You know it has to be a great place if they have a basket with dog treats outside their door! It's a colorful cheery and fun decorated with charm of down home hospitality and the servers display this too! I met 2 friends. Here's what we ordered from the unique menu items and we all enjoyed it immensely-Three sisters salad w a pickled spiced peach (very good and different!), eggs Benedict (w requested greens added) and I had the Watch tub salad. One friend had the espresso martini and the other had the raspberry prosecco and I had a latte w homemade caramel syrup. Hey have events too (see photo). It was very enjoyable as we sat by the corner window with lots of natural light and could watch the dogs come up for a dog treat at the door.

Crab Oscar special with a filet. Thanks for the suggestion for the add on of the steak. Excellent!

Our family party of 11 was welcomed with little notice (we did call ahead). We were seated at a high top with another large party. The restaurant was busy, but service was great and we felt comfortable. Cocktails for brunch started our day. Lavender gin sour was delicious. Two of us got the Bloody Mary. Customize it to your taste. It is super good. All around, everyone that ordered cocktails enjoyed them. My husband started with the carrot cake (don't save dessert for last). The best yet-his option. After a taste, our son ordered one to go. The carrot cake and spiced peaches (one was served with some plates). I had the Oscar's special. Our server suggested adding a filet. Excellent ideal. Beautifully crafted. Our granddaughter got the French toast. Super delicious with chocolate chips. Overall, our party enjoyed their meals. The ambiance is a melange of one off plates and cups. Walls are decorated with all Retro pictures recipes all kinds of interesting things to look at. Cups are in a coffee bar and you pick your size you pick your pattern it's like going into grandma's cabinet actually may be gray grandma's cabinet. I highly recommend!

Banana bread French toast. Best banana bread I've ever had!

Oh my goodness. Best place in town! The food we got was delicious!!! I got the banana break French toast with a side of fresh fruit, along with a pink starburst drink. Everything was amazing!!! The service was just as good as the food! However, it was a bit slow coming out. The place itself was slightly messy and cluttered, but overall fairly clean. That could just be the style of place. However It is on the expensive side. I would really recommend this place.

A friend took me to lunch at this charming restaurant. We were welcomed immediately and taken to a table for two. This gave us the opportunity to look at all the cute decorating that had been done Fresh flowers on the table, pink antique table cloths, parsley table clothes Antiques on the wall beautiful mirrors, I could go on and on. Since my friend was buying I didn't feel comfortable taking pictures. Sorry, You will have to see for yourself Menu included champagne, mixed drinks and of course coffee, etc Brunch menu for me. The best lox and bagel I have ever had. The salmon was fresh smoked and delicious. The cream cheese was whipped with horseradish. Served on antique glass plate with small tomato salad My friend loves hot browns. She said this was the best one she ever had. Real baked turkey, great cheese sauce (she did love it she cleaned her plate) The owner stopped by to clear our plates. She said everything is home made by her recipe. She explained how she had searched for the perfect lox and taste tested her hot brown with the Brown Hotel, feeling certain her sandwich was as good as the famous one The owner,Toni Mares, has been open for 8 months. Guests were standing in line to get a seat when we left We were very pleased that Toni talked with us and told her we would of course, be back. We had reservations and I suggest that unless you want to stand in line you get them also. This place is unique, the food delicious and the atmosphere welcoming. Well worth visiting.

I took my husband to a quiet breakfast at Goodness Gracious, today. I was mesmerized by the dining room which is filled with mostly pink, vintage and antique decor. I would call the style country cottage. The seating is very comfortable and cozy. This is a perfect setting to bring the girls for brunch. Toby, our server, was friendly and attentive. The coffee bar is self serve. The coffee is hot and there were several cream options. The menu is filled with locally sourced ingredients and interesting options. I ordered a bowl of the fresh, in-house made cauliflower soup. The soup was fragrant and delicious. Meals are served on vintage plates. My husband had the Farmhouse Breakfast of eggs, bacon, fried potatoes and marble rye toast. Toby brought him strawberry jelly and ketchup. He said his eggs were cooked perfectly. The restaurant hosts fun special events throughout the month including crafting sessions and special menu items. Toby said that we need to follow their FB page to learn the schedules of the special events. There is a private parking lot behind the building, but we found nearby street parking.

So, I'll keep this short & sweet: Goodness Gracious is an absolute gem of a restaurant. My wife and I discovered this relatively new place over the post-Thanksgiving shopping weekend in 2024, and we were blown away by the overall experience. A slight disclaimer: If you're an ex-Army Infantry officer, whose diet of choice is plenty of carbs, red meat, Old Fashioned cocktails, and a few fried appetizers (yes, I just described myself), then this "might" not be your kind of place. This restaurant obviously caters to a different crowd, based on the décor and the beverage/food selections. However, I still loved it regardless. There is a delightful steak & eggs breakfast item, available anytime, that really impressed me. The staff couldn't have been any more pleasant, which was a great finishing touch. So, my verdict is simple: I give it an enthusiastic recommendation.

This is the cutest place to grab a bite to eat. The atmosphere is so cozy and quaint. I highly recommend the devil loves pesto sandwich and their coffee bar. 5 stars for me!

    Lavender Haze cocktail

Attended a Taylor Swift event on Friday night. First of all the place is absolutely adorable. Our waitress was so friendly. She graciously answered our many questions and offered detailed descriptions of the food and drinks. They had a special menu just for the Taylor Swift event. I was happy to see we were able to order off the brunch or lunch menu. Everything on the menu sounded good. I ordered a Lavender Haze cocktail. It was delicious. One of the things I was looking forward to the most was the Chai cookies (Taylor's favorite cookies). Our waitress was so sweet and brought all of us a Chai cookie and didn't charge us for them. That was a nice surprise. Food was good but the service was fantastic! Made for a fun girls night.

I was excited to try this place. The ambiance is fun. I told my husband it looked like a southern Memaw's house (which is a good thing). The service was adequate. We were greeted promptly. My husband and I each ordered the chick(hen) and waffle. The idea of a fried whole Cornish hen on a waffle with hot honey was intriguing. The food was definitely hot. The waffle was soft, not crispy, but fine. The hen was hot and juicy, but was totally bland. I tasted no real seasoning at all. We also ordered the lemon blueberry ricotta toast with greens as our side. The toast was okay, but still not very flavorful. It also wasn't plated great. The greens looked kinda old and were swimming in a vinaigrette. For the prices, I just expected better. I told my husband after we left that I wasn't eager to go back.

This is a fun and eclectic little spot! The interior is bright, colorful, and mismatched. We sat at their large community table. Coffee is a self serve station where you get to pick your own mug from their wall of unique vessels. That was fun! I ordered the biscuits and gravy, which was delicious! The real star was the hash browns side though - so crispy and worth it! Service was a a bit slow, but overall a fun experience!

What a cute little brunchie spot! My friend and I stopped in while walking around downtown Carmel. We were greeted and seated instantly and loved all the decor! The teacups are all eclectic with fresh flowers on every table. E Meals are served with a 1/2 sliced peach, which is such an underrated treat. At first, I thought it was a jam, but biting into it, so fresh, and reminds me of my childhood. The menu is continuing to grow w new drinks, added hours of operation, etc. Goodness Gracious is exactly what this area needed and kudos for another small business coming in! The food is all cooked to order but still in a timely manner, yummy drinks and just a pleasant experience with decent pricing! Can't wait to make this my continued Brunchie spot!

The restaurant itself is super cute. Pink is a favorite color of mine so I was really happy to walk in and see all the pink decor. It is a fun vibe. The menu sounded really good and I ordered the toast with ricotta, honey, lemon zest and blueberries. I was expecting to see a big thick piece or two of toast with a beautifully plated dish, but instead, I received the thinnest single piece of toast imaginable and it looked like a child had prepared it. There was also a very tiny bowl of fruit that came with it. I believe it cost $17. I was certainly expecting so much more for the price. Typically when I go to places to eat breakfast, I can't even eat it all, but I was still so hungry when I left there. I did not have any issues with the service, I was just very disappointed with the quality and quantity of the food, especially for the money. I will not be going back.

We had the crab cakes and crab & artichoke dip for apps and our lunch entrees were the fried catfish sandwich with fries and the filet with mashed potatoes and collard greens. For bevvies, we tried their rosé and red zeppelin English ale. All of it, every bit and bite, was 10/10. Food breakdown: - Crab cakes: succulent lump crap meat within a lightly battered and flash fried coating. They come on a bed of arugula with a light dressing and dipping sauce for the cakes. Super yummy! - Crab & artichoke dip: ooey gooey deliciousness, perfect balance of cheese sauce too. You don't have to search for the crab or artichokes. And the fried naan chips were sliced long and thin, and could've been called naan fries actually. Perfect companion for the dip. - Fried catfish sammich: the piece of fish was huge and the batter was good. It came on Texas toast with fixins and tartar sauce. Won't lie, the only thing I wanted for was some hot sauce. That's a me problem... just gotta have hot sauce when I eat fried fish but I didn't ask for any while I was there (they may offer it) and still very much enjoyed the sandwich. - Filet: it was great... hubby got it medium and it arrived perfectly cooked. The Demi glaze sauce was so good and so were the sides. Their collard greens are seasoned up! I said does my auntie work here?! This cuisine is so comfortingly southern and didn't disappoint. Shoutout to our friendly and helpful server, Dan... our food and drinks came out quickly and so did our to-go box. His service was truly top notch. We have been living in Carmel for 5 years and this is one of the best restaurants here. If you're on the fence about trying this place, jump off and make a reservation. You won't regret it.

Our server was attentive and friendly. We ordered the pimento dip and crab cake to start. The dip was not quite as good as we expected based on prior reviews. It was good not great. We enjoyed the crab cakes more which were full of crab. The entrees were the stars though - I had the peach glazed salmon which was cooked perfectly and the glaze was super flavorful. The collard greens were tender and had a tasty smoke flavor. A couple folks had short rib entrees and one had one of the shrimp and grits options. The servings were very hearty especially for the prices. All in our party agreed they would definitely return and happily order the same dish although there are many items on the menu we all want to try. We had seats inside and it was fresh and clean and not too loud despite being busy. Great place!

We didn't really have much choice other than to sit at the bar which wasn't ideal. We ordered the Sliders which we both agreed were a bit too salty and heavy on the mustard. The cheese plate however was a hit. Probably the best beer cheese I've had yet. The drinks were good. We just missed happy hour so will come back for that next time.

We were still a bit hungry after the board, so we ordered a "bacon flight" and some deviled eggs. And that is how I learned that bacon served with a sauce is not for me., whether is a spicy chili sauce, a creamy lime dip, a tomato aioli, or a butterscotch-chocolate concoction. The "savory" bacon option was egregiously salty. You might expect that when you're having bacon, but they added even more salt and it was too much. It turns out that I also do not like wasabi on a deviled egg. I would give Divvy 3.5 stars if Yelp allowed half-stars because I like the shared small-concept and our server was friendly. I found the execution on the food pretty uneven, though, so we're rounding down instead of up.

I was wondering if the seating here would be communal since they only have 9 tables and room for 35 guests but I was pleasantly surprised that we were seated at our own table in a bit of a nook created by bookcases. My girlfriend and I had plans that day to go to the Peony Festival in town but it was cancelled due to weather. There were still many beautiful peonies in the restaurant itself and in many businesses around town. We were immediately seated by the hostess and our waiter, James, came to the table to tell us about the restaurant and that they would take our entire order and then course it out for us. I love this. Being a small restaurant it was a little noisy in there but we just spoke up a bit to talk to each other. We started with a couple cocktails, mine was Mr. Rumtastic and my friend had the Coming Up Roses. Both cocktails were well made and good. I found mine a bit thick on the palate, maybe because of the coconut milk? Still the flavors were well balanced and delicious. We started our meal with the Housemade Burrata, the bottom of the plate had a pistachio butter spread across it and there was mortadella on the plate, a puffy fried dough called gnocco fritto, and a balsamic honey along side. We were instructed to put it on our plate and mix it up and see how we like it paired together. What an excellent way to start our meal. We would definitely order this again. Next up for us was the Lamb Kafta Kebabs along with the Housemade Focaccia Bread. The lamb kebabs were ground lamb skewered and grilled served over a fresh fava bean puree finished with olive oil, sumac, ramp powder, and black cumin with some thinly sliced watermelon radish. The lamb was super tender and a perfect medium cook. The focaccia bread was a good addition to this as we slathered the homemade bread with the super soft whipped herb butter. Loved the rosemary baked into the bread as it gave it a woody, herby note without overpowering it. I almost ordered the Spring Salad but I asked James if it would be going overboard and he said what we ordered he thought would be the perfect amount of food so I will save that for another day. We ordered a second cocktail, mine was the Persephone's Elixir and my friend ordered the Peonies in the Park. We both enjoyed these cocktails more than we enjoyed the first cocktails we ordered. The egg white on mine made a little frothy creamy top and I loved the slight sweetness from the vanilla syrup and the pomegranate juice. I tried my friend's cocktail and it was so refreshing, it was peony infused vodka with rhubarb liqueur with a strawberry-rhubarb shrub. Next up for us was our main dish. I ordered the Spring Ravioli and my friend ordered the Persian Chicken. My ravioli was the best pasta dish I have had in quite some time. I usually don't eat an entire entree, I usually bring half home, this one though I ate every little bit, I would have licked the plate if I were not in a nice restaurant! Housemade ravioli with a filling of sweet peas, ricotta and percorino cheese bathed in a potato veloute' with sugar snap peas, pink peppercorns, chive oil and microgreens. I would order this again tomorrow if I were to go back tomorrow. My friend loved her chicken and her baked rice as well. So even after all these food, and it was a lot, we had to go for dessert. I ordered a cup of coffee with cream along with Crunch-Dipped Peanut Butter Pie and my friend ordered the Double Scoop of Housemade Peanut-Butter and Chocolate Gelato. We enjoyed these as well. We will definitely make another trip here as the service, food, and cocktails were right on point. Thanks so much to 9th Street Bistro and I hope you have many years of success.

The focaccia is huge portion - definitely fit for 3-4 people rather than just 2! It was sooo soft and delicious. I also enjoyed the savory galette. It was a solid option but wish it had just a bit more of the curry flavor. Despite all the ingredients, it was just a bit underwhelming. I tried a bit of my partner's meal, the agnolotti pasta, and it was so good - infused with flavor. He really enjoyed it and raved about it! We're excited to come and try them again.

We ordered them with the suggested sauces but also order the regular marinara and the garlic sauces on the side. We were given glasses for water (self-serve from the soda fountain) and also ordered a bottled beer and canned cider. By the time we were done ordering, a line had formed. The store was understaffed, which was explained to us later, so we had to exercise patience. We didn't receive our beverages until after the calzones were delivered. Before that, we received our rather large, small salad. It was more than enough for two people. The woman had explained to us that it comes with 4 cups of lettuce plus the toppings. That information helped us make our decision to share. The space is large and we noticed cornhole boards to be used on the patio. Unfortunately, it was raining when we went, otherwise we would have played. The calzones were good and filling. Neither of us finished ours and had food to enjoy at home later that evening. The Hot Mother Clucker isn't very pizza-esque, but dipping it into marinara sort of brought it back into the fold. The suggested chipotle garlic ranch was a better pairing indeed. The salad bowl/plate is oddly shaped, which caused toppings to being spilling off the sides. When it was brought to our table, the woman tried saving the toppings by wedging them between the order slip and her fingers and dumping them back onto our plate. I stopped her. I wasn't trying to be rude, but I don't want to eat food that a stranger's hands have touched. I explained this to her. She tried to assure us that she washes her hands constantly throughout the day, but she'd just come over from the register without a handwashing break. Just let the toppings fall where they may! Let's keep it hygienic.

We love the Social Cantina in Carmel. It feels like vacation every time we visit there. I want to…read morehighlight our most recent visit when our family of 12 celebrated Father's Day. The restaurant easily accommodated us is a separate area that was near the restaurants and a long booth bench on pine side. Perfect for our four five and under. Our server Hannah was cheerful and knowledgeable and was an asset to our celebration. Our food and drinks were delicious. We got the margarita tower (twice). It is delicious and definitely a statement (And the bartender certainly has a great sense of humor)! We all had delicious food. I tried the Korean chicken bowl as a salad (I love that you can order rice or lettuce for the bowls). I tried avocado with ahi tuna appetizer and could easily make that a meal. If you think Asian/Mexican fusion is not a thing, think again. We will be back to the Carmel location as well as the Indy location. Sit indoors, sit outdoors and enjoy a great experience either with a larger party or family party or just a couple of you

Our server was a nice girl, but extremely slow service. We had to ask for everything--straws, more water, more chips. She checked in on us maybe twice during our whole meal and didn't deliver our food. Food was pretty mediocre and had little to no seasoning. I'm still not 100% sure that the Margarita actually had alcohol in it as it was incredibly weak. The chips and dip flight is pretty cool in theory, but the queso and guac are the only dips that I would get. Everything else is just...meh. Your run of the mill Mexican joint at the corner will have better food and service than here. I would probably go somewhere else unless you're just looking for a cool vibe.
