I decided to stop here on my way home from work around 830pm, and it was packed! (It was cinco de Mayo) I was impressed with how quickly the sat me and took care of me! I had delicious margaritas, and a tasty burrito with chicken! Love the food and the staff here, check them out if you are in the area, many great options!

Good food, nice atmosphere, good service - small portions for chicken fajitas but they were excellent. Ribeye Tacos was average, they were very fatty. They do offer carry out Margherita but it is very expensive. Great location with outdoor seating.

This is the 3 tacos of carne asada . V filling! Yumz

I think I've finally found my new Mexican spot! After living in LA for close to a decade & being back here going on 4 years--- I was on the hunt for those legit little soft tacos carne asada w onions and green cilantro. I've eaten at this place once as dine in and once as delivery. Both times, the food was 100. I didn't feel sick afterwards either! Ha! (That's the real test lol sick). The restaurant is in a strip mall center that looks pretty sad but I'm glad I went on a chance w this spot bc they've know acquired a loyal gal! My neib was actually the one that suggested I try. It really pays off to ask around ! Thank you!

The food is very good. There's a full bar, but they're not putting any of it in their margaritas. It wasn't good at all.

YUMMMMMMM. Went to this restaurant before the Colts game on a Sunday. Arrived at 11 a.m. at opening and it was not busy. I asked for a recommendation from the server because the selection is huge and everything sounded good. She recommended the Chicken and Mushroom Quesadilla. It was delicious. And large! Super happy with the service and food. The only negative is that the rice was very bland - not much flavor at all. I will come back, though.

I work around the corner from Chile Verde and it is a frequent lunch stop I make with my colleagues. The food is great Mexican-American style, so not 100% authentic Hispanic dishes, but dishes that are familiar in Indy for sure. They also have a lunch buffet. It includes a salad bar, soups, quesadillas, enchiladas, queso dip, dessert, rice, beans, and different proteins like chicken and beef to create your own burritos/tacos. Service is fast and all the staff is super friendly. Clean restrooms at restaurants are a major 5 star check off for me and Chile Verde has a very clean restroom!

    lunch special #1 - chile relleno & shredded chicken taco #yum #ReviewsByRL

Right in the 75th & Shadeland strip center, plenty of parking. Food is good, decent pricing. I had the lunch special #1 which included a chile relleno and a shredded chicken taco, which were both a #yum. My friend had the frajita that looked good as well. Good no frills lunch. Major downside is where we were seated was so cold that we were cold even with our coats on. Staff was nice. #ReviewsByRL

With a name of a menu item, you can hopefully expect to have this item be exceptional! I went there today, several miles out of my way, just to try the Chile Verde. Service was good and didnt have to ask twice for anything. Staff was friendly, but there was something I couldnt put my finger on that kept it from feeling like a "happy place"? I was there after most peoples normal lunch hour on a Friday. Only a few other people in the place. From the outside it looked dark and I almost questioned if it was open? Chips came out warm and crisp and salsa was awesome. Looks like it was complementary. The draft beer sizes went from 12 or 16 oz? But then jumped up to HUGE and they had even larger! It came out cold. Very happy! While they didnt have Coors lite on tap, Miller worked. Rice was good. Not the best I ever had, but certainly good. Beans were good with melted jack cheese on top The Chile Verde was good. The tang from the tomatillos was dominant. I am not that experienced with chile verde to consider myself an expert. I have only experienced a few different ones. When I compare what I have experienced, this one lacked the hot spicy Jalapeno kick and flavoring. However, I can understand appealing to a wider customer base. I asked for some green hot sauce and a bottle of green habanero was promptly delivered. That fixed it right up on heat level! Still, some flavor of other chiles seemed to be missing? Was it good? Heck yeah! Would I order again? If I was in the area I would! The pkg of 3 flour tortillas I requested was warm in foil. Tortillas were small but warm. They could have used a tad more warming on a comal or cast iron flat griddle. I find when they are warmed to a point where brown spots appear, it enhances the flavor Mn

It's a decent Mexican choice if you eat meat, probably not the best vegetarian choices... I ended up with a margarita and an a la Carte bean burrito, which was actually really bad... BUT... here's the best part: I wouldn't come back here and eat anything though I would return for a drink and the MARIACHI BAND!!!! The mariachi band takes requests and did a stunning rendition of "My Way"...absolutely beautiful. That was worth a $6 tip from our table for just one song! Loved it!

The food is fine. It is your standard Indiana Mexican fare, which consists of: 1. sauce and/or queso on burritos; 2. lettuce and sour cream on everything; 3. chimichangas as a menu option. But, I do like Chile Verde because the management is pretty awesome and does fundraisers for non-profits. The people behind Chile Verde seem kind -- that is a plus. Also, according to a photo that hangs on the wall of the restaurant, a mariachi band plays there frequently, so that's a feather in their proverbial cap. I got the taquitos, which were OK. There were four of them. There was nothing remarkable about the taquitos, but they filled me up. They came with sour cream and guacamole. Meals come with complimentary chips and salsa.

Fabulous Mexican restaurant settled in the heart of a Castleton strip mall! Service is always quick and friendly. The food is phenomenal portions and really delicious. You can always have a great drink with wonderful chips and queso. Our family loves Chile Verde!

The service was a bit slow but it being cinco de mayo, we understood that things may move a little slower than any other day. They had some specials for the day but I got my old faithful, Maria's Enchiladas with steak. It comes with rice and beans and it's just so so soooo good!!! Overall, it was a good experience but I will try to come back again on a day that is not as busy.

The restaurant is sleek and has a cool vibe, but we immediately realized it was not going to be what we thought of when we saw "street tacos" mentioned during Google search. It's more of a metropolitan American Soul fusion place, with a heavy emphasis on loaded, uniquely flavored tacos instead of traditional Mexicana. The server was wonderful in explaining their menu and gave multiple recommendations, which I went with all of her great suggestions once I told her what I was craving. My husband didn't enjoy his appetizer, saying it tasted too sweet instead of savory for him, but the server was great at being aware of our plates and took the appetizer off our bill when she noticed he wasn't eating it without us even mentioning it. I got three different tacos, and the only one I didn't enjoy was due to the Mac n cheese that was stuffed in it. It just didn't taste or feel right having a taco with macaroni that was pushed in so densely that it became a sponge. The other two were great! My husband gave his burrito a 3/5, as he felt it was too much one note. Overall, don't come here if you're looking for upscale Mexicana, but instead want to enjoy interesting fusion flavors and fun cocktails. Great place for a group outing or celebration!

Then again, it's not an uncommon story unfortunately- large parts of the city forgotten in terms of economic development but then suddenly needed during times of campaigning. Had taken Keystone and then Rural Street to get here, and the potholes are not kind. But, we had this place on our list and were determined to make it here at least once. Tlaolli stood out for its vegan offerings. Plenty of vegan taco options, birria (an absolute rarity to see vegan birria), and torta. They offer soy chorizo, jackfruit, and king oyster mushrooms as protein options. The exterior is colorful, and inside there are seating options. We had gotten our food to go, so I cannot comment too much on the service. Had placed our order online, and the food was ready within the estimated time in the order. We ordered the vegan birria tacos ($17.99), the vegan torta ($10.99 base but added soy chorizo, which was $3.99), and the no-no-no taco ($5.99). Our total with fees was approximately $45.
