Last weekend was my first time at Brunchies and I was very impressed! It is a delightful family run business. They specialize in high quality homestyle cooking for both breakfast and lunch. I noticed the very welcoming atmosphere the moment I walked in and could tell it was built around their friendly service. The food was delicious, hot, and came out very quickly. They show dedication to the community by offering separate menus for children and senior citizens, ensuring there's something for everyone. For anyone seeking great food and a warm, local dining experience, Brunchies is an excellent stop in the Carmel area.

If you want classic diner vibe go here. Seems to have a lot of locals and the food was great and well priced. Get there early to beat the crowd. We sat at the bar counter top. Nothing fancy just simple breakfast food for us - what more could you ask for. Check it out!

best brunch spot. very diner style food, can't go wrong with anything but I recommend the biscuits & gravy or any of the benedict options. service is always very fast & nice.

Came in with my sister and have been sat right away no wait although we go a lot on the rainy days. The food was spectacular although strawberries tasted a bit old, other than that the oatmeal I had was amazing and my sister food was pretty good as well! Our server both times came by with coffee just in time and always kept it hot! This place is set up like an old dinner and I love the feeling of it, very old school and I hope it doesn't change!

This is a popular breakfast spot in a Carmel strip mall. We stoped by for breakfast. The inside is decorated like a 50s diner with a long counter and plenty of tables. We sat in the back. A table for two. The menu is upscale trendy but the food is traditional breakfast. I ordered the avocado breakfast sandwich which was served on a grilled sour dough bread with egg and avocado. The sandwich was good, but a little greasy and could have used more avocado. They do a brisk morning carry out business with a significant group of regulars.

I live for Brunch. It's my favorite meal of the day. Most places have ruined brunch with bougie decor and overpriced lattes. This is not that. Brunchies is your traditional diner style place with "Cheers" vibe! Sarah, our waitress, greeted everyone and seemed to know what everyone ordered. Bar stools have been marked off to help with keeping the kitchen clean during Covid. 2 cooks were preparing the meals, and Sarah ran around taking care of everyone. I ordered the eggs Benedict Florentine and my husband snagged the Sausage Scrambled skillet. Lots of tater tots were included, and who doesn't love tots??? Our bill was under $30 and my husband just asked when we were going back!

Our server was on top of it the entire time - fresh, hot coffee in a nice size mug that she kept filled our entire visit. The menu is huge and everything coming out of the kitchen looked great. Biggest enough to share or leave with leftovers. My husband ordered the hoosier frittata which was massive and topped with sausage gravy. He upgraded for $2 for the side pancake which was perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Highly recommend!

It was served warm and very fresh, with delicious cream cheese frosting. I ordered the Signature Egg Tart, and it was wonderful. It was rich and almost quiche-like, filled with lots of roasted vegetables, and the bright, acidic sauce balanced it really well. I honestly wouldn't have changed anything except maybe adding a little salt, but that may just be personal preference. I also enjoyed a cold brew while we sat out on the patio. The only downside was the construction noise from the large apartment buildings going up around the patio. That is obviously not the restaurant's fault, but it is something to be aware of if you're planning to sit outside right now. Overall, great food, kind service, and a really thoughtful birthday touch. We would definitely go back!

Rize truly stands out for its commitment to local partnerships, sourcing fresh ingredients from nearby growers, and you can absolutely taste the difference. Everything felt fresh, thoughtful, and well-executed. The space is clean, bright, and nicely decorated. Coffee was strong and flavorful (just how I like it). The salad that came with the omelet was next-level, with a light, citrusy dressing that balanced everything perfectly. The waffles were incredibly airy, soft, fluffy, and melt-in-your-mouth good.... And wow, the bacon was so good we ended up ordering another side. Despite the restaurant being packed, service was friendly, efficient, and never felt rushed. Food came out quickly, and the staff kept everything running smoothly. A great spot for breakfast or brunch, definitely worth supporting a local business that also supports its community partners. The service was pretty laid back which made it a great place to sit back and catch up. The Shirred Duccah Eggs paired nicely with the Portabella Strata. The Ciabatta with the Shirred Duccah eggs was nicely toasted with a good chewy texture. It was great to complement the yolky egg. Service was a bit slower than I'm used to, so this is definitely not your typical quick breakfast stop. Also, don't come expecting the usual breakfast staples like toast, pancakes, or a side of bacon. The menu leans more toward a curated dining experience rather than a traditional breakfast. Portion sizes were on the smaller side, but again, the presentation was beautiful. I ordered a regular coffee. It was strong somewhere between decent and average. Not the best, but not the worst either. I asked for a refill, and when we received the bill there was an additional $6.82 charge. I was later told that regular coffee does not come with refills. If I had known that beforehand, I probably would not have ordered another cup, or I might have tried one of their specialty coffees instead. Overall, it's a cute spot with European-inspired décor and a unique concept. It's the kind of place you should probably try at least once for the experience.
