No one leaves hungry at Rosa's. The portions are huge and the food is good. Great reviews on Yelp let us here for breakfast. The cafe is located in an aging strip mall, but is nice inside and was decorated for Halloween. The Eagles (classic rock) were playing loudly. We were greeted and told to sit anywhere. The menu offers traditional breakfast and sandwich options. Prices are really reasonable, with most meals under $11. Water and beverages come out quickly. I had the Cali Club sandwich on wheat toast. The sandwich is layered (huge) with turkey, ham and bacon and garnished with tomato and lettuce. The fries are crazy delicious, crispy and seasoned perfectly. There was so much food that I took half home. My husband had the Country Boy Platter, which was a massive amount of food. Two fluffy pancakes were served with warm syrup. (I think he put an entire bottle of syrup on those cakes.) The three eggs were cooked perfectly. Bacon and Sausage were good and if that was enough, he had a huge helping of hash browns. I don't know where he puts it, but he ate everything. Our server checked on us and was friendly. This is a great breakfast place!

Fluffy pancakes, scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon. Was served with butter and warm syrup. Delicious!!

My daughter and I are here from out of town for an appointment at the hospital and wanted a good breakfast. We found this place on YELP! The food was amazing! The fluffy pancakes, eggs with cheese, french toast, oatmeal, and coffee were all delicious. The waitress was so nice and friendly. There's a huge menu and good luck choosing!! We have to come back to Indy in 3 months and will certainly be back!!

Quaint little diner at 71st and Michigan that's sneaky good. Went on a Sunday morning before church. Ordered their smoked sausage skillet w/ eggs and pancakes, and still feel like I ripped them off. I walked out stuffed and happy. Definitely worth getting off the beaten path - Rosa's got something cooking on the north side!

10 out of 10 experience! Very clean and welcoming in here. The server was nice and friendly. The food was really good and the eggs were fantastic. My dining partner got a pambazo and he loved it!! We came in on weekday so everything was quick: service and food.

I was I was skeptical at first because I'm used to eating first watch chains another broken egg chains but this place was 15 minutes off the highway and well worth it. I ordered the eggs, Florentine, hashbrowns and bacon and all of it was delicious and I am very particular with my food extremely and the hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. I ate every single piece of food that I could hold in my stomach I left literally a bite. Definitely delicious. It gives that home vibe.

We were all the way out in Greenfield and asked the grands what they wanted to eat?? They said Rosa's...ummm ok but it better be good! Well it did not disappoint. The food was delicious The service was great! The restaurant was clean. Now to go home and take a nap...I'm so full. Can't wait to go back. There are quite a few things I want to try.

I came here during off hours and had to wait a minute until someone noticed. But from then on service was great... I wasnsure what to get and asked for recommendations. He asked whether I wanted American or Mexican. I chose Mexican and was asked if I ever had a pambazo, which I had not, but I was willing to try. If you are wondering as I was, it is a sandwich on bread like a torta but it's dipped in guajillo salsa, filled with chorizo and potatoes and a bit of lettuce. Served with a side of hot salsa and sour cream. Fries came with it also. Nice crispy fresh and hot. And all this came in record time. Located in a strip mall it's a little bit divey, but the food is great. Ample free parking out front.

The food was so good. The service was attentive and fast. My family talked about going back even before we finished our meal. We went for breakfast and had a variety of items. Our youngest wanted chicken tenders and fries and was accommodated. The location is the best which might turn some away, but I promise you won't regret coming in for a meal. The food was so good w forgot to take pictures. I will say that the grist were watery so stay away from them unless you like that. We don't live around here, but have family business in the area and will definitely be back. Overall very happy with our meal here.

Banana and Pecan Pancakes. OMG! (Carry-out)

I've found this place from Yelp and have eaten there 4 times now. Every time the food was outstanding! Even when you get the food "To-Go" it's fantastic! The staff is cool too. This place is a hidden Gem!

We got the fries with cheese and they were very good. We would recommend. All thus said, the customer service here was outstanding! Angel was our server and she went above and beyond. Four specific items support this comment: 1. She greeted us when arrived and thanked us when we left. 2. We ordered the food To Go but we sat at a table. She came over and asked if we wanted the food on a tray or in a bag. Very observant and considerate on her part. 3. I could not figure out how to order cheese on the fries in their mobile app. She initially did not know either. But while we were eating, Angel researched the issue and came back to our table a second time to show us what she found out... so we knew the next time. Very diligent of her! 4. We observed another customer with a To Go order. When the order was ready, Angel walked out from behind the counter and hand delivered the food to him. Others would have just called the customer's name and had the customer walk up. Very thoughtful of Angel! Angel told us she had only worked at Cousins a short time. But she was a seasoned pro. She was knowledgeable of the menu and made suggestions. We will definitely return to Cousins. And, no, we had never met (or knew of) Angel until we arrived for lunch! . Great customer service!

The space is big and fun, with a large dining room, an old-school video arcade game, interesting art, and a big screen playing movies, which adds to the laid-back, quirky vibe. It's counter service with clear menu boards on the wall, making ordering easy. I had the cheesy jalapeño grits with bacon and an egg and... my goodness. So incredibly delicious. One friend ordered the same grits but swapped in fried catfish instead of bacon--also a fantastic choice. Our third went with a classic plate with eggs and bacon, and let me tell you, the bacon is thick and plentiful. We ordered a side of fries for the table and there were more than enough to share. Self-serve coffee with all the fixings is a nice touch, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Fun atmosphere, great food, solid portions--definitely will be back.

We were greeted right away and looked over the menu a bit before ordering. My husband ordered the country breakfast with chicken (definitely the way to go) and I ordered the cheesy jalapeño grits with bacon. We each got a cup for water and I ordered a coffee, excited because I saw ahead of going that it was self-serve (like at Cafe Patachou where I can get as many coffees as I like without having to wait for our server to come check on us first). However, the self serve coffee excitement was short-lived after seeing that they only offered half and half as creamer (I'm lactose intolerant) and the two coffee carafes were not labeled for what was inside (decaf? medium roast? you'll never know!) and then one was completely empty and never refilled during our visit. The water station also was not ever refilled during our visit, so we were not able to get refills after filling up our cups the first time. It took a couple of tries to find a table we could sit at because you seat yourself, but several had not been cleaned after other guests left and had food and drinks spilled on them. There were definitely enough staff members there to be able to clean them in between customers, so we weren't sure why they were left that way. We ended up sitting in the middle of the room towards the front, across from the clown art wall, which made for interesting conversation as we looked through everything. When the food came out I was impressed with the portions, but I had no flavor whatsoever to my cheesy jalepeno grits. The egg and bacon were good, but not enough to make it a good dish and I would not order it again. And I love savory breakfast and grits in general, so it was a real bummer. My husband's dish was worth the visit though. It was a huge portion size and we honestly would just split it if we came back and ordered it. It was so savory, seasoned perfectly, and juicy. One of the best breakfast dishes I have tried recently! I really debated between 3-4 stars for this, but my dish was a flop, the lack of cleanliness for the seating area, the lackluster self-serve coffee station, and not refilling the beverages ultimately scored a 3 star review for me. I would come back and try something else though, or split the country chicken breakfast because it was really good. Hopefully next time the beverages won't be empty!

I've struggled with how to rate and review Goose the Market for a long time…read more I've struggled mightily. It's an Indianapolis icon in many ways. It's beloved. And listen, it's not the most wheelchair friendly place in the world. If you're a wheelchair user, you're in all likelihood not going to the cellar unless you're extraordinary with you're chair or you crawl. I remember attending a Yelp event here, and I just wrestled with these issues so much. It's not inaccessible - you can get in the door, though even the parking is a bit wonky and the curb-cuts a bit worn. This is an older building in an older neighborhood. So yeah, if you're a wheelchair user plan ahead. I am a wheelchair user. And I suppose I should knock off my usual 1-star for accessibility issues. But, I just can't do it. I, instead, choose to go 5-stars with my narrative disclaimer that there are accessibility issues here. But, my word. This is a great place and every single experience I've had with Goose the Market, including last night's Italian Film Festival, has been stellar whether I'm in their location or at an event they are catering. What is Goose the Market? First off, nearly everyone considers it one of the best - Indianapolis Monthly, Eater, Yelp, etc. Goose the Market offers a daily menu of sandwiches, soups, gelato, and small plates. It offers raw beef, pork, poultry, game, seafood, in-house made sausage/smoked meats, and more. It offers charcuterie - both in-house and from other producers. It offers farmstead cheeses, fresh produce, artisan breads, preserves, sauces, pickles, pasta, crackers, flours/grains, and a lot more. There's the cellar - Enoteca bar with Italian style wine by the glass and small plates (and it has all-ages seating). Goose the Market offers a wine of the month club, gift cards, catering, classes, daily specials, and more. What can I say? There are those places that are worth the effort. As a lifelong person with a disability, I long ago realized the world would never be perfectly accessible. It's never going to happen. I'll continue to work toward a more accessible world, though I'll also honor that there are those places where I feel welcome anyway. I feel welcome at Goose the Market, though I can't quite get the full experience. The service is exceptional, the products quite awesome, the environment warm and friendly, and there's simply no doubt it's one of Indy's treasures. So yeah, five stars. With a disclaimer that those with mobility impairments may need to plan ahead or have a companion along. Who wants to be my companion?

We got sandwiches to go as well as locally baked cookies. I tried the recommendation for a vegetarian sandwich. It was nice and crusty and had some good flavor.
