I am so glad we came back! What great improvements to the menu! Jordan was our server and kept our coffee filled (which is really good, locally-roasted by Hubbard & Cravens!). I ordered the classic Ham & Biscuit Benny with an amazing homemade hash brown casserole. Amy got the tomato, spinach & feta scramble which was served with a generous side of fresh fruit and multigrain toast. We also tried Lib's amazing carrot cake, which is big enough to split. The atmosphere here is cozy and full of energy with a community table that's always fun to have a happy hour stop-over after work with your colleagues. Ohh my gosh ladies! If I grew up as a girl close to this beautifully decorated place I'd want my mom, aunts and grandmas to take me everyday!! This is a beautiful accent in Carmel with the decor, scenery, Menu and delicious beverages. I attended for an after hour party event so I wasn't able to try the menu but had a beautiful mocktail spritzer during the special event. I look forward to being cozy with girlfriends again! Loved this little gem. There were 14 of us, an older group of ladies, and the young server was so patient and explained the menu several times. Without an eye-roll or complaint. Most ordered the 3 sisters, 3scoops chicken, tuna and egg salad, which looked delicious. I had the blackberry bacon toasty, and I almost jumped for joy, it was so delicious. Our family party of 11 was welcomed with little notice (we did call ahead). We were seated at a high top with another large party. The restaurant was busy, but service was great and we felt comfortable. Cocktails for brunch started our day. Lavender gin sour was delicious. Two of us got the Bloody Mary. Customize it to your taste. It is super good. All around, everyone that ordered cocktails enjoyed them. My husband started with the carrot cake (don't save dessert for last). The best yet-his option. I took my husband to a quiet breakfast at Goodness Gracious, today. I was mesmerized by the dining room which is filled with mostly pink, vintage and antique decor. I would call the style country cottage. The seating is very comfortable and cozy. This is a perfect setting to bring the girls for brunch. Toby, our server, was friendly and attentive. The coffee bar is self serve. The coffee is hot and there were several cream options. The menu is filled with locally sourced ingredients and interesting options. I ordered a bowl of the fresh, in-house made cauliflower soup. The soup was fragrant and delicious. Meals are served on vintage plates. My husband had the Farmhouse Breakfast of eggs, bacon, fried potatoes and marble rye toast. Toby brought him strawberry jelly and ketchup. He said his eggs were cooked perfectly. The restaurant hosts fun special events throughout the month including crafting sessions and special menu items. My wife and I discovered this relatively new place over the post-Thanksgiving shopping weekend in 2024, and we were blown away by the overall experience. A slight disclaimer: If you're an ex-Army Infantry officer, whose diet of choice is plenty of carbs, red meat, Old Fashioned cocktails, and a few fried appetizers (yes, I just described myself), then this "might" not be your kind of place. This restaurant obviously caters to a different crowd, based on the décor and the beverage/food selections. However, I still loved it regardless. Attended a Taylor Swift event on Friday night. First of all the place is absolutely adorable. Our waitress was so friendly. She graciously answered our many questions and offered detailed descriptions of the food and drinks. They had a special menu just for the Taylor Swift event. I was happy to see we were able to order off the brunch or lunch menu. Everything on the menu sounded good. I ordered a Lavender Haze cocktail. It was delicious. One of the things I was looking forward to the most was the Chai cookies (Taylor's favorite cookies). Our waitress was so sweet and brought all of us a Chai cookie and didn't charge us for them. My husband and I each ordered the chick(hen) and waffle. The idea of a fried whole Cornish hen on a waffle with hot honey was intriguing. The food was definitely hot. The waffle was soft, not crispy, but fine. The hen was hot and juicy, but was totally bland. I tasted no real seasoning at all. We also ordered the lemon blueberry ricotta toast with greens as our side. The toast was okay, but still not very flavorful. It also wasn't plated great. What a cute little brunchie spot! My friend and I stopped in while walking around downtown Carmel. We were greeted and seated instantly and loved all the decor! The teacups are all eclectic with fresh flowers on every table. E Meals are served with a 1/2 sliced peach, which is such an underrated treat. At first, I thought it was a jam, but biting into it, so fresh, and reminds me of my childhood. The restaurant itself is super cute. Pink is a favorite color of mine so I was really happy to walk in and see all the pink decor. It is a fun vibe. The menu sounded really good and I ordered the toast with ricotta, honey,lemon zest and blueberries. I was expecting to see a big thick piece or two of toast with a beautifully plated dish, but instead, I received the thinnest single piece of toast imaginable and it looked like a child had prepared it. There was also a very tiny bowl of fruit that came with it. I believe it cost $17. I was certainly expecting so much more for the price. Typically when I go to places to eat breakfast, I can't even eat it all, but I was still so hungry when I left there. I did not have any issues with the service, I was just very disappointed with the quality and quantity of the food, especially for the money. I will not be going back. read more

This was my second visit to Goodness Gracious. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The place is cute with pink vintage flair. Both visits I sat at the large community table which is great for people watching or dining alone. The food was great both visits. The first visit I ordered the Little's Breakfast with egg, pancakes, and fruit, and the second visit I ordered toast rather than pancakes. Requested toast without cinnamon and sugar, but it came with it. It was still good and the staff seemed pretty busy, so I didn't complain. I appreciate that they allow adults to order this little breakfast and don't limit it to kids. I loved the unlimited iced coffee! Both of my visits have been on Saturday mornings. The service has been slow, so would not recommend going if you are on a a schedule, but fine for an easy going Saturday morning. I am anxious to try the lunch menu! They had posted a Bloody Mary bar, but at that particular day and time it was not up and running but they have plans for it in the future. I was treating my mom to a late Mother's Day brunch since I am also a server as my second job so I was working on Mother's Day. It's a small space and very noisy if you want to have decent conversation. Took forever to be greeted by a server. I was ready to get up and take my mother somewhere else but the server finally came around as I was literally getting up. The food was okay but nothing to rave about. Our server never checked on us once we got the food. As a server myself I was observing the atmosphere and it didn't seem like any table was receiving great service. It's not that big of a place so even if all the tables are sat the service should not have been as slow and subpar as it was. My friend said it was 'ok'. Her side of fruit, was the saddest cup of grapes. Waitress did not check back in to see how we were doing. I'm a huge fan of their kids menu because it prioritizes fruits and veggies in fun formats (cucumber slices, spiced peaches, etc). That being said, my kids LOVED the chicken salad and the egg salad. While smallish and intimate, it is bright and enervating. It starts with a self serve coffee station providing an opportunity to appreciate the atmosphere & the welcoming appointments. For us, highlights of the cuisine were Banana Bread French Toast (maple syrup provided but totally unnecessary), the Cup of creamy Roasted Red Pepper soup is superb and served in a teacup providing a 'down home touch'. For me the star of the show among so many great sounding choices is the Buffalo Chicken Stuffed Baked Sweet Potato with pieces of melty Gorgonzola on top.
