This place is lovely!! I came in craving macrons and walked away talking myself out of about 100 other items including the cheesecake, lemon bars, and a mini labubu cake. I'm so impressed! The macarons were gone so quickly and wow they were all PERFECT. My favorite was the creme brûlée but I really don't think you can go wrong here. I look forward to making it back here next time I'm in town!

Wow what a cute little bakery with the yummiest of treats!! I hadn't heard of them before seeing their shop on IG-- The friendly woman I chatted with said they've had pop-up shops and finally got their brick and mortar shop April 2025. But about the food-- fantastic. So far I've tried a chocolate covered pistachio macaron, German chocolate cake slice, & crème brûlée cheesecake. REALLY good. Likely REALLY good. Will definitely be my new bakery for gifts and special orders (as well as lil' weekend tricks )

This is just the cutest little bakery I've been to in a while. From the warm and inviting feel you experience as you approach the building (this is probably due to the fact the structure looks like it used to be a small home) to the equally warm response you get from the staff, Filigree Bakery was an absolute joy to visit. As you approach the counter, there are plentiful confections tempting you from behind the glass. They seem to specialize in macarons. They have all sorts! They even have some specialty macarons for the person in your family who loves anime. From cookies and cream to pistachio to crème brûlée, the macarons don't end! They also offer cakes, cookies and other delicious treats. The shop has a great use of space. Just enough of what you want to see, but it is simple and elegant. Never too busy. Everything is clean and tidy, and you can guess the kitchen is the same. I should visit Broadripple more often. This area has grown and evolved over the years, in part, due to places like Filigree. I love having such a lovely establishment in our city that is proudly minority and female owned. This makes my heart happy. The world needs places like this to exist and thrive! While I was there, I picked up a little K-Pop Demon Hunter themed cake because my girls are obsessed right now. I chose the vanilla cream cake because that is a safe choice for children. But I had my eye on the almond and carrot cakes! Cute little bakeries like this were made for two things: sweet treats and even sweeter rendezvous! And while it was a shorter visit than I hoped, I was able to experience both!

This the very nice treat given to me

When I drove up to the bakery I was so happily surprised by the cute house that was the bakery. I was immediately greeted and welcomed into the bakery by Brooke. She did not know I was yelp and extended hospitality as though I was any customer walking in. When I told her my name she looked at the list and got out a box. One macaron had the name of the bakery, another the yelp logo. Any business could take advantage of this yummy advertising. I picked, lemon, coconut, crème boule and coffee. All were excellent. Upon leaving Brooke offered me either socks or a yelp bag. I took the bag. Good for the farmer's market. I said I wanted crème boule and she offered me the custard and macaron. I said I was sorry but I didn't want that duo just the small one macron was sufficient. She did not show any negative emotion to the change of order. The location is kind of hidden behind Fresh Thyme. If you leave the backside of the Fresh Thyme parking garage you will run into the bakery. Will I go back again? You betcha!

Title: A Bakery with Heart -- and Incredible Flavor If you're someone who values locally owned businesses that put heart into everything they do, Filigree Bakery is a gem you'll want to discover. I had heard whispers about Filigree's amazing treats, but I also needed to find something gluten-free for my wife, who has celiac. I wanted both quality and care -- and wasn't sure I'd find both in one place. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome. I mentioned that I wanted to try some of their most popular items but was also looking for gluten-free options. The owner herself came out to chat with me. We had a heartfelt conversation about the bakery, the community they serve, and their mission to create the perfect dessert for life's special moments. She listened. She guided me. And she pointed me toward a few perfect options for both me and my wife. I never felt rushed -- just genuinely cared for. Not only is the shop storybook perfect, from its charming exterior to the cozy interior, but the food is unforgettable. The flavors are rich, balanced, and crafted with love. I even found myself savoring each bite and saving some for later because I didn't want the experience to end. If you love boutique shops that offer authentic, bespoke desserts made with purpose and passion, you'll love Filigree Bakery. They want to partner with you to create delicious desserts that become part of your life's great events. I'm already planning our next visit with my wife to grab more of their crème brûlée, cheesecake, and lemon bars -- which I know I'll be craving again soon.

So this is love! The best macaron and dessert bakery has come to Indy! This chic bakery is located on a cozy street in Broad Ripple. Perfect for roaming the area's shops and bustling activity before grabbing some delicious treats! Think of tea party elegance and charm! That's what Filiagree bakery is like, with countless flavors of macarons, crafted cakes, brownies, cookies and more! They also do custom cakes and designs! Can't wait for a reason to celebrate something! I purchase the crème brûlée cheesecake which comes adorned with a macaron! Two for one dessert heaven! I've also previously purchased lemon bars and I keep coming back for more treats!

This place is so cute! Friendly and helpful! I'm not usually a fan of macarons but the crème brûlée flavor caught my eye. I really liked it! I also got picked up a cake for Sunday's game. Yes 'cers!

Cute and bright little home bakery specializing in macarons, extra friendly baker owner served me up some choice colorful bundles of joy. Nice to have parking right on sight, fantastic dining options next door, and all sorts to tingle the taste buds. It's not all gluten free, definitely not low sugar or offering nutrition forward ingredients, but for the classic dessert dream there are a few better spots in Indianapolis to treat yourself. The macarons are incredible! Well-balanced flavor and sweet, delicate and soft, way too easy to eat, there are so many flavors! Can easily recommend.

Stopped here and picked up some focaccia to go with a little pasta we were having for dinner and when I got it home and tried it, I may have cried a little. Came back with my niece a few days later for a post-lunch treat and enjoyed a 6-pack of macarons, including chai, vanilla, and strawberry lime, and they were the perfect level of crisp and light, with a lovely filling. I could not love this place more. Highly, highly recommend!

Hidden gem alert!! Filigree bakery has a special place in my heart. From their mini cakes, to their creme brulee macarons, I cannot stop telling people about this bakery. I was one of the lucky few who were able to snag a spot in the Taylor Swift mini cake decorating class. It was so fun and the staff were amazing. I highly recommend attending a class if you have the option to. If you take anything away from my review, its to try any and all of their macarons. Every flavor is amazing.

This is definitely a hidden gem. The storefront is very welcoming. The baked goods case was very attractive and the baked goods were so cute. I selected the peaches and cream, crème brûlée, espresso, and chocolate macarons in addition to the fruity pebbles. I also got the triple chocolate brownie and the German chocolate cake. Everything was delicious. Laura has done an amazing job with this little shop!

Adorable, quaint little bakery in Broad Ripple. It's off the main roads, which is great. Also easy to get to. There was plenty of parking. It's small without any seating. They easily accommodated myself and my 3 rambunctious little boys stopping in to pick up a few items. The Macaroons were delightful and delicious. They were light, airy, and flavorful. I highly recommend the cookie monster and pistachio. There were many flavors of Macaroons to try and they are $2 on Tuesdays. There were also some delicious looking small cakes and brownies. I can't wait to go back and try them.

Such a cute little bakery!! The macarons are really good! I got the crème Brulee, pistachio and coconut flavors and also purchased a mini almond flavor funfetti and carrot cake. The carrot cake was really good and moist with really good cream cheese icing but the almond funfetti had whipped icing which wasn't as great and the cake was dry. I'd love to try some of the other macaron flavors and bakery items though. They also had some cute gift items too, I ended up buying a pair of earrings!

When Amanda took to creating these artisan donuts, the city immediately flocked. Follow her on Instagram (@indydough) to see the different baked goods she cooks up each week. She usually makes donuts: think everything from cherry vanilla crullers to guava cream cheese old fashioned and black sesame glazed donuts. They're truly cooler than any donuts you've ever tried. I saw a post about white cheddar, green onion scones and immediately hopped on it. I messaged Amanda the night before the pop-up and she set one aside, as they usually sell out. This is the kind of place that you will have to arrive incredibly early to even have a chance at scoring a donut. There's a limited amount and they sell out in person within 30 minutes. They'll be a line outside before the place even opens. Go to bed early, get up early, and be ready to wait for the experience! Thank you Amanda! I gobbled up the scone so quickly and it was so, so, so GOOD.

It had a variety of colors of tomatoes. It was perfectly creamy from the cheesiness and salty from the buttery pastry. Can't wait to try more of their stuff and hope to see them do more pop ups downtown!

This Japanese Pop Up ends on September 1st, 2019, so try it while it's there! The portion of the ramen is very small for $12 a bowl even though I ordered a large; it took 3 bites for me to finish the entire bowl. The broth was clear and refreshing, but it would be nice to have a little more flavor or salty to bring out the taste more. In the ramen had a slice of pork belly, egg, one small piece of seaweed and radish. It's nice that this museum has different pop ups every month that also brings the culture's food for people to try, but wouldn't go here just for food.

I have to be honest and say that the third "Pop Up" at the IMA was a little disappointing compared…read moreto the first two. Though I still like the idea of celebrating the cooking arts and their connection to specific cultures/countries around the world, I felt this one was a step down from commitment that the first two pop ups had. If you read the promotional information on the Newfield's website, it describes a "diner" and seems to promote a certain connection to "americana". But because of the open spacing and surrounding environment, there is none of the intimacy of a diner here. No aromas of fresh baked pies. There wasn't the commitment to the aesthetic as in the earlier pop ups. And frankly, the American Apple Pie wasn't my favorite. Too much spice (I smelled the nutmeg before taking a bite) and not enough sweetness to make me reminisce of days gone by. Fortunately, the scoop of vanilla ice cream added just enough sweetness to balance out the savory. And the bottomless cup of coffee was really good: full flavor, no bitterness, and served ready to drink. They also have other sweet pies, three savory pies, some gluten free and vegan options, and milk shakes (with and without booze). Understand before you go here that this is a fund raising event for the museum. So don't complain about prices because this isn't a regular business. The prices are clearly listed, so if you think it cost too much, that's your own fault for not preparing. Know that you have to pay for admission to the museum to be able to dine at the pop up as well. But once you pay, you can explore all the exhibits before or after dining here (including the outdoor gardens.) This pop up will be open through May 24th, 2020. Rev. #52
