This was one of the worst restaurants Ive ever been too. It was either an off day there or Im spoiled with my wife's home made Colombian food and the authentic restaurants in Chicago. The service was also submitted par. The server acted like he didn't want to be there and were were an inconvenience. The seats were very uncomfortable. The rice tasted like it came from a box and was dry. The frijoles looked so bad I didn't even eat them. And the papusas were very greasy. read more

Our experience here was amazing. So fun to try vegan version of Mexican dishes I have had before. The yuca fries are some of the best we have ever had. When you try a vegan version of a dish you have had before with meat, let the dish stand on its own. The vegan dish is not a substitute for the original dish, it's a vegan alternative. Service was fantastic, staff was very friendly and attentive. read more

I have had this spot bookmarked for some time and since it's Tuesday, I decided to finally give it a try! It was pretty empty, I didn't wait long for my order which was great but I can't say I was impressed with the food, which is a bummer seeing that it's also cinco de Mayo. read more

I was so excited to find this place since they have an extensive vegan menu! Although I'm not vegan, I eat dairy-free, so it was nice to have so many options and not be worried. I had the tostones, a vegan bean and cheese arepa, and the chicken and sweet corn tamal. Everything was flavorful, hot and fresh! The salsa verde added a nice zing to everything. My husband had the beef empanadas as well as queso with steak, and it was so filling that he couldn't eat it all in one sitting. My only complaint is that we got the food delivered via DoorDash, and we received our food almost 45 minutes later than the initial predicted time. That may be a Doordash issue, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Overall, I love that their menu has options for everyone, and it introduced me to Salvadoran food. read more

Everything here is amazing! The Pupusas are very good. I've had them before but never as tasty as 3 in 1. Their tamales are made with sweet corn masa, also so good! Steak street tacos, rank up there with the best I've ever had. And the people that are serving you are just so nice and accommodating, they're my favorite part of the entire experience. We're from St. Louis but like coming to 3 in 1 whenever we get in town! read more

Can't say enough good things about this spot! Wandered in while traveling and I wish we lived closer! There are soooo many gluten free & vegan options. As someone who is gluten & dairy intolerant, it's rare for me to have so many delicious options at a restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Despite the restaurant being super full, service was very quick. Food came out hot and fast. read more

Very good food. Quality ingredients. Filling. Super kind and efficient staff. Restaurant has lots of seating and plenty of parking. Very clean interior. Can eat-in or carry out. Menu has large variety. Try the seasonal menu too-nice assortment of Pupusas (like a Salvadoran puffy taco) and Sopes (like a Salvadorian open-faced corn bread thick tortilla with toppings). Plus tamales and LOTS of vegan choices Great atmosphere. Fair prices. Lots of fun food. We'll be back to try even more items on menu! read more

I popped in here last week for an order of carryout pupusas. I called in the order and everything was smooth from the call to the pickup experience, etc. You really can't go wrong with 3 in 1 Restaurant's pupusas and curtido. I always order extra curtido (and always want more). Our chicken and cheese and bean and cheese pupusas hit the spot. We also had an order of the pumpkin empanada (dessert) that come with chocolate sauce and powdered sugar. The staff is friendly and it's great to see that they've expanded the space. Such a tasty spot - only selfishly wish they were closer to downtown where we live! read more

Mexican style restaurant serving up vegan options. There is plenty of seating if you would like to dine in and televisions on the wall to watch sporting events. The gentlemen at the counter was courteous and willing to explain the different items on the menu. I ordered the vegan loaded fries and they were amazing. A pile of fries topped with lettuce, tomato, pickled red onion, vegan queso and vegan tinga. read more

I've had them several times over the past few years and they have the best tacos !! I love that they have a whole vegan menu section -- Today I had vegan: al pastor, bistec encebollado, and tinga tacos, all with cilantro, onion & salsa verde. Each taco was full of flavor but they each differed. My favorite is the al pastor just because they really nail the spicy sweetness. It's a beautiful balance of flavors. The bistec has a really meaty/savory taste and I think best fills the craving for a taco. The texture is also very nice. The tinga was quite tomato-y but was still very good. I also had the salvadorian horchata which is very refreshing and not overly sweet -- also vegan because they make it with water instead of milk. I've tried many things over the years and never had a bad experience. They're my fav tacos in the city and I love ordering from them at the the local farmers markets, too. Definitely recommend! read more

Food was good... Ordered pupusas, the yuca fries, and empanadas. I really enjoyed the queso that came with the yuca fries. We tried a few of the pupusas and empanadas and enjoyed it all. They do offer vegan options, which is pretty unique- but can't say if it was good or not since we didn't try any. The place was clean- with plenty of tables and chairs. The girl behind the counter was nice and suggested some of her favorites. read more

I haven't been in 3 in 1 for a number of years. They have totally remodeled and now have a trendy vibe. TV monitors were playing HGTV and there was light music playing overhead. They serve beer and wine now! I shared the Pupusa Sampler with five assorted pupusas with my husband. The plate came with a generous portion of a sweet slaw. The five pupusa's were filled with cheese, beans/cheese, loroco/cheese, chipotle chicken/cheese and pork/beans/cheese. We loved them all, but the loroco was our favorite. Loroco is a flower that grows in El Salvador and has a wonderful flavor. Adrian our server was friendly, attentive and brought our waters quickly. The food also came out quickly. There's plenty of parking in the strip mall. I live this place and recommend highly. read more

I was aware of this location because of a Yelp event. The restaurant looks much better after the renovation. I was in the neighborhood, so I decided to buy dinner. I ordered takeout of a smoking bandit pupusa for $7 and a steak & cheese taco for $3.99. I do not know which one (maybe the corn tortillas) was smelling so delicious even after I got home. Oh, the brisket was made inside the pupusa. I was given diced onions, sauces, and I think cilantro. I enjoyed my selections but may not pay for another pricey pupusa. They have their own Clover reward program. read more

I am so glad to have been reunited with this restaurant!!!! I use to go way back in the day when they were on W 56th St; so when I was driving the area I saw the name and took a gamble. They have upgraded their menu as they now have wine cocktails. They are premixed so depending on when you go they may not have all of them available. I had the passion fruit one and it was extremely tasty; a little on the sweet side but still very good. For my order I had the chicken tamales (which I missed) and a chipotle chicken pupusa. The food was amazing!!! It was just as good and perfect as I remembered it. The tamales have such a unique flavor since they are made with IN sweet corn and the flavor truly is one of a kind. Same with the pupusa, the tortilla is the perfect thickness and cooked to perfection around the meat and cheese. The service was great! I was greeted as soon I walked and and was asked if I was dining in or taking a to go order. I was there on a Friday in the later afternoon and there was plenty of seating which was great. It also was not very loud and the place is fairly larger there seemed to be two sides of dining space with table tops, high bars and bench seating available. Originally I was placing a to go order but with a 15 minute wait I decided to sit in and order a drink. I can not wait to come back and taste some of the other items on the menu. read more

I think I've found my new favorite restaurant! From the outside, this place doesn't look like much. It's only when you walk in that you feel you've stepped into this vibrant hideaway with delicious new dishes to try. I had the skirt steak taco, queso crema tamale, and G.O.A.T. pupusa. They were all delicious but I was blown away by the tamale and the pupusa. The tamale is a deliciously sweet twist on a typical tamale! The sweet potato and cream cheese tastes like a savory dessert that took my taste buds back to my grandma's at Thanksgiving. The G.O.A.T lives up to its name and ensures my return to try the whole sampler! The people here are kind and attentive. I will definitely come back and bring more people with me! read more

Absolutely amazing! Adrian, the owner was our server and he was very helpful with suggesting menu items as well as explaining the history of the restaurant. They serve: Mexican Vegan Salvadoran It was incredible to find out that they have actually been open for 7 years and they also go to some local Farmers markets. I had the Pupusa steak and cheese and chipotle, chicken and cheese and they both were delicious! I preferred the chicken over the steak. I also had Tostone's and Vegan queso Would highly recommend this place if you're looking for something authentic. Also, there was a lot of parking and the decor side was very nice and everything was clean. read more

The Mexican chocolate sauce was amazing with the dessert. We spoke with the owner a bit and he was so nice. I can't wait to go back and try more goodies! read more

So happy to see they have a full vegan menu. The chorizo is my favorite vegan option. The pupusa with vegan cheese and chorizo had a great flavor. I like that the pupusa dough was thin. Burrito had a good balance of chorizo, bean, rice, and vegan cheese. The vegan al pastor taco had an ample amount of al pastor. It came with double corn tortilla, cilantro, onion, and limes. The employees were friendly and helpful when asked questions about the menu and recommendations. The interior is a welcoming space to enjoy a meal too. There's plenty of parking as this is located in a shopping center. read more

It was my second time at 3 in 1 and wow, they made a major change inside! The walls were bright yellow before but now the entire dining area is brown-based and they have added new tables and chairs. Looks almost like a whole new place- I actually like it this way. They did a great iob! It is more cozy. I ordered two empanadas and one taco. This steak taco is amazing, it came with a lot of meat. Empanadas were great too, but I felt there was too much cheese in it that I taste it more than the meat. Still, compared to any other empanadas I have had, these are more "stuffed" with meant and cheese and they are so satisfying. read more
