortunately my partner and I had quite the experience from the get go... to start, the coffee they gave me was so watered down and not good at all. My partners orange juice was also lukewarm and hard to enjoy. When we got our food, everything was so salty and lukewarm as though it had been sitting on a counter for thirty minutes!! I got the potato head casserole, and the potato casserole itself was mostly a block of salty, thick cheese with some potato in it. Both our sides of French toast were also salty, and bitter? Not sure why. His omelette was dry and salty. Overall, it simply wasn't good. We both didn't finish our food, and we really aren't picky people..Our server barley remembered our requests and took a long time just to give us our silverware and syrup too, and the place wasn't even busy.. yikes! read more

We planned to arrive and be the first customers on the first day and were successful. Promptly seated and got a lot of attentive service. Met the manager, Ed. Our server said they all had to try every dish on the menu during training. I had the Apple Bourbon crepes and they were delicious. Not overly sweet but just right. Hubby had the Buffalo Chicken Omelet. He said it was spicy the way he liked it. Potatoes were ordinary but grits were an option that we will try next time. The Everything Muffin was so tasty and savory that I could buy one again just to take home. Perfect crust on the muffin too. Coffee excellent with creamer served in a little pitcher which I prefer. Server asked if we wanted coffee to go cups when we were ready to leave. We live within walking distance so will have to pace ourselves trying new things. Suggested they put some local art on the walls. The color is pretty but pretty bare. read more

Crowded after the 5k but able to sit at the bar and avoid the wait. Variety of options on the menu and our server was able to answer questions and give recommendations. Great way to end the race and prepare for the rate of the day. By the way, chicken and waffles off the chain... read more

The wait list online was a bit deceiving at a time of 10 to 15 minutes but ending up waiting 35 for our table. Totally worth the wait though! Great food and our server, Shannon, was awesome!!!! Love when you can see that someone really loves their job! read more

Loved Wild Eggs. First of all, I'm a sucker for breakfast so...To start off, I had a cup of their coffee of the day - hazelnut with whipped cream. Delish. I had the Mr Potato Head Casserole as my entree. It's basically a plate of loaded hash browns covered in fundido cheese and topped with an egg. I also had a side of their grits of the day - stuffed pepper cheesy grits. Also amazing. I will come here again. read more

Oh my yes! More Wild Eggs please! I have to visit again because there are so many things that I want to try! Today I tried the Red Eye espresso drink, Breakfast Nachos, and an Everything Muffin; ALL of it was amazing! The nachos were enormous, I took at least half of them as leftovers! The muffin had all of the toppings of an everything bagel, but with the deliciousness of corn muffins added; I highly recommend you try one! I also really enjoyed the restaurant itself; the walls are painted orange, blue, and yellow, and the decorations are very fun! read more

Food and service were eggscellent! Sorry couldn't help myself. Did not order anything that wasn't great. If we are ever back in Indy, this will be a stop! read more

I love seeing new breakfast joints open up in the Circle City because breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, but Wild Eggs didn't suite my fancy. I ordered an original Belgium waffle. It was delicious, but it tasted exactly like the hotel waffles you get excited to make when your traveling with your mom and dad. I also ordered a side of fruit ($4) that came in a tiny bowl. The fruit seemed old and dry. Very disappointing. Maybe one of their speciality dishes is the way to go. read more

My first impression was not great. We came in on Sunday and as expected we were told there would be a 30-35 minute wait. We didn't want the free coffee and asked the host for some water, she asked a different host if she could bring us water and responded with "yes if someone has time" while rolling her eyes at us. We weren't expecting her to bring it right away so we thought that was really rude. We almost left but we really wanted to try this place out. The wait turned into only 20 minutes, so that made us happy for waiting. The menu had so many options it took my friend and I a little bit longer to decide on one thing. While we were figuring out what to order I got a mimosa and my friend got a Bloody Mary. The Bloody Mary was delicious but he mimosa was mainly juice so I was a but disappointed. I opted for the buffalo chicken Omelet and my friend went with the biscuits and gravy! Let me tell you DELICIOUS!!!!! The biscuits and gravy had chorizo so it was a bit spicy but not unbearable, and the buffalo chicken omelet was a great convo! we both got the potatoes on the side and were perfect! Bottom line is I really recommend this place! There are many options so everyone with different taste buds can enjoy! read more

Work close by, so I decided to try it and get a togo breakfast burrito. The only thing tasty was the packaged cold tortilla. Since I couldn't find the eggs in it. The potatoes were old and the black beans had to be out of a can with huge cut pieces of scallions. I won't be back. ***l sent an email and have never received anything back. 10/02/19 my review still stands. read more

This is a great restaurant if you're looking for classic breakfast and brunch foods. I ordered the big stack of pancakes and they were some of the best I've ever had. The service was friendly and prompt. We had a 25 minute wait on a Saturday so not too bad, and they had free coffee while you wait! Overall a great experience. read more

Great service, uplifting atmosphere, and overall great experience. Our server Sean went above and bound to help us find the best meal, given it was my first time here. I got the ACE of a BLT and the breakfast tots and it was honestly the best sandwich I've ever eaten. 5 stars for sure. read more

Went here on Mother's Day and it was super busy unsurprisingly. They do not take reservations, but you can join the waitlist through yelp. Unfortunately, my group was 7+ so we had to see the hostess in person in order to get on the list. I had a family member put our name down early and when we arrived we only had to wait about 15 minutes. The waitress was so wonderful and made us all feel very at home. It took us awhile to decide because everything on the menu sounded great. A couple of us got mimosas that were only $2 per glass! I ended up ordering Kalamity Katie's dish. It did take quite awhile to get our food but we were a big group (8 people). Once we did, everything looked so good. My plate had lots of food on it and I was only able to eat half of it. It was really good and highly recommend this brunch place! Remember to join the waitlist online because this place does get busy quickly! read more

Stumbled upon this place while in Indy. I had the stuffed French toast and a Bloody Mary. The French roast was good, nothing to write home about. The Bloody Mary was average at best. This place does get packed and the waitress was nice. I would come again when I am in town if I wanted something that had an easy going vibe and low wait time. read more

Bad first experience at Wild Eggs... we're always on the lookout for new brunch spots (given Indy doesn't have nearly enough) and hadn't yet checked out Wild Eggs. Unfortunately, it wasn't great. Firstly, they really need to hang some art/pictures on the walls. It feels very sterile and cafeteria-like. But the biggest issue was my order. Not only did it take about 25 minutes to get our food once ordered - people around us were getting theirs, so assume it had something to do with the timing of the waitress inputting our order - but my order was wrong. I asked for no goat cheese (makes me gag) and they offered to sub another cheese, so I chose pepperjack. After the long wait, my Eggs were brought out with - you guessed it - goat cheese. She brought it back to the kitchen, and a new plate was served about 5 min later. It looked gross, a slice of cheese barely melted/gluey on top. I started to eat it, it was okay. But then, after a few bites, I got a forkful of goat cheese! Apparently, they didn't remake my eggs, just scraped the goat cheese off the top and slapped on a piece of pepper jack. Seriously?!?! So, I couldn't eat the rest - you could see the goat cheese sitting under the slice. I told the waitress, she wasn't that apologetic but offered to remake. Um no, I tried that once already and my 2 fellow diners were nearly done. I just asked to remove from our check (which they did.) The only reason for 2 stars versus 1 is because my husband liked his kalamity kakes and the side pancake was nice and fluffy. Also, the fresh-squeezed OJ was on point. But, get it together; when you screw up a customer's order, make it right. Don't try to fool them into thinking it is. read more

I usually love the cinnamon bun from Wild Eggs but on Mother's Day it was not that great. Cold and pretty dry.

What to say. Went here with a friend and her boy. Got adult coffee (the bailey's kiss I believe it was?) I had stuffed French toast, friend had Mr Potato Head casserole, other companion had the cinnamon roll. Service at first was awful. They put us in the section of someone who wasn't even there yet. So we sat there with no drinks or anything for probs 20 minutes? Then we had drinks and it took a long time for a waitress to come get our food orders. And when the food came out, my friend (with chin length red hair) found a very long blonde hair in it, embedded in the cheese. They wound up making her a new one. That was interesting though. Stuff happens. Food was just okay. Service was just okay. It is what it is. Friend with the hair in her food actually liked it more than me, interestingly enough. read more

The staff and manager were friendly and the service was fine. Our breakfast though was very average. We had omelets, toast, and opted to sub fruit rather than grits or potatoes. The eggs in our omelets seemed packaged or a commercially prepared mix rather than fresh. The texture was just odd. Our coffee was fine but nothing special and the strawberry jam came in tiny plastic tubs rather than something more upscale. The total for our two meals totaled $37 which seemed high when it was just so-so. read more

On our visit to Indianapolis my family had breakfast at Wild Eggs. It was delicious! Shannon was our waitress and she was amazing. My son had the chicken and waffles and he talked about it all day. I had the Mr. Potato Casserole. Probably not the most healthiest thing but I couldn't stop eating it. If ever back in Indianapolis, we will definitely be back. read more

Love having a variety of breakfast choices so close to home. This one was especially slow last time we were there, but I appreciate that their menu offers things you don't see at the other 'usual' breakfast spots. Love the pictures they decorated with and it's a nice bright space. Staff is friendly. For those who like morning libations, this is a good option. Tried the potato casserole type dish, and I was expecting that it wold all be baked together, but it was more layered individually. Kinda heavy, but at least filling. Look forward to trying more things here in the future. read more

I can't say enough good things about Wild Eggs! Great food selection with healthier choices to boot. Service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Both of our orders were customised to our liking- perfect! Can't wait to come back to Indy and dine again at Wild Eggs. read more

This has to be one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. My party was not greeted for 15 minutes and did not receive water for a half hour. We also did not get silverware with our meal and even after requesting it our server ignored us and took another tables order. After asking another waitress they gave us plastic silverware because nothing else was clean. Normally this would not be a complaint. But for an establishment that is trying to be classy and charges $15 for an omelette this is unacceptable. I would not go back here if you paid me. The only thing that saved the experience was the quality of the food. The server was unapologetic and did not seem to care. Probably because all the servers took a smoke break at the same time and left the hostess by herself. But if you want breakfast you are better off going to McDonalds even they treat you better. read more

I came here for the first time in hopes getting a great breakfast after a week of finals. AND that's exactly what I got. Wild Eggs is very welcoming, open and very hip. Everything was egg themed and it was very chic. I had an "egg-cellent" experience and plan to dine here again! read more

Good food but service unbelievably slow!!! Clearly understaffed but also had a server forget we hadn't even ordered yet. Won't be back.

Possibly the best breakfast/brunch I've had in a while the "Return of the King" pancake stack is amazing! Also I had Katy's Benedict (not sure of the name) but the poached eggs and cornbread plank the chorizo and eggs were served on was absolutely amazing! Must have Plus the breakfast beverages were stiff and tasty shout out to the bartender Shaun! He is amazing please please please open a location in Fort Wayne! also eat the Cinnamon roll! One of the best brunch/breakfast spots in Indy. If you like grits, make sure to try the grits of the day. Honestly you can't go wrong though. I usually get the Nashville hot chicken and waffles. The chicken is extremely spicy which I love! Also the pancakes are stuffed with chicken as well. Beware though, they can busy on weekends so you may have to wait for a table. I'm only giving the review a 4 due to the slow service. After being seated on our last visit, it was more than 20 minutes before a waitress or waiter greeted us. read more

Sat by a window. The window sill was covered in dead bugs. Waited 30 minutes for average food. Was told my waffle would be out later then the rest of my food & my eggs were remade because they sat under the lamp too long. Ok thanks? Couldn't find the server when we were ready to leave. I don't understand why it was so slow. Why don't your chefs know how to manage food time? Service a no for me. The food is okay if you're patient. You're not missing out on anything here. read more

Was in town for a comedy show, and stopped in based on the Yelp rating. Fantastic place. I had the country fried steak and eggs. Very good, loved their white gravy. Skillet potatoes were excellent as well. My wife tried their buffalo chicken omelet, and gave me a bite. Out of this world. HIGHLY recommend that one. Fresh squeezed OJ was fresh, no question about it. Place seem like it gets busy on the weekends, so be prepared for a little wait. Would definitely come back if we are in town again. read more
