I was pleased with the variety of donuts at this well organized and well-maintained establishment. There were multiple prepackaged varieties of cinnamon rolls; donut holes, fruit preserves, etc. in addition to the large variety of fresh donuts on hand. The employee helping me informed me that their most popular donut was the cinnamon caramel so I finished filling my box with two of those and boy was I thankful! It literally melts in your mouth and it was a particular flavor variety I have never had in a donut. Usually the white cream filled is a favorite of mine at all donut shops, but I didn't love the chocolate icing (a little dry and crumbly today) and the white cream was extremely sweet. The chocolate iced, peanut butter cream was surprisingly delicious and was also a flavor I've never had in a doughnut. Good donuts. I would give them a 4 out of 5, but I'm removing a star because they're so expensive. The Underground Donut Tour gave Rise'n Roll's cinnamon caramel donut its "Overall Fan Favorite Donut" in 2023. I don't get it...I think that donut is the worst one on their menu. It seems like they often run out of inventory of various items on the menu. The staff is really nice. They're closed on Sundays. The cinnamon rolls are outstanding. It's always busy when I visit. I've gone twice now, and tried a variety of doughnuts. The donut holes are still my favorite so far. I keep forgetting to try the cinnamon caramel doughnut. I picked up a 6 pack of their cream cheese cinnamon rolls and oh my, these are amazing! Every roll is frosted to the perfect amount. You cannot go back to generic store bought cinnamon rolls once tasting these. Rise n' Roll was busy, but the line moved fast with their employees. I was at the door when I entered, but was out in under 5 minutes. There are a few places to sit inside, but mostly everyone got their goods and left. They do run out of things and you can call ahead to place your order, but they were not taking pick up orders when I went (probably because it was the holiday season). There were PLENTY cinnamon rolls when I was there, so no need to worry. If you do get the cinnamon rolls, I highly encourage warming them up in the oven. We did 350 for about 10 minutes and it made them lightly warm. Before putting in the oven, take the plastic lid off the top and keep the rolls in the their original pan. However, put the original roll pan on a baking sheet because icing will melt and drip down. read more

I first discovered Rise 'n Roll several years ago at their bakery in Middlebury in northeast Indiana. Then they opened a location in Ft. Wayne, and I stopped by there when I was in the area. A year ago they opened their Greenwood location. And finally, a Hamilton County location. Their donuts are simply amazing. No preservatives, just real ingredients. They are famous for their caramel cinnamon donuts, otherwise known as "Amish crack." These donuts and donut holes are truly addictive. They feature a large variety of filled, frosted, and glazed donuts as well. Cinnamon rolls, pies, bread, cheese, Amish rolled butter, jellies, salsas and more. As a whole donut it was a little powdered sugar overwhelming but cut into small bites (like donut holes would be) it was tasty indeed! The chocolate frosted donut was pretty close to perfect. After eating many inferior donuts and thinking they were good I have know been reintroduced to how a good donut should taste.
