Had these delivered for a work pitch in and they were delicious. I cut them in half so people could try multiple flavors and it was a hit! Delivery fee was $11 which is a bit steep but it was convenient and they arrived within 20 minutes of ordering, I work close by but I was still surprised at the quickness! Parlor Doughnuts is fantastic donut place near Downtown Indy that puts a creative touch on donuts. I came here for an Yelp elite perk one day to pick up a couple free donuts, but ended up getting a couple more donuts and matcha latte. The ambiance is very nice and eclectic with black and white title floors and unique Nick nacks displayed all over the shop. The menu is displayed on huge big screen TVS hanging from the ceiling so you can easily read the items. The variety of flavors of donuts is incredible and very creative. They do have gluten free donuts as well which I did end up getting a couple gluten free donuts: S'mores and salted caramel. They were fantastic and incredible! My two free donuts were the raspberry pistachio and peanut butter and chocolate flavors. They were wonderful as well. The texture of the donuts was very moist and soft, which made the donut more savory and enjoyable to eat. The glaze on the donuts was also just the right amount and not over powering so that you did not taste pure sugar on the donut and can actually enjoy the flavor and taste of the donut that you picked such as salted caramel or S'mores. The S'mores donut was smoky and tasted just like an actual S'mores. The service was wonderful at Parlor Doughnuts. The gentleman who took my order and waited on me was very friendly and professional. He walked me through the flavors of donuts and the options for gluten free donuts. He took very good care of my order and displayed wonderful customer service during the entire transaction. I also picked up a matcha latte to drink which was OK and tasted fine but not the best matcha latte I had ever had, so if I come back here, I will most likely not order the matcha latte. Parlor Doughnuts is my new favorite place for donuts and would encourage anyone to come here and check out the donuts because you will be impressed. It's important to know that they definitely are a special type of doughnut and, in sharing them at work, people have mixed reviews (some think it's too heavy, more thick croissant than donut) but generally it's a crowd pleaser! I appreciate the size of them so you can easily cut them in half to share. The variety is also impressive. Update: Husband drove me over for an early morning fix. Had a fall special Apple Pie donut. Amazing. Full of tiny dice apple pie filling and surrounded by the layered fresh donut. Came here with a friend for a quick caffeine fix and I was happy we did. The minute I walked in I couldn't help but take in the cute eclectic vibes. Plenty of seating inside and we were quickly greeted the minute we walked in. As I scanned the menu, I was also pleasantly surprised with how reasonable the prices were. This place also serves some breakfast items outside of just doughnuts, such as avocado toast, which I was surprised about! I actually called on my commute to work,and asked how long the wait would be to place an order. Sawyer said no wait at all, and asked me what I wanted. I had never been to Parlor before and asked him to put something together for me for our office. He was so nice and totally professional. He did an excellent job with his choices and our office shared the best doughnuts that we have ever ordered. I would highly recommend this location for anyone needing them for work or just a quick treat. We first tried Parlor Donuts at Panama City Beach FL and were seriously glad we found one here in Indy! You deserve a guilty pleasure once in awhile....at least that's what I tell myself. lol The choices are the same as before but there are some holiday additions - really liked the Holiday Custard which tastes like eggnog. A couple of our favorites are the Coconut Cream filled and Strawberry Shortcake, but we haven't tried anything that we didn't like so whatever you choose you can't go wrong. Best donuts in indy now by default as the only craft donut shop in city at this time, unheard of for city of this size-embarrassing one could say. Used to have rocket 88 (amazing, owner shut it to focus on other projects) and general American in fountain square area but both closed down. Other donut shops to open in town are not "craft" donuts but more or less par for the course traditional donut shops. These donuts are croissant donuts and many flavors featured. Mt favorite is strawberry shortcake. Highly recommend visit to this shop. Coffee is a roaster from Evansville where this shop originated. Holy moly! These doughnuts are DELICIOUS! So light and airy but also has the perfect amount of little crunch on the outside. They have 35 flavors, which made it hard to choose! My sister picked them up so I can't personally speak to the interior of the location or the service but she said it was clean and the employees were nice and helpful! I had her get us the strawberries and cream, carnival, honey and churro. My favorite has been the strawberries and cream but I haven't tried the churro yet.
