I always quite enjoy a visit to Parlor Doughnuts for a sweet treat and midday perk up. It's sure good that I can walk here from my home. The storefront has a few tables to sit at and a large display case of all the donuts. Counter service to order is always pretty quick and easy. I like their rewards program in their app, which occasionally has freebies to entice you to come in. Not that I need it, but it sure helps. This most recent visit I got the local feature, which changes by the store and is supposed to be different for each store. This one had Oreo Cheesecake, which combines two of my favorite desserts. So of course I had to get it. I think I got the last one in the display case! They always have more donuts in the back though, as they make more throughout the day. A standard donut here is $3.95 at the time of posting, and dietary accommodating donut (vegan/gluten free, and keto donuts) are $4.25, so the prices are kept pretty fair in my opinion. They also have mini donuts which are a modest price (that I already forgot). There's also doggy donuts for $2.95! Coffee here always hits. I like to get the Mayan Mocha syrup in my latte, which is chocolate and cinnamon and too good not to get. This most recent visit I learned that they have whole bean coffee, and you can get a discount on your next can if you bring the old one back. Our first experience with Parlor Donuts was in Richmond IN. They are on the chocolate trail. Decided to give this location a try. The doughnuts didn't seem as fresh as the ones we had in Richmond. While the service was ok , being a bit more friendly or upbeat would go along way. Looking around the restaurant was a bit grubby in places. Trash was completely full and needed emptying. They are one of the few places that offer gluten free donuts. They are cake donuts with semi customizable glazes and toppings. They recently took away several gluten free options which was really disappointing. The breakfast tacos are very appetizing. The service is good but often slow. I stopped by Parlor Doughnuts for coffee and had my heart set on a Boston cream. Very aesthetically pleasing cafe. I was greeted by the delightful Sawyer, who (very kindly, but tragically ) informed me that Boston cream isn't a staple item -- it's seasonal. He helped me choose a similar option, the churro doughnut, which turned out to be a solid pick. Not a bad substitute at all. That said, small suggestion to the powers that be: please bring back the Boston cream... or at least her cousin, the Bavarian cream. All in all, the coffee was great, the service was excellent, and the experience was warm and welcoming. I'll definitely be back again -- hopefully during Boston cream season next time. read more

The coconut cream mini is one of the best donuts I've had in a long time. The minis even come with your choice of dip - chocolate, vanilla, or maple. Does it need a dip? No. Do I absolutely want a dip every time I eat a donut now? Yes. I ordered for delivery and wasn't sure what to get so I just ordered a variety. The mini donuts are larger than your typical donut hole and honestly are the perfect size. I also got a regular-sized donut and ended up splitting it in half. The donuts are "layered" donuts and lean more towards a croissant than a regular donut, but they are light and fluffy and delicious. The flavor profiles all sounded amazing and I had a hard time choosing. The maple pecan was good, but the coconut cream mini was even better and my favorite of the bunch. My son getting his braces taken off coincided with a Yelp Elite event here, so I did what a good mother does and took my son for sugary sweets to celebrate. My 2 free donuts were possibly some of the best donuts I've ever had. The crisp outsides paired with the fluffy inside texture, really made the French Toast donut heavenly. Paired with a Carmel Latte, I had to save my decadent Chocolate Chocolate donut for later. These donuts are sizely and sweet. I opted for Oatmilk in my latte, and it was perfection. Not too sweet, so it was the perfect compliment to my donut. My son can typically out eat me in sweets, but his S'mores donut was so rich and filling that he also had to save his second donut for later. He said that both the S'mores and Cookies and Creme were very good. I saw someone else get an Acai bowl, and it looked so delicious that I'll be sure to stop in for one of those next time. This place is super cute and fun! It's in a strip mall sort of so there's businesses around it. It's a good place to sit, relax and do some work on your computer if you like. It's pretty quiet and the coffee smells so good. There's a few tables of four, a bar table by the window that looks out and holds up to 7 people. There's also a section with comfy chairs to relax in. The donut selection was fantastic. It seems like these donuts are made out of croissants?? But i can't be for certain. Either way, they were buttery, soft, flaky and so so good. Parlor Donuts on 805 W 10th St spits into your food. I came here and got poor service. They made my food wrong on purpose. I asked for a sausage egg and cheese on a croissant and they put just egg in the sandwich and nothing else. I then went out of my way to go back and ask for my food to be done the correct way and they did it wrong on purpose n put jelly and spit in my food. Instead of lashing out i just then asked for a refund n they acted like they refunded my order but didn't actually. So i had to go back the next day and get it situated by another worker. In the end I didn't eat anything and I don't recommend going there to get food because you could be eating spit of the workers that work there. They just recently opened two new locations in Venice, Florida, McKinney, Texas and one opening soon in Columbus, Georgia! They're known for their layered donuts. They're light and crispy on the outside. They have lots of flavors to choose from. They even have mini donuts also. The strawberry shortcake donut one of the employees said was one of her favorites was delicious! The French toast is the most popular. They also have a few other breakfast items that aren't donuts. Açaí bowls, tacos, avocado toast, and breakfast sandwiches. It's hard to choose one of those when you're staring at such beautiful and tempting donuts freshly made! You'll work your way down a line of beautifully displayed donuts ranging from strawberry shortcake and maple bacon to honey and raspberry pistachio. We tried three of the donuts and the honey was the star of the show for me. It's simpler in terms of toppings but the flavor was amazing. It really let the dough shine. I was surprised to see that they also offer some savory options like breakfast tacos and biscuit sandwiches - I'll have to try those on another visit. They also have a great coffee program. Every time I say I am going to start eating better, a place like this pops up. I visited this shop during their soft opening. They have a modest sized parking lot that it shares with the other businesses in the strip mall that it is located. There is a dining area available to chill and relax while you eat your treat. The dining area has a small lounge area with a couch, some tables and bar seating along the front window that overlooks the parking lot. The staff there is very helpful, welcoming and friendly. They serve donuts juices, and coffees. They also have some merchandise on a shelf, including shirts and hats that you can purchase. There donuts are not your typical round donuts with a hole in the middle. They are what they call layered donuts. They are like a mix of a funnel cake and a cinnamon bun. What makes them unique from each other is the toppings. They have a wide selection of donuts to choose from. I went with the lemon, the strawberry shortcake, the carnival and the pistatio raspberry. I also got a brown sugar frozen coffee to wash it down. Oh well there goes my diet. I like there donuts. Would I give them the title of the best I have ever had....probably not. But they are really good. They are very fluffy and tasty. You can really taste the unique flavors. The service there is first class. It is like bitting into a cloud with a rainbow. I will admit that the donuts are a bit on the higher end when it comes to price. But, once you get past that, I highly recommend checking out this fresh new, trendy donut/coffee shop. read more

My partner and I typically go out of our way to drive to Bloomington for an hour just to get their donuts so you can imagine how ecstatic we were when their spot in downtown Indy opened up!! We visited their place in downtown yesterday and it was nice and clean - nice decor/ambience. They are right next door to one of my fave "chipotle-style" sushi joint SUSHI BOSS! Anyhow, the staff at Parlor Doughnuts are nice and friendly and as always, donuts are top notch! We got the lemonade, honey glazed, turtle cheesecake and French toast! Same quality... same yumminess! They also had some other non-donut items on their menu for this branch which was a surprise. We plan on trying those out too and I promise to let you guys know the verdict.
