I and my husband often times go out for breakfast or brunch on Sunday mornings. He is a diehard Denny's fan, but I was able to persuade him to check out this local restaurant with me. We were so happy that we did because not only was the food and service amazing, but we also ran into a good friend who was also there enjoying a meal with a friend. The restaurant is on the smaller side and was pretty full when we arrived. We were sat at a table just behind the partition at the front of the restaurant. The chairs to the table appeared to be intentionally mismatched, two with cushioned seats and two without. We shuffled them around in order to make us both comfy. I was going to order the breakfast tacos, but I'm not a fan of the "scrambled eggs mixed with hash browns and your choice of Mexican chorizo..." I prefer all of my taco components to be separate. To that end, I ordered the El Mexicano Skillet with scrambled eggs. I substituted chorizo in place of the carnitas and requested tortillas in place of toast. Everything was perfect and I used the components to build my own breakfast tacos. It was delicious. My husband had the Two Eggs Combo and added 2 mini waffles to the meal. He enjoyed his food and the coffee very much. I ordered a mimosa flight that we shared. My favorite flavors were the strawberry mango and the peach, so hubby got stuck with the classic and strawberry orange! The service and the atmosphere were the cherry on our Sunday! read more

Typical cafe with a large menu of breakfast or lunch options. They offer a few specials and substitutions. You can build your own omelette or order a typical Mexican breakfast or American style. They are very kind and the service is attentive. My waiter was friendly and my meal was brought out within 10 min of ordering. I arrived on a Wednesday morning before work around 10:00 AM. The cafe was not aa busy at that time. By the time I was finishing up then came a lunch rush and steady flow of people to dine in. I prefer maybe less onions and spinach in my veggie omelette it also comes with mushrooms, I asked for no broccoli. It was just a bit too much for one person. And I guess I don't care for watery omelettes the avocado slices were good. Overall the omelette needs more seasoning or salt and pepper it tasted like water and spinach to me. Couldn't enjoy without mixing it with the side of smoked sausage (ham). If you enjoy meat. I recommend to skip the veggie omelette and just get something with bacon in it next time. The side of diced potatoes were my favorite of my meal. I like the crisp and they did not taste burnt. They were cooked well and were even better with ketchup. I added one slice of sourdough toast your omelette comes with two sides. I wanted to do a quick journal entry and I brought a magazine to read but the music was a bit loud in the cafe. It was more of a louder space they played alternative rock and contemporary music. I had to wear my headphones to try and focus. If you are going to enjoy your meal and chat this is ok for that but not if you have like a work call or zoom this is not the cafe for you. Overall it's a good vibe. I wan't to go back and try a traditional mexican breakfast next time something with tortillas maybe. I also did not try their pancakes which looked good on the menu. Sorry......The food was so good and I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture of what I ordered. I ordered the Hoosier Frittata. It's kind of like an open faced omelet that's cooked on both sides. It comes with eggs, ham, sausage, onions, green peppers, and lots of melted cheese that's topped with a creamy sausage gravy. OMG.....it was great. And it was huge. I could only eat about half of it before I was stuffed. Their coffee is amazing. If you like coffee, then this place is for you. The restaurant is clean and our server was excellent. Overall it was a good experience. Prices are a little more than expected, but the food is worth it. We were in Indy visiting family and popped in on a Sunday morning around 10. We were seated right away and the place quickly filled up. Our server was on top of it the entire time - fresh, hot coffee in a nice size mug that she kept filled our entire visit. The menu is huge and everything coming out of the kitchen looked great. I ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage and a side of hashbrowns. The burrito was loaded with eggs, veggies and sausage with a great salsa verde on the side. Biggest enough to share or leave with leftovers. My husband ordered the hoosier frittata which was massive and topped with sausage gravy. He upgraded for $2 for the side pancake which was perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. He helped with my burrito and ended up taking more than half his home which he said was just as good warmed up the next day. Service was great and the manager stopped by every table to check in. The first time trying this spot was super enjoyable! My lunch buddy and I had never been in this area and this sounded really good. She got a biscuits and gravy omelette and I got the veggie omelette. Our server was sweet and just a doll and kept my decaf coffee topped off and plenty of hazelnut creamer! The menu is loaded with so many options that we are eager to visit again and try something else. They also have a delicious selection of mimosas and alcohol based drinks that we didn't try but definitely would consider next time. First time here, noon on a Monday , and we were seated quickly. Service was prompt and our meal came out fairly quickly. Eggs Benedict with salmon for me, Patty Melt for RRR. The PM was huge and just right for him and his fries were nice and crispy. My EB was delicious with lots of spinach and lox. This plus the hollandaise and English muffin was a nice mix of healthy and indulgent. My only complaint was that it wasn't hot enough. It comes with potatoes but they let me sub fruit salad, upcharge, which was really good, lots of different fruits. They also have some nice tables with umbrellas for shade out on the patio. The host was friendly and our server too. As busy as they were, I was impressed with how prompt everything was. The coffee was delicious and rich and not too bitter. I ordered Huevos Rancheros. Eggs were perfectly cooked over medium as I requested and all of the ingredients were fresh. The chorizo was flavorful with just the right amount of spice. My husband ordered the French Toast, which made me jealous so I ordered a side of French toast too and I'm glad I did. Thick slices of brioche bread perfectly battered and fluffy. My husband in particular enjoyed the maple whipped cream on his. Oh and I can't forget the diced potatoes! Crispy, seasoned and lightly battered. They were the perfect accompaniment to the whole meal. We enjoyed our visit so much I ended up taking my parents there the following weekend.
