The food here is pretty good with big portions and lots of options, however, the service was absolutely terrible. We had a reservation, but it's still took them 40 minutes to seat us. It's a casual diner ambiance which is great for catching up with friends. Also, at the end, they charge for two extra juices that our group didn't order which was a little frustrating in addition to not telling us when they were up charging items.

First time trying here and I love it!! I shared the grand Platter which comes with a lot of food so I recommend ordering this is you want to share. The pancake was good, turkey sausage, and the eggs were good. Flavor food and quality. The service was exceptional !!!!! Vanessa was amazing and really made the experience good. She was very accommodating and paying and knew the menu and good options to choose. Very good server! Ask for her for your server. The ambiance was very cute with nice decor. Very modern with a nice bar. They have alcoholic drinks as well for brunch. It's very spacious inside and clean!! Highly suggest here!

This a good rendition of this chain restaurant. It was pretty busy on a Saturday morning, but I was by myself so I grabbed a table at the "bar" (not really a bar, just a counter where you can sit and eat). The portions are huge and the food very tasty. They also have mimosas.

Our server Mo was very attentive. She is very pleasant and helpful. The food was delicious, my husband, especially enjoyed his farmers market scramble and the quality of the fresh vegetables. We will definitely be back!

Enjoyed our breakfast in Indy - randomly picked this place near our hotel after dropping our kid off at college - I was crying in my food but it was tasty - ordered one pancake one egg over medium and one piece of bacon - not on the menu but they had no issue making my special order - husband had corned beef hash Benedict - which he said was exactly as expected, slightly salty, definitely tasty, would eat again - we will be back when we visit our son in Indy oh also knew how to make an espresso!

This place is so adorable inside. The service was perfect. They have quality tasty good food. I ordered the traditional pancakes with turkey sauce and eggs white. Their menu is huge and the prices are affordable. They have trendy decor with a cute nice-size bar area seating with a television to watch games. Huge menu with all types of option's. The restaurant is very accommodating to your health needs.

It was my first time having brunch here and I had a good experience. As soon as I entered I thought it looked cute inside... the colors of the wall, chairs etc. and there is a wall with a bunch of colorful eggs. We were greeted with a smile and got a table immediately. I heard they have good mimosas but I just got a coffee this time. I went with Eggs Benedict- the food didn't take long. It had about 4 slices of ham and everything was perfect. My side, French toast was just ok. Our server was friendly and her service was not rushed, but not slow either. Just right.

The Blueberry Mint drink was saccharine. The orange juice tasted like it was squeezed from piss. The fruits look old and were soured. The server delivered the ketchup and Cholula after we were already finished eating our tiny portions (see photo for scale). The chilaquiles skillet pictured was over $15. I lived in Arizona for several years and had chilaquiles for $12 that was double this size, and that's not even including a discussion about the quality of food. Thoroughly disappointing. Anyone who thinks this place is amazing is either ignorant or too easily pleased (aka college kids who yet haven't developed a sense of taste). Edit to add: This is the 314 N Delaware St location in Indianapolis, IN

I tried this place one day for lunch! The service was good but the food was soooo good!!!! The food was well seasoned, just the right temperature and you get a good portion!

First time in...I've always wanted to try. Promised my better half a birthday brunch so we decided to come here. Right off the bat, no acknowledgment waiting at the hostess area. Two people just walked by and didn't even say anything not even a someone will be with you or do you have a reservation. I get it's a busy environment but it only takes less than a min to smile and acknowledge patrons. The young gal had a very cold vibe anyway so probably glad she didn't say anything. The patrons behind me even said the same thing. A young man finally came over after 7 min of waiting and acknowledged us. Waited another 5-7 min for our table to be ready and yes we had a reservation. When we got seated our waitress was a young lady named Brooklyn, my apologies if wrong spelling. Very nice young lady and obviously busy. We ordered a pomegranate mimosa and regular coffee. Both decent but nothing exceptionally great. We waited another 7-10 to order, went with half order biscuits gravy, potato casserole dish, and blueberry crepes. Food was good just wished the potato and biscuits dish were hot not cold. You can tell it had sat for a few. Had it been hot, plated, and sent out immediately it would have been extremely delicious. We did have to ask for silverware. I still left a 22% tip because I know nowadays workers don't get paid much and rely on tips. Honestly it was ok. We probably wouldn't go back only because it's not like we have to have it again. Hopefully others have a better experience. I gave it a three based on the crepes and the waitress. Would have given a five had our food been hot.

We had a great breakfast here. Fantastic location in the heart of downtown. Staff were friendly and the food was fabulous. Decor was standard. If you're sat near the side door, maybe ask to move as the wind coming in from it is brutal especially on cold days. But overall, I give this location top marks.

Wild Eggs is a staple breakfast food place. I live super close and always find it to be a good place to meet friends. Today I got the breakfast burrito. It was stuffed with egg and slathered with cheese. The potatoes are my favorite. They're crispy and not mushy. Service was fast. This was my first time going on a weekday. This'll continue to be a go to breakfast place for sure.

Some friends and I decided to stop in here after church and were pleasantly surprised!! We sat down, ordered drinks and then after some deciding we ordered. Their menu is serious so it definitely took some time! As we waited some time for our food we noticed how cute the restaurant decor is and how much it matches the restaurant theme. Eggs and chicken theme stuff everywhere. After waiting a bit our friendly waitress brought our food out! Man oh man.. everything both looked amazing and tasted incredible. I ordered the country fried steak and it had an amazing bacon gravy on it. At first I was worried about a bacon gravy but the first bite alleviated that worry. The stuffed French toast was the other clear winner at the breakfast table. We will definitely be back here and would recommend it to other!

I've struggled with how to rate and review Goose the Market for a long time…read more I've struggled mightily. It's an Indianapolis icon in many ways. It's beloved. And listen, it's not the most wheelchair friendly place in the world. If you're a wheelchair user, you're in all likelihood not going to the cellar unless you're extraordinary with you're chair or you crawl. I remember attending a Yelp event here, and I just wrestled with these issues so much. It's not inaccessible - you can get in the door, though even the parking is a bit wonky and the curb-cuts a bit worn. This is an older building in an older neighborhood. So yeah, if you're a wheelchair user plan ahead. I am a wheelchair user. And I suppose I should knock off my usual 1-star for accessibility issues. But, I just can't do it. I, instead, choose to go 5-stars with my narrative disclaimer that there are accessibility issues here. But, my word. This is a great place and every single experience I've had with Goose the Market, including last night's Italian Film Festival, has been stellar whether I'm in their location or at an event they are catering. What is Goose the Market? First off, nearly everyone considers it one of the best - Indianapolis Monthly, Eater, Yelp, etc. Goose the Market offers a daily menu of sandwiches, soups, gelato, and small plates. It offers raw beef, pork, poultry, game, seafood, in-house made sausage/smoked meats, and more. It offers charcuterie - both in-house and from other producers. It offers farmstead cheeses, fresh produce, artisan breads, preserves, sauces, pickles, pasta, crackers, flours/grains, and a lot more. There's the cellar - Enoteca bar with Italian style wine by the glass and small plates (and it has all-ages seating). Goose the Market offers a wine of the month club, gift cards, catering, classes, daily specials, and more. What can I say? There are those places that are worth the effort. As a lifelong person with a disability, I long ago realized the world would never be perfectly accessible. It's never going to happen. I'll continue to work toward a more accessible world, though I'll also honor that there are those places where I feel welcome anyway. I feel welcome at Goose the Market, though I can't quite get the full experience. The service is exceptional, the products quite awesome, the environment warm and friendly, and there's simply no doubt it's one of Indy's treasures. So yeah, five stars. With a disclaimer that those with mobility impairments may need to plan ahead or have a companion along. Who wants to be my companion?

You can also park in the gravel lot across the road. It was raining pretty heavily so we got wet but wasn't a far dash. The counter is like any deli with the items displayed in the cold case. You can browse the various freezers or shelves for items like picked veggies, canned fish or spreads. It was fun to see that you could buy everything needed for a picnic or impromptu lunch! We got sandwiches to go as well as locally baked cookies. I tried the recommendation for a vegetarian sandwich. It was nice and crusty and had some good flavor. I might create my own next time, but theirs was good and had lots of flavor! My friend was new to Indianapolis and really liked the options. She said she would be back and so will we. They also do tasting events and other things so we might check out one of their offerings. A fun local spot!

The space is big and fun, with a large dining room, an old-school video arcade game, interesting art, and a big screen playing movies, which adds to the laid-back, quirky vibe. It's counter service with clear menu boards on the wall, making ordering easy. I had the cheesy jalapeño grits with bacon and an egg and... my goodness. So incredibly delicious. One friend ordered the same grits but swapped in fried catfish instead of bacon--also a fantastic choice. Our third went with a classic plate with eggs and bacon, and let me tell you, the bacon is thick and plentiful. We ordered a side of fries for the table and there were more than enough to share. Self-serve coffee with all the fixings is a nice touch, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Fun atmosphere, great food, solid portions--definitely will be back.

We were greeted right away and looked over the menu a bit before ordering. My husband ordered the country breakfast with chicken (definitely the way to go) and I ordered the cheesy jalapeño grits with bacon. We each got a cup for water and I ordered a coffee, excited because I saw ahead of going that it was self-serve (like at Cafe Patachou where I can get as many coffees as I like without having to wait for our server to come check on us first). However, the self serve coffee excitement was short-lived after seeing that they only offered half and half as creamer (I'm lactose intolerant) and the two coffee carafes were not labeled for what was inside (decaf? medium roast? you'll never know!) and then one was completely empty and never refilled during our visit. The water station also was not ever refilled during our visit, so we were not able to get refills after filling up our cups the first time. It took a couple of tries to find a table we could sit at because you seat yourself, but several had not been cleaned after other guests left and had food and drinks spilled on them. There were definitely enough staff members there to be able to clean them in between customers, so we weren't sure why they were left that way. We ended up sitting in the middle of the room towards the front, across from the clown art wall, which made for interesting conversation as we looked through everything. When the food came out I was impressed with the portions, but I had no flavor whatsoever to my cheesy jalepeno grits. The egg and bacon were good, but not enough to make it a good dish and I would not order it again. And I love savory breakfast and grits in general, so it was a real bummer. My husband's dish was worth the visit though. It was a huge portion size and we honestly would just split it if we came back and ordered it. It was so savory, seasoned perfectly, and juicy. One of the best breakfast dishes I have tried recently! I really debated between 3-4 stars for this, but my dish was a flop, the lack of cleanliness for the seating area, the lackluster self-serve coffee station, and not refilling the beverages ultimately scored a 3 star review for me. I would come back and try something else though, or split the country chicken breakfast because it was really good. Hopefully next time the beverages won't be empty!

The ambiance is old fashioned in my mind, but very cute and suitable for a sandwich place. I ordered the Milanesa de Polo Sandwich, which is a chicken tenderloin sandwich, and a side of the fried sweet potatoes. The food actually came out in a decent amount of time,so I was shocked and surprised, but very pleased at the same time. As expected, the food was incredible and terrific like I thought it would be. The sandwich was huge and had to use a knife and fork to eat it. The fried sweet potatoes were excellent and had a nice texture. They were very flavorful. The sandwich tasted amazing and was one of the best chicken tenderloin sandwiches I have ever had since living in Indy. Now I see why everyone loves this place so much, because the sandwiches are high quality and just so perfect!! Our server was wonderful and gave great recommendations on the menu items. Her recommendations were spot on and everyone enjoyed their sandwiches. The steak is also incredible, so I would highly recommend the Lolo Supreme sandwich. Don Juan V's sandwiches is a wonderful mom and pop business in Indy that is worth checking out if you are looking for a fresh good sandwich. It was a floral kind of sweet with the addition of a hint of rose. The pink foam colored with strawberry and beet powders adds to the overall cutesy effect! I also got a cocoa brownie ($2.50, about a 3-inch square) and that is surely chocolatey. I didn't find it to be too sweet but it doesn't lack in that department either.
