Driven by this place many times and just thgt it was a business that had closed permanently, then one day I saw a line. So looked them up on Yelp and saw their hours, 5-11. I got there at 5:05 on a Wednesday, there was a short line. A friend familiar with Tim's said get there early or some items would be sold out. I bought an apple fritter for me; I also had additional fritter options of blueberry and cherry. I also tried a basic yeast donut. The yeast donut was good, definitely just made. Do I prefer longs? Yes. But for the drive I will go to Tim's. The fritter was excellent. It had chunks of Apple. Fried just right. I will go back, I wish they had more donuts so they could stay open longer; but I understand it's a business. read more

I read a review on here that said "songs have been written about these donuts" and I fully believe that. Some of the best I've ever had, hands down. Warm and cloud-like, people line up for these donuts and wait patiently for them to come out of the fryer. The folks here are super nice and the selection is great, although I typically go for the classic glazed yeast. As a pro tip: you can call in the night before (before 6pm) and place your order for pick-up. They require this for anything more than 1 (maybe 2) dozen, and you get to skip the line and walk to the register. Same delicious donuts, still warm and cloudlike, but with less of a wait! read more

My favorite donut shop in the area. Mom & pop style shop. They make donuts the right way. They open early in the morning and are usually sold out around 11am. There is almost always a long line out the door. My favorite donuts are the blueberry fritter, apple fritter, Bavarian cream filled, maple bar, and blueberry cake donut. read more

I was so excited to have it again and be the second in line after 3 years. It taste like store purchased Donuts! i stop going years ago for the reason because they would run out! I will stick with Longs and Parlors read more

The donuts are amazing. You have to get there early because there will be a line out the door. It's just what you would expect from this sweet shop of deliciousness. read more

The best donuts in Indiana by far! I've never had anything I didn't like... and I'm a cop so I know good donuts when I see them.

You're gonna wanna visit Tim's Bakery when they open, if possible. Or as close to opening as you can. They open at 5 a.m. I visited 15 minutes before they close (so, around 10:45 a.m.), and there were literally maybe nine donuts left. The lady behind the counter told me that they stay open until the last donut is gone, and I really believe that they do, because after I bought my single donut and there were eight donuts left, I saw three other people come in and buy donuts. As I was walking out to my car, I saw a young boy and his mother enter the donut shop, and then they quickly came back out to the parking lot and the boy was crying because they didn't have any donuts. They don't play here at Tim's Bakery. When the donuts are gone, they're gone. I can see why Tim's Bakery is a happenin' bakery here in McCordville. The single donut I managed to snag was delicious. It was a soft cinnamon roll-donut hybrid of some sort, with layers of cinnamon and sugar, and covered with a thin vanilla glaze. The kind of donut you want to eat by peeling it in layers, and then licking your fingers after each bite. I don't even know what this donut was called. I probably would not have chosen this one if there were others available, but this was one of nine donuts behind the case, so it was destiny. Tim's Bakery looks unassuming from the outside. You might even drive by it if you're not looking for it. When you enter the donut shop, it looks cozy, but this is not a place to stay and enjoy your donut. There might be one or two tables available, but the vibe is more like get-your-sweets-and-get-out, in the best way. But anyway, donuts are best enjoyed sitting in your car, scarfing them like a fiend, right? Or at home. However you like to enjoy your donuts. read more

Great staple in town. Donuts are ideal with plenty of options. Service is always smiling and they work well together. Not the kind of environment you want to sit and eat- instead grab and go! read more

Tim's is a stole of McCordsville. Amazing donuts! Very well established local business.

BEST DONUTS IN THE INDY METRO AREA PERIOD! Yes I said it. I love donuts so much! They're probably my #1 guilty pleasure and Tim's is easily my favorite place to go. Everyone is so nice and welcoming and although it's one, small building, they pack a PUNCH of sweet goodness in anytime you decide to enjoy that day! If you disagree with Tim's not being the best, it's only because you haven't made the trip to McCordsville for a dozen yet! But when you do, you'll know it's worth it! read more

THE BEST DONUTS IN THE CITY! I don't care what anyone has to say, Tim's Bakery is the BEST! Hands down! One of my favorites, but also my kid's favorite donuts! So good! read more

My mother loved this place. Most of the places I try now are because of her Tim's , as most of know is a staple in Indiana. People say we are known for corn but it should be donuts as hard as we get about whose is best. Therefore, I will not speak on who's best but simply say Tim's is perfection ! I get sensitive to too much sugar or oils but my body tingled from how satisfying and enjoyable these donuts were. The drive in the early crisp morning in the heart of winter, creates a nostalgia you didn't know you needed. The staff was 1 person at the counter w/ the crew in the back whipping up magic, serving the fiends in an order that allowed for everything to stay fresh and warm. The crowd came in as if they had a number assigned to them, knowing when to arrive, keeping the traffic a breezy flow. Claps & snaps to you! The inside is small and grunge to me. The beaming fluorescent light, old school light wood tables and chairs to sit but from the looks of it, people grab and go be fat, happy and greedy in private. I got an assortment but my favorites were the buttermilk sticks, fritters and the apple turnover. I don't like turnovers but this ish was so good child! I will always support Tim's going forward. Please try them for yourself! read more

This place is close to home and in my opinion has the best donuts in the city. I love making early morning trips here to get them fresh. Prices are great and the donuts are always amazing. My favorites are the glazed yeast, butterfly donuts and twists, but you can't go wrong with any of the flavored donuts either. read more

Tim's bakery maybe my biggest enemy and also the love of my life! I have tried a few different things from there and it is by far the best doughnut I have ever tasted because the donuts are so good. I tried blueberry muffin as well and that was 10/10! it's a busy place so be prepared to wait and it's small so be prepared to possibly wait outside. I never go in and get a lot. The staff was super amazing the last time and gave me a few donuts so that I wouldn't have to wait! This will definitely be my sweet treat when I am not dieting. read more

Listen. The donut debate in Indianapolis is real. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people argue about the best. I can confidently tell you that Tim's is the winner. If you want to try them out, please don't misunderstand that you need to be there as close to opening (5 am) as possible. They WILL sell out. I can't even explain the taste of the donuts. They just taste like they're made with love. I can't compare them to other bakeries because they're not the same. Do yourself a favor and make your way to Mccordsville. read more

Once again, an incredible experience. Parking is tricky but the smell for outside will guide your way! They had fresh donuts coming out as I was waiting in line. There were several people who mentioned ordering ahead which is so smart! (Call the day before.) The service was great! Everyone was so friendly! Oh and that blueberry fritter! To die for! It didn't even make it home. The crispiness and the icing and blueberries- perfection! read more

Words can't express how I feel about Tim's bakery. Hands down, this I the best bakery to go to. I love their donuts and turnovers are bomb. These donuts will change your life. These donuts are everything you'd want from a donut. Soft just melt in your mouth not overly sweet but absolutely delicious. I've tried a lot of the different flavors you can't go wrong with a nice yeast but the cherry and blueberry fritter are my favorite. We've been customer's at Tim's Bakery since 2002, when we first found them. They. Are. THE. BEST. If you don't believe me, just go there and try a BUTTERFLY, or their donut holes, or Bavarian cream filled, or the tiger tail, or plain yeast. It's hard to pick a favorite! I've never been disappointed or dissatisfied once. This weekend was no different. They went above & beyond to help me get our church ladies all set for our annual Ladies Retreat. Quality matters, and you can taste it. Customers matter, and you can feel it. These donuts are melt-in-your-mouth spectacular. read more

So some have said Tim's is better than Longs, so I tried to give an unbiased opinion and I say Tim's is good but not better than Longs- sorry, but hey if you're near Mccordsville Tim's is the way to go. Staff was nice, donuts good and fresh, coffee was good coffee. They did have ground coffee and popcorn for sale, which is nice. It probably took me 15 or more minutes, but it seemed like they had a few big orders so I don't know what the general wait time is. It's worth a try, better than Speedway read more

You will not leave Tim's hungry or broke! This place delivers great donuts at great prices! Tim's is tucked away in the McCordsville/Fortville area. Drive too fast down the road and you'll miss it, and you'll be upset you did! I usually give a polite smile when people say, "You've gotta try these donuts!" I grew up on Long's Bakery so a dry donut with crumbly glaze was not going to cut it! So when we moved to McCordsville, I skeptically gave Tim's a try, more for my kids since it was a quick stop right around the corner. The first bite took all my doubts away. Soft pillows of heaven bathed in deliciously sweet glaze! I was hooked. I now make it a point to drive past, otherwise, I'm ordering by the dozen and will be in a sugar frenzy before noon. I always get donut holes for the kids, twists for my husband, and the cheesecake chocolate donut for myself. Yup! A yeast donut dipped in chocolate and then cheesecake is stuffed in the middle! They take cash or card, closed Sundays, and sell out! read more

Hate to be that guy, but the quality of the donuts, while very good, are simply not worth the wait. Without being Long's or another Indianapolis staple it's just lazy to not revise your setup to accommodate one of the fastest growing cities in North Indy. Additionally, there is nothing stopping a buffalo herd of 400 pounders from buying up all the donuts when you've waited patiently in line. No system, a ton of wasted opportunity here. read more

After a visit to the McCorsdville license branch, I decided to stop here since it was so close. I've heard good things about the place and this was my first visit. The signage is small and possible to miss if you're not looking or distracted by a phone call. As a result, I drove past it the first time. There was a line curving around the building. I probably waited 15 minutes before placing my order. Since I went late in the morning, I just missed trying the apple fritter. The customer in front of me ordered the last 2. I got yeast, holes, and a twisted pastry. They were all tasty. I'll try again...earlier in the morning. This is a good substitute since Long's is so far from Fishers. Tim's is close AND they take cards! Woo! read more

Normally there's a line extending around the building but today I was able to just walk right in. I ordered two yeast, two chocolate donut holes and two lemon jellies.
