I love Pana Donuts, and this location is great. They always have my favorites available when I stop in. Today I was here with three friends, it was the first visit for one of them. We all ordered donuts and various fruit drinks with boba. Even though it was a very busy Saturday morning the donut case was full and service was fast and friendly. There were tables available and all were clean. We all enjoyed our donuts and drinks. There were two larger vehicles parked just outside the entrance, which meant customers had to squeeze by to get in the door. I'm not sure why parking is allowed there as it is an inconvenience for customers walking in or out.

Darn good donuts. And the staff are super friendly. Absolutely must stop in if you're in Carmel. The donuts are fresh and there's a good variety without being overwhelming.

So many colorful donuts! I love Pana donuts and this was my first visit to this location in Carmel. There were lots of sweet options late in the morning. Prices are really reasonable at $1.53 per donut. The cafe area has plenty of small tables plus a sitting area. An early Christmas tree with lights stands between tables. I had a sour dough glaze donut, which I swore I was only going to eat half. But I ate the whole thing. The donut was light and sweet. My husband had the red velvet donut, which the clerk told him was a popular choice. He complained because the donut was a tad dry. The entrance is a little wonky. They have a covered portico indirectly in front of the entrance where cars can park to get quick pick-up. So if you want to go in, you have to maneuver around cars that have their engines running. It doesn't seem very safe, but I guess it's convenient for people in a hurry.

    Yum yum

When I say these are the best donuts ever!! I mean it & I swear.. w/ Longs being closed I needed a temporary substitute and these did not disappoint. Service wasn't bad and the sitting area was quite relaxing.. the boba mango tea was yum aswelllll

I was in the area and so I decided to stop here at Pana due to me enjoying their donuts. Surprisingly I told myself before going in I am only buying one raspberry filled donut even though these donuts are very addicting. As I walked in I was greeted and customer service was great. The prices are very reasonable and it is space in the store to where you can sit down to enjoy your items. This location has a lot of space for seating. I stuck to the script and only got one donut to go but of course as I was driving I wish I would've gotten a half a dozen. The kronuts are really delicious if you have never had one.

What a lovely staff. Donuts are awesome here. Just stopped by early in the am to grab 2 dozen for hubby's and his co workers. Plenty to choose from and the store was very clean. Until next time Pana. Keep up the great job your staff is doing!!!!!

I stopped in for a quick treat after my daughter's karate graduation. All I can say is they've earned their 4.9 rating. The donuts were fresh and still warm. I chose a bear claw which is yeast donut with apple pie filling inside it and they cut the side of the do it before frying to math it look like toes. My daughter got a powdered donut and she said it was two thumbs up. It's an old bank turned into a donut shop....your think that would be weird. It they did a great job with the interior. It's clean and inviting. Service was super fast and they are helpful if you don't know the menu. I'll be back to try new donuts and a drink.

It's a delicious yeast donut with egg, cheese, and bacon. It was so good!

Pana donuts are some of the best donuts around. I've tried the others, and there are great options out there! I went there for the first time a year ago and was very impressed. They have added breakfast sandwiches and Bobba tea. Ask them to put your breakfast sandwich on a donut instead of toast or a bagel for a delicious savory/sweet combo for a great new flavor. The team at Pana is friendly, courteous, and quick to deliver the taste treat that you want.

Window and tall table seating areas! Spacious and clean!

I will be back! These donuts are light fluff and delicious; all while being perfectly moist! They are well filled and fresh! The milk tea was also fresh! The people who waited on us were so so so kind! They were helpful, respectful, and efficient! This is a spacious place great for meeting with friends or getting work done! Love the seating options! It was very clean!

This third time I was picking up 18 pastries - 3 different types- all delicious and superbly baked AND a cake. WOW! The cake was amazingly beautiful! delicious and decorated exquisitely with huge intricate frosting flowers and leaves. I'm very very happy with my order- they even helped me carry it to the car. This bakery made my special family party a huge success, everyone enjoyed the food and remarked on how delicious it looked and tasted. Thank you SO much for making the event extra special

The raspberry pistachio croissant? Oh. My. God. This thing had me in a chokehold. Flaky, buttery layers with the perfect balance of tart raspberry and rich pistachio. It wasn't just good -- it was write-home-about-it good. The kind of pastry that makes you pause mid-bite and question every other croissant you've ever had. The second was a croissant sandwich (I wish I could remember the name!), but the way those flavors paired together? Let's just say it was a full culinary experience. Savory, balanced, indulgent -- you get the hint. Every bite just made sense. Now here's the part that really says something: I grew up on the East Coast where authentic French bakeries are everywhere and the cultural standard is high. I know a proper croissant. And this? This was better. Yes, I said it. We even had the chance to speak with the owner, who was incredibly warm and genuine. He checked in to make sure we enjoyed everything -- which we clearly did, considering we left with boxes to take home. This place isn't just a pastry shop. It's an experience. And trust me, it will be a topic of discussion in our house for days. Run. Don't walk.

Yesterday, I decided that I would not be cooking dinner and instead opted to order pizza and dessert to be picked up on my way home. This is such a cute, quaint little shop located in a tiny strip mall next to a gas station. So very unassuming, yet quite impressive. I loved the two cute yellow tables and chairs out on the sidewalk as well as the Sinatra that was playing when I entered the shop. I was greeted warmly and let me say how much I value a pleasant and genuine interaction like that. Someone came to the front of the store from the kitchen in the back, and she too greeted me with a very welcoming and warm smile. This fact alone makes me want to return and support this place of business. My pizzas were prepared fresh and handed to me hot out of the oven. The deserts, an assortment of 3 different kinds of cookies as well as two slices of cake, were kept separate and cold. My husband loved the pizza (he is somewhat of a connoisseur) and I enjoyed it as well. The carrot cake was a bit dense for my liking and the pistachio ricotta was decadent. My husband really enjoyed these sweet treats as a night cap! I loved the cookies. I ordered the Peanut Butter Brownie Swirl cookie, the Pistachio Chocolate Crunch cookie, and two of the Pistachio Thumbprint cookies. My personal favorite was the Pistachio Chocolate Crunch cookie. It had a great contrast in texture with the soft-baked cookie being perfectly complemented by the crunch of the pistachio pieces, and it wasn't overly sweet. I'll definitely be back to try more cookies, cakes and pastries in the future! They also carry some authentic imported Italian products, such as pomodoro sauce.

Much like the downtown Indy location, Lemon's is technically located within the Carmel Needler's. However, Lemon's has its own separate entrance and storefront while existing on the east end of Needler's. You can access Needler's directly from Lemon's Bakery Cafe. Lemon's has a small counter with display cases for its baked goods. Like the downtown Indy location, they offer sweets from Noblesville's Rosie's and they offer a variety of local coffees and a rather extensive list of coffee options. There's also a relatively small dining area with booths appropriate for 2-3 people. I found this area not entirely wheelchair friendly, though I could make it work. My best option was sitting at the end of a row of booths which put me pretty much close to the door on a rather chilly day. The employee working was super quiet but friendly and helpful. I ordered two chocolate frosted donuts, they have donuts, and I was honestly a bit stunned they were only $2 total. They do have higher-priced items, of course. The donuts were fresh and delicious and definitely hit the spot on a rainy, dreary day here in Indy. I appreciated that the doors were automatic doors and that there was accessible parking directly in front of the entrance. I also appreciated being able to check out Needler's, though to grab a cart you do have to go down to the Needler's entrance. While I wouldn't consider Lemon's a destination bakery, I wouldn't hesitate to stop in while in the area and this has become a nice little strip center with Needler's, a CVS, Roots Burger Bar, Rad's, and a couple other fun businesses to check out here. Business was steady in the few minutes I was here and it seems to be a stop for neighborhood families. If you're in the area and craving some baked goods Lemon's is a convenient, affordable option that also supports local!
