I ordered the veggie frittata and a latte. The portion was honestly much bigger than I expected, which was a nice surprise. Both the food and the latte were really enjoyable. I have no idea if there is a market segment that can be described as "fancy Denny's". Walking into this clean, bright place I knew it was a chain (there is something just a bit sterile about these places) so I know that consistency would abide. I got a Portuguese Skillet, the wife got her normal scrambled eggs well done, sausage, potatoes and toast. My skillet (hash browns, Chouriçoa sausage, scrambled egg, chopped peppers) came with an option of pancakes, they were good but I could have skipped them- that Skillet is filling! Everything was prepared well, came out pretty quickly. Our server, Ruth, was polite and effective. She engaged at just the right amount to make us feel welcome, without hovering. It's not inexpensive, but I do think fairly priced for today's economics, we spent $40-ish. If we lived near one of these would likely come in from time to time. read more

My husband had the Paradise French Toast. The pancakes were fluffy and malty. Just the way I like them. The French toast was flavored perfectly with Nutella and berries. So I went to Kroger for gas saw the breakfast place across the parking lot and I was excited cause I was kind of hungry. I looked at the menu online. OK that looks interesting and I go inside. It smells good kinda empty, cause I guess you know it's a weekday and people work(haha) and I look at the menu. It looks interesting. Like I said so I got the breakfast burrito with a side of hash brown, and a breakfast burrito had bacon in it and then I got a cup of coffee all to go. I get home the hashbrowns were fried crispy like burnt they just crunch in your mouth and the burrito was OK until I taste the bacon and the bacon is burnt that was $20 worth of food that is effed up who wants bacon and a burrito not me. I had an appointment at Ascension. While I was with the Dr my husband looked around for places to try. He found this place and I have to say it was a treat! Clean, upscale, friendly staff with reasonable wait time for food. They also serve adult beverages As my appointment was stressful that was just the right thing I needed I had chips simmered in green sauce with over easy eggs. It was delicious. I didn't bring home the left overs but the minute I left, I wish I had brought them. They were that good (chocquilles) My husband a rancho breakfast that he loved. We both had a couple of champagnes. Love the ambience - it's bright, spacious, friendly service, and clean bathrooms. I had high hopes because so many options on the menu looked appealing to me. Nice variety of kids breakfast options too. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing - I just didn't enjoy my Southern Benedict. I was debating between that and an omelette, and our server recommended the Benedict. The chicken was fine, but the biscuits were overwhelmingly buttery, the poached eggs were overcooked, and the gravy was bland. Went on a Tuesday and was happy to see that on Tuesday they give you a free cup of coffee with an order . I had two eggs over easy, sausage patties, and they were nice enough to allow me to order just one pancake. Eggs were great. Sausage patties were OK. Service is always good, and even though they are busy, I usually don't have to wait or wait long to get seated. They always have specials and lots of drink options such as mimosas. This is such a cute little spot to have breakfast/lunch. The inside is modern and decor is cute, nice space outside for patio seating as well, which is where we sat. I ordered the veggie omelette with a side of turkey sausage and pancakes with hash browns. The turkey sausage was overcooked but the omelette was delicious and the avocado was fresh! Best pancakes ever! And I don't even like pancakes. The steak Skillet is amazing with the habanero cheese. The eggs served the way you ordered them. Sausage links remind me of back in the day Le peeps (for those who know, know,) Breakfast burrito is definitely a smash deliciousness now and enjoy the other half later type value. Even though they stay busy on the weekends they get you in and out and you don't mind the wait because you know the staff is hustling. I stopped on my way in this morning and glad I did. I was quickly greeted, sat down and had coffee all within about 3-4 minutes of walking in the door. Food was as good as the service. I used to love this place but unfortunately after yesterday, I won't be back to this location. I knew prices had gone up when the tiramisu French toast special was $17 with no sides, just two pieces of French toast. The drinks have always been good and well priced, glad to see that's consistent. I ordered the classic eggs benedict with one side. My husband asked for the farmers omelette with broccoli slaw (which is no longer available but still on the menu), so he got potatoes and the suggested fruit option. He subbed the sausage for turkey sausage and subbed for a spicier cheese. No mention of any upcharges. Fruit was also suggested to me, despite it not being on the side options, so I went with that after hearing what's in it. When it arrived, I noticed some "additions" on my main plate (the fruit took a while to receive, didn't end up including all of the fruit mentioned, and included the strawberry stem). Under my egg benedict was the peel of an onion, a chunk of a tortilla, a mushroom, and a piece of sausage. I ate what I could then gave my place to the waitress (who confirmed what some of the mystery pieces were). She asked if it completely ruined my experience, I said no, but it's gross and makes me wonder about food safety practices when random items fall onto other plates. What if I had an allergy? What looked like a manager was standing behind my waitress while we discussed how gross this was but didn't say anything to me. The bill came. I didn't ask for a discount or a new dish, but I was surprised I didn't even get an apology. My husband's two swaps cost almost $5, which was never mentioned. Why does getting one meat instead of the other cost several dollars?! Then the fruit was $3 for us to get as the side, no mention of that either. Luckily you get 10% off if you show them you follow their instagram page, but the lack of food care, the mystery additions, and ridiculous upcharges will never have us coming back, especially when two breakfast entrees and two drinks were $60+ before tip. What a shame... Oh and the payment screen automatically is set to no tip so I told the waitress I'd leave cash, and she told me she made my drink extra strong (so she'd get a bigger tip). Met a friend for brunch on a weekend morning. We had about a 20 minute wait which is typical for weekends Mornings. The restaurant is small with booths and tables. The waiting area is tiny and we had to move out of the way a few times to let others go past. After finally being seated, I ordered the Belgian Bird. It is a waffle & chicken strips topped with sausage gravy & Jalapeno bacon syrup. It was very good with nice flavor and just the right amount of sweet, savory, and spicy kick that I like. I did not get a Mimosa flight this visit, but I shall return to indulge. read more

Parking extremely accessible - lot parking (unlike my other faves on mass ave) The wait is never terribly long - servers and support staff work fast paced but do not make you feel rushed or unwanted. The chorizo in my dish was very good and not greasy like other chorizo dishes. My fried potatoes were good but then sometimes there was a weird taste like they were fried in old grease. My parents did have to send their pancakes back to get warmed up. Pancakes were very fluffy! Service: Impeccable. Our server was very attentive and answered all our questions. The manager was visible and walking around. She was also kind, personable, and helpful. Ambiance: This restaurant is in a strip center so there's lots of parking. This is one of those hidden gems. When you walk in there are booths and tables on two sides of the restaurant. It's fairly small-medium size, but not often super busy with a long wait. The service is always friendly and really fast. If you're 21+, try the mimosa flight-it's a must. I do not like coconut, but the pina colada mimosa is out of this world. I always get the carne asada skillet and it's plenty to fill you up. The prices are reasonable as well. This is great for brunch with girls, the kids, or with a spouse. We enjoyed the food and since we were still in the area we decided to stop again the next morning - carne asada skillet for myself and farmer's frittata for my husband. Amazing! If you're a breakfast lover, definitely skip the old faithfuls like eggs, omelets and sides and go for one of their skillets, frittatas, or the chilequiles. Service was fast and efficient, friendly employees, and food was quick and fresh. You can tell they take pride in their work here. Mornings is tucked away into a Kroger shopping plaza on the far northwest side of Indy. It has a First Watch kinda vibe with modern accents and contemporary designs. The menu consists of elevated versions of all the breakfast basics. The latte I ordered had a cute smile face painted on it. The had a southwestern eggs benedict with chorizo sausage, avocado, and just a dash of pickled jalepeno's to give it a kick. I liked it alot. The restaurant seemed very busy, then again, we did come on a Sunday morning, so that was to be expected. However, I was happy that they were able to seat us right away. The place seemed all a buzz with so many people sitting both outside and inside. We were seated at an inside booth because it seemed like the outdoor seating was a bit wet from the recent storms. We were there for brunch because our power had been out since Friday evening and we just wanted to treat ourselves to some professionally made brunch food. My wife had the banana blueberry multi-grain pancakes with orange juice and coffee. I chose the salmon Benedict that normally has a side of greens, hash browns, or roasted potatoes, but I chose a side of fresh fruit and a glass of tomato juice to drink. My wife liked the coffee, which they kept refilling while we were there. However, she didn't like the orange juice. She's not much for pulp in her orange juice and this was not only loaded with pulp, but had plenty of seeds in it, so much so that she needed to dredge the glass with her fork to try to get it all out, but still ended up with pulp in the glass. My tomato juice was really good. It tasted fresh and tangy, perfect for tomato juice. My wife's pancakes were nice big, and fluffy, mixed with bananas and blueberries and topped with bananas and blueberries and pure honey. They did not need any syrup. According to my wife, they were perfectly sweet as they were and there was so much that she couldn't finish them, but she was definitely satisfied with them. My salmon Benedict came with perfectly poached eggs, savory smoked salmon, and spinach, on top of an English muffin and topped with a creamy, zesty hollandaise sauce. It was a perfect balance of flavors without any one flavor overpowering the others. The fresh fruit was nice as well. Nice and cool with a variety of fruit such as strawberries, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, pineapple, grapes, and a small slice of watermelon. We both needed to use the restroom before we left. Both the restroom and restaurant appeared very clean. The server was very friendly and attentive; I wish I could remember her name. I also regret not taking pictures. read more

I had the carne asada skillet with French toast. I got it all to-go. Although it was to-go I enjoyed my meal. The French toast wasn't soggy or super wet. It had a good cinnamon flavor. The skillet was flavorful and the fresh jalapeños were perfect! I feel like with some skillets there's just too much going on but this was simple and to the point and I loved it. The meat was a little too salty but there wasn't any salt on the hash browns or eggs so it was the perfect balance. Service was quick. Didn't sit there but the restaurant looked cute. read more
