He ordered a cappuccino. He enjoyed his as well. After we walked around for two and a half hours looking at everything and buying our items we went back for the garlic bread with cream cheese, some sweet treats and we made the best decisions picking them up on our way out. The ladies were so nice and ready to help. Great selection. I really like the presentation of the baked goods. Very well lit and they all are well described. We definitely will be making another trip there. Can't wait to eat our apple tart thingy tonight! I'm sure it's going to be delicious!

Very tasty little bakery inside of Saraga! Their bakery items are very pretty, but we have noticed that some of the offerings (like the stuffed donuts) do not really have a taste to them besides sugar- which is fine if you're just wanting a quick sugar rush, but disappointing if you're actually wanting to try an ube stuffed donut and then don't get any ube flavor at all. Their display offerings are very good and always taste like what they say they should. I've never tried any savory pastries from them, but I want to on my next visit. They have coffee, hot chocolate, frappes, smoothies, lemonades, etc as well. The tiramisu latte is amazing and I get it every time I go since it's always when it's fall/winter, but an iced coffee or lemonade sounds so good once the weather gets warm again. Plan your visit for early in the day before their pastries get bought up! They stay very busy and our last visit was late in the evening to coincide with grocery shopping in Saraga so we could take everything straight home to the fridge. They were very picked over, but I got a slice of pound cake to snack on with my latte and a load of milk bread. The milk bread is a family favorite, so I recommend trying that out if you've never had it before. They also sell some super cute "accessories" on top of the display case and I bought "Happy Birthday" candles for my husband's birthday earlier this month from them, as well as some that said "I Love You" for Valentine's Day.

This place touts itself as having the "best macaron this side of the Atlantic" as well as having…read morethe macaron flavors listed on the website in French, so needless to say, expectations were extremely high for Union Baking Co. to have an excellent authentic French macaron. It's worth noting that this isn't a place you just walk in -- you have to place an order online, via Facebook message or by phone first, then set up a time to pick them up. I placed my order via email, which was a fast and easy process. I placed an order for four flavors -- vanille, chocolat, citron and pistache. The pistache was by far my favorite! I couldn't believe that it tasted almost exactly like the pistache macaron I had in France at Laduree! My only complaint would be that, although the texture of the cookie part of this macaron was excellent, the filling was a little runny. It appeared that these may have been freshly made, so giving them an hour or two for the filling to firm up probably would have fixed that very minor issue. Although I didn't think the vanille, chocolat and citron macarons were as close to those same flavors of macarons I sampled in France, they were all good and after sampling them, I wished I had placed an order for all of the flavors they had. It appeared that Union Baking Co. is more of a catering/custom order company, but they were happy to fill my tiny 4-pack order. I am usually more interested in spontaneously stopping in a place and getting macarons immediately than in waiting for an order, but if you're fine with waiting a few days or you need a customized/large order of a variety of macarons, this is the place to order from!

The Macrons went over extremely well and my wife (and our kids) enjoyed them immensely. They were very high quality, fresh, and flavorful. I'll be looking forward to ordering more in the future.

This third time I was picking up 18 pastries - 3 different types- all delicious and superbly baked AND a cake. WOW! The cake was amazingly beautiful! delicious and decorated exquisitely with huge intricate frosting flowers and leaves. I'm very very happy with my order- they even helped me carry it to the car. This bakery made my special family party a huge success, everyone enjoyed the food and remarked on how delicious it looked and tasted. Thank you SO much for making the event extra special

The raspberry pistachio croissant? Oh. My. God. This thing had me in a chokehold. Flaky, buttery layers with the perfect balance of tart raspberry and rich pistachio. It wasn't just good -- it was write-home-about-it good. The kind of pastry that makes you pause mid-bite and question every other croissant you've ever had. The second was a croissant sandwich (I wish I could remember the name!), but the way those flavors paired together? Let's just say it was a full culinary experience. Savory, balanced, indulgent -- you get the hint. Every bite just made sense. Now here's the part that really says something: I grew up on the East Coast where authentic French bakeries are everywhere and the cultural standard is high. I know a proper croissant. And this? This was better. Yes, I said it. We even had the chance to speak with the owner, who was incredibly warm and genuine. He checked in to make sure we enjoyed everything -- which we clearly did, considering we left with boxes to take home. This place isn't just a pastry shop. It's an experience. And trust me, it will be a topic of discussion in our house for days. Run. Don't walk.

5 Stars - Korean Fried Chicken, Boba, and a Surprise Lesson About Crystal Pearls…read more This was my second visit, and I was so excited to dig in that I completely forgot to take photos before eating. By the time I remembered, I had already finished most of the chicken and drank over half of my matcha milk tea! On my first visit, I tried the taro milk tea and loved it. This time, I ordered a matcha milk tea with bubbles at 30% sugar, along with a pineapple mojito (non-alcoholic) with crystal pearls. The matcha was smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet. The 30% sugar level was perfect for letting the matcha flavor shine. The pineapple mojito was refreshing, light, and sparkling. It was also my first experience trying crystal pearls. My initial reaction was that I didn't like them because they're smaller and firmer than traditional boba pearls. They almost reminded me of boba that wasn't cooked quite long enough. But the more I drank, the more I appreciated them. In a cold, sparkling drink, they actually work really well. The pearls add a little surprise after each sip and give you something to chew, making the drink last longer and feel more interactive. Now for the star of the show: the Korean fried chicken. As someone who is mostly pescatarian, I've been wanting to try Korean fried chicken for a while, and this was a great introduction. I ordered the 10-piece wings with sauces on the side, choosing Soy Garlic and Secret Spicy. The wings were huge, meaty, and incredibly crispy. The Soy Garlic had that perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors. The Secret Spicy wasn't particularly spicy to me. I'd probably rename it Secret Sweet because that's the flavor profile that stood out most. What really impressed me was how well the chicken reheated. A quick trip through the air fryer made it even crispier than when I first brought it home. That's a rare quality in takeout fried chicken. If you're looking for a place that offers both excellent drinks and seriously satisfying Korean fried chicken, this spot is worth a visit. Whether you're a boba enthusiast, a fried chicken lover, or someone like me who enjoys trying new flavors and textures, you'll likely find something that keeps you coming back. I know I'll be back to work my way through more of the menu.
