La Hacienda was a perfect spot for a quick lunch and watch the Colts play. The restaurant is typical colorful Mexican vibe with standard menu. Festive Mexican music was playing gently throughout the dining room. Daily specials include a blueberry margarita, which sounded great and almost healthy, but I had to pass because it was just too early in the day. We sat facing one of the many tv monitors. Complementary chips and salsa came out quickly. I don't usually comment on chips, but these were really good. They were super fresh made, no salt and tons of roasted corn flavor. They were the best chips I've had in a while. The salsa is also fresh made and had a great kick. The lunch menu is super inexpensive ($7.50 most plates). I had a #7 with chalupa, enchilada, rice and beans. The bean chalupa was delicious with lots of fresh guacamole. The beef enchilada was ok - the sauce tasted canned and the cheese could have been melted more. Rice and beans were typical. My husband had the burrito lunch, which he said was very good, but I'm not sure his eyes ever left the football game. He was a zombie. Our server, Merino, was 5 star super friendly and attentive. He took great care of us. Food came out quickly. Sorry, I forgot to take menu pics. My bad. The prices are really reasonable and the fare is standard. There's plenty of parking in the strip mall. I recommend!

Good food and service was pretty decent with the large party we had; food even came out quickly within the time we placed our orders.. The restaurant is fairly spacious if you'd like to have a large family gathering. I ordered the La Grande Chimichanga and the chicken was very flavorful with a lot of chicken. I'd definitely recommend this location!

We absolutely LOVE Laha! From the drinks to the food and the top-notch service -- everything is always spot on!

Always tasty and delicious, and services are friendly and quick. We recommend the guacamole Mexicano for a fresh and filling treat with your chips or meal. Also can't go wrong with horchatas for the kids.

Steak a la Hacienda with tender ribeye steak grilled w/onions, jalapenos, peppers, tomatoes w/rice, beans is always an excellent choice.

I love the Chicken Soup at La Hacienda especially with Chilies Torado's diced up and the grilled onions. The lunch menu is very afforable, kid friendly with a kid's menu, and the regular menu is versatile and affordable. Even if there is a wait, it moves quickly. I do recommend on the weekend to dine early, rather than after the Club next door opens. The parking situation is tough after the band starts. Regardless, of what is your favorite foods, I think you'll find a favorite on this large, diverse menu. The restaurant has two large dining rooms with booths and many 4-top tables for larger groups. The service is good and 99% of the time is great. The large 27oz. Texas Margaritas are a favorite and extremely popular or one of their cold brews. Stop in for the lunch specials 11:00 - 3:00p.m. or enjoy dining with their diverse menu.

Great Mexican food hidden on westside in Pike Plaza area. I ran in here real quick to get a late dinner, hoping they would serve me, and they did!!! Food was hott and fresh. The server was very friendly and patient considering the time frame. I appreciate company that's will give you good quality food 10 mins before close.. because we all know that's a gamble

This is my favorite La Hacienda- the dining space is open, expansive, and homey. Friendly service, huge portions, tasty & authentic flavors and incredible value. All the servers I've interacted with have had amazing personalities.. one of my favorite places to go for real flavors and good service :)

Came here for a quick lunch date with the girls on a Saturday. We were able to still order off of the lunch menu which is 11-3pm. The food was fresh and so good. The waitress got our drinks and food order in and back to us quickly. Lunch specials range from $9-$12 and the portions are perfect. I had Texas fajitas 10/10 my friends had taco salad , and chicken chimichanga. We all order the special margarita which was huge and good for $7.75. Chips and salas was fresh. We spent $61.00 total. Can't wait to come back. This is our new to go to Mexican spot. Please check them out. Service was great and they were not crowed at all. We were seated as soon as we came.

The food is excellent. The service is friendly and efficient! Prices are a great value. My wife had the avocado chicken salad. She gets it every time we go.

Well let me be clear. This review is based on ONE food item. It's so good I had to write a review. A friend from The Global Welcome turned me on to this. I was volunteering and she provided me lunch. La Hacienda has the best chicken soup. It's loaded with good chicken, diced tomatoes, queso, diced avocado, rice, and onions with just a hint of spice. It's just delicious. It tastes homemade. I've had it twice now just so I could be sure that it was as good as I thought. It was! Also a plus , the staff were all wearing masks. If you want some real homemade chicken and rice soup this is where you want to go

the food was soggy and tasteless like they made the me with the meat without even a pinch of salt they only had three tables of white people and I can see why probably the only Hispanic food they can eat.

This was my first time at La Hacienda on Lafayette rd, I ordered three steak tacos with onions and cilantro with a medium size margarita! The food was delicious especially since I had a craving for tacos!!!! The Texas margarita which is top shelf was really good... the service could've been better but I'm just going to assume our server was having a bad day... I'd still come back give it another try ... if you're looking for a cute authentic Mexican restaurant on the west side of Indy this would be a cool place to go!!!

Mango Margarita!
Jessica L.

The service was absolutely wonderful! Our server was attentive to us our entire visit. The food was alright but we did not finish nor request boxes to take our leftovers. The refried beans were runny and the food did not have much flavor. The mango margarita was pretty good.

We were seated in their outdoor area where the heaters were not turned on and the day had been rainy and cold so most of the table was cold throughout our meal. The service was a bit slow but it being cinco de mayo, we understood that things may move a little slower than any other day. They had some specials for the day but I got my old faithful, Maria's Enchiladas with steak. It comes with rice and beans and it's just so so soooo good!!! I also got the Arroyo Margarita which was good but def could tell they were adding a bit more sour mix to the drink. Overall, it was a good experience but I will try to come back again on a day that is not as busy.

Even with the rush, I was able to snag a seat quite quickly. I was so impressed by how efficiently the staff cleared and prepared my table; it's those little touches of attentiveness that really make a difference. I decided to keep things classic and ordered the Asada Tacos. The service was remarkably swift my order arrived in under ten minutes, which is exactly the kind of efficiency I adore. While the initial presentation was a bit more understated than I anticipated, the flavor was a total 8/10 triumph! The staff was also incredibly accommodating when it came to my preferences; they brought over a lovely selection of chips and sauces, but were perfectly gracious when I mentioned I prefer to avoid the heat. These are truly some of the best tacos I've had the pleasure of trying lately. I will most certainly be a regular here!

You have to buy a basket of chips, but it's very inexpensive and so worth it for the salsa bar! Lastly, the Al pastor is the bomb. The restaurant is sleek and has a cool vibe, but we immediately realized it was not going to be what we thought of when we saw "street tacos" mentioned during Google search. It's more of a metropolitan American Soul fusion place, with a heavy emphasis on loaded, uniquely flavored tacos instead of traditional Mexicana. The server was wonderful in explaining their menu and gave multiple recommendations, which I went with all of her great suggestions once I told her what I was craving. My husband didn't enjoy his appetizer, saying it tasted too sweet instead of savory for him, but the server was great at being aware of our plates and took the appetizer off our bill when she noticed he wasn't eating it without us even mentioning it. I got three different tacos, and the only one I didn't enjoy was due to the Mac n cheese that was stuffed in it. It just didn't taste or feel right having a taco with macaroni that was pushed in so densely that it became a sponge. The other two were great! My husband gave his burrito a 3/5, as he felt it was too much one note. Overall, don't come here if you're looking for upscale Mexicana, but instead want to enjoy interesting fusion flavors and fun cocktails. Great place for a group outing or celebration!

Then again, it's not an uncommon story unfortunately- large parts of the city forgotten in terms of economic development but then suddenly needed during times of campaigning. Had taken Keystone and then Rural Street to get here, and the potholes are not kind. But, we had this place on our list and were determined to make it here at least once. Tlaolli stood out for its vegan offerings. Plenty of vegan taco options, birria (an absolute rarity to see vegan birria), and torta. They offer soy chorizo, jackfruit, and king oyster mushrooms as protein options. The exterior is colorful, and inside there are seating options. We had gotten our food to go, so I cannot comment too much on the service. Had placed our order online, and the food was ready within the estimated time in the order. We ordered the vegan birria tacos ($17.99), the vegan torta ($10.99 base but added soy chorizo, which was $3.99), and the no-no-no taco ($5.99). Our total with fees was approximately $45. Tlaolli offers outdoor seating, so when the weather is nicer this would be a good place to come. Next to the East Washington IPL branch, Tlaolli has a colorful green exterior with neon signage. Food: The food was very good. The proteins were nicely seasoned and juicy. The highlight for me was the birria tacos and the consome. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. 10/10.
