Was absolutely amazing. We got sat down immediately. Workers were amazingly kind and checked on us very often. Very nice decorations too. Once we had got our food it looked so good. We didn't even have to wait long. Had the cheese quesadilla, was absolutely loaded. Overall, I definitely recommend.

Was a little weary going in but decide to give it a try. We had 6 people, 4 people ordered beer and it was ice cold. Service was fast with and the food came out in good time. We got 2 orders of nachos, 2 number 13's, arroz con pollo and the burrito asada. Not one complaint from anyone. The food was hot and delicious.

I love this place!!!!. It's been a quite time since I had been to Latin/Mexican cuisine. So, I was searching online going over the articles and reviews till I found that needle in the haystack. Los Cuates is the best Mexican food restaurant I've eaten in a very long time. The food is very authentic and delicious. The complimentary chips and spicy salsa were very appetising! The meals were adequate portions with very reasonable prices. I really enjoyed the Fajitas with tortillas besides the shrimp soup was yummy. The restaurant was clean and the staff was courteous.  Con: The neighbourhood is alittle shady

    Delicious!

I don't frequent this area but I was out for business and a co-worked said they had good food. I was a little taken aback by the shape of the building. It looks like something you would see while watching and old sci-fi movie so I was skeptical about eating here. It's a circular building and the floor plan was a little funky but cool. The ladies who run this place are really nice and service is fast. I had lunch on a Wednesday afternoon and although the place was pretty packed it wasn't noisy or had an overly crowded feel. The food was good. Your usual suspects for a Mexican joint. But the food was piping hot and the service was friendly. I would say this is a great choice for the area.

    Chorizo taco. Massive & delicious!

We tried this local favorite tonight for carryout & were pleasantly satisfied. I ordered 3 chorizo tacos & my boyfriend ordered 3 of the al pastor tacos. We opted to not get the sides of rice & beans. The order came with complimentary tortilla chips & 2 little salsas as well. The salsa was crazy hot so be prepared! Both of our taco orders contained 3 MASSIVE tacos stuffed to the brims. They definitely did not skimp on the fresh ingredients! Everything was so delicious! We appreciated that the corn tortillas weren't all mushy & wet & falling apart when we ate. Overall, it was a great meal & we will go back to try other menu item. Recommend!

This place is so good! The salsa is fresh and their chips came out hot! My meal was the enchiladas verde and it was very spicy and delicious. The reason for the 4 stars is their house margarita is not good, the mix has a strange taste and it is florescent green. Other than the drinks I enjoyed the food.

The service was a bit slow but it being cinco de mayo, we understood that things may move a little slower than any other day. They had some specials for the day but I got my old faithful, Maria's Enchiladas with steak. It comes with rice and beans and it's just so so soooo good!!! I also got the Arroyo Margarita which was good but def could tell they were adding a bit more sour mix to the drink. Overall, it was a good experience but I will try to come back again on a day that is not as busy.

Even with the rush, I was able to snag a seat quite quickly. I was so impressed by how efficiently the staff cleared and prepared my table; it's those little touches of attentiveness that really make a difference. While the initial presentation was a bit more understated than I anticipated, the flavor was a total 8/10 triumph! The staff was also incredibly accommodating when it came to my preferences; they brought over a lovely selection of chips and sauces, but were perfectly gracious when I mentioned I prefer to avoid the heat. The restaurant is sleek and has a cool vibe, but we immediately realized it was not going to be what we thought of when we saw "street tacos" mentioned during Google search. It's more of a metropolitan American Soul fusion place, with a heavy emphasis on loaded, uniquely flavored tacos instead of traditional Mexicana. The server was wonderful in explaining their menu and gave multiple recommendations, which I went with all of her great suggestions once I told her what I was craving. My husband didn't enjoy his appetizer, saying it tasted too sweet instead of savory for him, but the server was great at being aware of our plates and took the appetizer off our bill when she noticed he wasn't eating it without us even mentioning it. I got three different tacos, and the only one I didn't enjoy was due to the Mac n cheese that was stuffed in it. It just didn't taste or feel right having a taco with macaroni that was pushed in so densely that it became a sponge. The other two were great! My husband gave his burrito a 3/5, as he felt it was too much one note. Overall, don't come here if you're looking for upscale Mexicana, but instead want to enjoy interesting fusion flavors and fun cocktails. Great place for a group outing or celebration!

Driving through…read morehere, you see the blight and the abandonment of this area of Indianapolis since the decline of manufacturing. Then again, it's not an uncommon story unfortunately- large parts of the city forgotten in terms of economic development but then suddenly needed during times of campaigning. Had taken Keystone and then Rural Street to get here, and the potholes are not kind. But, we had this place on our list and were determined to make it here at least once. Tlaolli stood out for its vegan offerings. Plenty of vegan taco options, birria (an absolute rarity to see vegan birria), and torta. They offer soy chorizo, jackfruit, and king oyster mushrooms as protein options. The exterior is colorful, and inside there are seating options. We had gotten our food to go, so I cannot comment too much on the service. Had placed our order online, and the food was ready within the estimated time in the order. We ordered the vegan birria tacos ($17.99), the vegan torta ($10.99 base but added soy chorizo, which was $3.99), and the no-no-no taco ($5.99). Our total with fees was approximately $45. Tlaolli offers outdoor seating, so when the weather is nicer this would be a good place to come. Next to the East Washington IPL branch, Tlaolli has a colorful green exterior with neon signage. Food: The food was very good. The proteins were nicely seasoned and juicy. The highlight for me was the birria tacos and the consome. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. 10/10.
