Oh wow... this place is gorgeous Thanks to Too Good To Go, I finally stopped by Flying Cupcakes and not only picked up some cupcakes (which were delicious), but also got to really check out the space. It's beautiful, like the kind of place that instantly puts you in a good mood. The staff working while I was there? Absolutely the nicest. And I have to give credit when it's due, I love businesses that trust people, and you can just feel that here. The person at the counter was an absolute gem and made the experience even better. Safe to say, I'll be back... and yes, I'm already thinking about booking this place for my birthday

I normally visit either the Mass Ave or Castleton locations but was in the area so I decided to drop in. I didn't realize how large and pretty this location is. Lots of seating area, lots of decor, larger selection of desserts and a lot more merchandise too. Unfortunately, the cupcakes I purchased weren't as fresh tasting and moist as the other two locations are always on point. I got the chocolate, which was probably the most driest out of my bunch, the caramel apple was good enough and the wedding almond cake one was moist but not as I'm used to. Service was definitely friendly!

Saw great reviews so came for my wife's bday. Small bday cake for 2 was around $30. The size of the cake could have been for 3-4 in my option so worth the money. Wife liked the cake and the cupcakes flavor. Service was friendly and I also got a cupcake for my pup. Inside of the store reminds me of Alice in Wonderland and they have plenty of treats to try!

I purchased six jumbo cupcakes at the Carmel location on 05.13.25 for a birthday celebration on 5/14/25. They were transported home and then to work without any issues. When I opened the box, the attached photo shows what the Here Comes the Bride cupcake looked like, while the other five varieties were intact. This was particularly disappointing as it was requested by the Birthday Girl. That HCTB batch must have had issues because all the ones in the case reminded me more of muffins than cupcakes, but I *assumed* they had passed quality control as they were for sale. The Birthday Girl took it well, but again, I was disappointed (and embarrassed). I sent an email to the bakery on 5/14 with no response and again on 5/27 - no response received as of today. This is my last purchase from them.

My nephew has a lot of food allergies. This is our go to place when we want to send him a sweet treat. Lots of vegan choices. They are also very nice and helpful. I had to call because there was an issue with the delivery app. They immediately helped me and my nephew had his cupcake within the hour. I would recommend a cupcake but he loves them all.

All the Flying Cupcake locations are fun and unique. This one is right near the heart of Carmel. It offers unique and fun merch in addition to, of course, delicious cupcakes. I stopped in with my sons for one of their birthdays. We all enjoyed our cupcakes and the person working the counter was friendly and helpful. The one star I've docked is for a lack of indoor seating. There were only two tables despite this being one of the largest Flying Cupcakes I've been in. I think some of the merch areas could be turned into seating for those who would like to stay and enjoy their treats. Other than that, everything here is top-notch.

This was not the first black thing with cream on top that I've put in my mouth lately but it was by far the best. I enjoyed the peanut butter chocolate cupcake and I have to say I was impressed. Usually when it comes to cake I feel like vomiting and am filled with regrets and begin to question my dietary choices. But this oh this was different. This cake filled my mouth with joy's unknown. Nutty, chocolaty, mmmm fill me up. The layout of the establishment made me feel like Alice and I was in wonderland. I'm currently sitting in a cupcake. But overall Gas on the Gas or Ass scale.

This third time I was picking up 18 pastries - 3 different types- all delicious and superbly baked AND a cake. WOW! The cake was amazingly beautiful! delicious and decorated exquisitely with huge intricate frosting flowers and leaves. I'm very very happy with my order- they even helped me carry it to the car. This bakery made my special family party a huge success, everyone enjoyed the food and remarked on how delicious it looked and tasted. Thank you SO much for making the event extra special

The raspberry pistachio croissant? Oh. My. God. This thing had me in a chokehold. Flaky, buttery layers with the perfect balance of tart raspberry and rich pistachio. It wasn't just good -- it was write-home-about-it good. The kind of pastry that makes you pause mid-bite and question every other croissant you've ever had. The second was a croissant sandwich (I wish I could remember the name!), but the way those flavors paired together? Let's just say it was a full culinary experience. Savory, balanced, indulgent -- you get the hint. Every bite just made sense. Now here's the part that really says something: I grew up on the East Coast where authentic French bakeries are everywhere and the cultural standard is high. I know a proper croissant. And this? This was better. Yes, I said it. We even had the chance to speak with the owner, who was incredibly warm and genuine. He checked in to make sure we enjoyed everything -- which we clearly did, considering we left with boxes to take home. This place isn't just a pastry shop. It's an experience. And trust me, it will be a topic of discussion in our house for days. Run. Don't walk.

I got a chicken parm and a meatball parm a few cookies, an espresso and an Italian hot chocolate.. My question, like someone else had wrote below about the bakery goods. The place is way to small to make in house. Most of the cake slices and mini treats are obviously pre packaged. So I wonder where they get the goods from and how long they sit before they renew. The service was good. Counter help was polite and pleasant. I grew up in the 70s and 80s in the North East and remember the smells of the food, bread and baked goods being made IN HOUSE. Stacco House had none of this. If I was blindfolded walking in I would never know I was in an Italian Bakery. It had more of a smell of a standard coffee house. Stacco passed, but in a way that was sort of disappointing. If you are going to call yourself authentic cuisine maybe try a little harder then to just have some Dean Martin playing in the background. It was almost Olive garden-ish. Sorry if I am offending anyone but when you have had real, you know what real is. Also, the nail in the coffin..... The business card. The Italian flag, from the flag pole out is green white red. The card has it on an angel as red white green. If the flag is draped vertical, green is on the top.

Much like the downtown Indy location, Lemon's is technically located within the Carmel Needler's. However, Lemon's has its own separate entrance and storefront while existing on the east end of Needler's. You can access Needler's directly from Lemon's Bakery Cafe. Lemon's has a small counter with display cases for its baked goods. Like the downtown Indy location, they offer sweets from Noblesville's Rosie's and they offer a variety of local coffees and a rather extensive list of coffee options. There's also a relatively small dining area with booths appropriate for 2-3 people. I found this area not entirely wheelchair friendly, though I could make it work. My best option was sitting at the end of a row of booths which put me pretty much close to the door on a rather chilly day. The employee working was super quiet but friendly and helpful. I ordered two chocolate frosted donuts, they have donuts, and I was honestly a bit stunned they were only $2 total. They do have higher-priced items, of course. The donuts were fresh and delicious and definitely hit the spot on a rainy, dreary day here in Indy. I appreciated that the doors were automatic doors and that there was accessible parking directly in front of the entrance. I also appreciated being able to check out Needler's, though to grab a cart you do have to go down to the Needler's entrance. While I wouldn't consider Lemon's a destination bakery, I wouldn't hesitate to stop in while in the area and this has become a nice little strip center with Needler's, a CVS, Roots Burger Bar, Rad's, and a couple other fun businesses to check out here. Business was steady in the few minutes I was here and it seems to be a stop for neighborhood families. If you're in the area and craving some baked goods Lemon's is a convenient, affordable option that also supports local!
