I was pleased with the variety of donuts at this well organized and well-maintained establishment. There were multiple prepackaged varieties of cinnamon rolls; donut holes, fruit preserves, etc. in addition to the large variety of fresh donuts on hand. The employee helping me informed me that their most popular donut was the cinnamon caramel so I finished filling my box with two of those and boy was I thankful! It literally melts in your mouth and it was a particular flavor variety I have never had in a donut. Usually the white cream filled is a favorite of mine at all donut shops, but I didn't love the chocolate icing (a little dry and crumbly today) and the white cream was extremely sweet. The chocolate iced, peanut butter cream was surprisingly delicious and was also a flavor I've never had in a doughnut. The sour cream and blueberry was ok, but next time I will leave with a box full of the cinnamon caramel with one or two of the peanut butter cream filled donuts. Clearly there is something for everyone at this donut shop!
I was first introduced to their donut holes years ago. I liked them, but never ventured to their bakery to try other products until now. This Amish bakery is close to home so it's convenient. It's always busy when I visit. I've gone twice now, and tried a variety of doughnuts. The donut holes are still my favorite so far. I keep forgetting to try the cinnamon caramel doughnut. I've seen many recommendations to try it, and their website refers to it as a "classic." There is always a conversation about the best doughnut places in Indy. This ranks 3 or 4 on my list. It's definitely worth a try. I'll update my review when I try more items if necessary.
I picked up a 6 pack of their cream cheese cinnamon rolls and oh my, these are amazing! Every roll is frosted to the perfect amount. You cannot go back to generic store bought cinnamon rolls once tasting these. Rise n' Roll was busy, but the line moved fast with their employees. I was at the door when I entered, but was out in under 5 minutes. There are a few places to sit inside, but mostly everyone got their goods and left. They do run out of things and you can call ahead to place your order, but they were not taking pick up orders when I went (probably because it was the holiday season). There were PLENTY cinnamon rolls when I was there, so no need to worry. If you do get the cinnamon rolls, I highly encourage warming them up in the oven. We did 350 for about 10 minutes and it made them lightly warm. Before putting in the oven, take the plastic lid off the top and keep the rolls in the their original pan. However, put the original roll pan on a baking sheet because icing will melt and drip down.
Today's #yum was the classic chocolate Bavarian creme, and a coffee. Always fresh and delicious! #ReviewsByRL
4/5 donut: love whatever they put into the sugary powder, but don't love the donut texture (I am a deep fried yeast donut gal, personal preference). There's a springy chew to these donuts almost reminiscent of maybe a hybrid almost mochi-like donut (I do like mochinuts, but since it wasn't fully that texture, my mouthfeel was left craving either end of extremes). 5/5 People were all nice - the selection was very small given we came at end of day. Will try the cup of donut holes next time and maybe some other items. Sticky buns: needs more nuts, didn't love texture either Apple fritter: can't remember it Cinnamon roll: icing needs to be more cream cheese-y flavored and it was too sweet for me Nice amount of seating areas and relatively clean. You can also buy some other non-bakery items like sausages!
Very nice and affordably priced donut shop. The service was quick and easy and seems to be pretty consistent. The ambience is like any donut shop, but with many displays and a wide variety of donuts to choose from.
This place is so cute! You're immediately greeted by a fun mural and. WALL full of yummy looking jarred food options like pickles and apple butter. Would that I could buy them all. But then you turn around and it's a wall full of DONUTS. Everything looked absolutely stunning. It smelled incredible. I ordered a cinnamon roll and a pecan sticky roll and both were out of this world. I'll be back to try a donut for sure!
The Fishers District location is a great addition to the area and the team there are always friendly. I don't think you can go wrong here. These are some of the best donuts you will ever have. I always come back to the apple fritter, but truly any option is going to be great.
Cinnamon caramel donuts are nicknamed crack for a reason. Man they are so good and never disappoint. My husband also like the chocolate iced but I stick with the crack. We got a nice variety for the everyone.
Have you had the little cinnamon do it holes? They are just sweet puffs of cinnamon-y air! Stop in on 116th St in Fishers and get a cupful $4.89. They also sell them in a one pound bag for $9.99. This is probably still one serving depending on your will power! The store usually has the cups ready to go by the cash register - but don't miss all the other baked goods, jellies, and the whole wall full of items. Large parking lot but - pro tip: avoid this area on a Saturday morning!
This place has some of the best donuts! An Amish bakery with very fresh ingredients and no preservatives that will have you feeling like you've left the city for a drive thru rolling hills and a simpler life. I ordered a lemon filled donut. They tend to be a little pricey but one bite and you forget about the expense. The donuts were soft, chewy and covered with powdered sugar but were not overly sweet. The lemon creme filling was amazing. I look forward to my next trip.

Shop came highly recommended from people who have been to the area. Selection is top notch, all sorts of different donuts. From different glazes, powders, fillings, and more. I went with a cinnamon powder caramel glaze, traditional vanilla glaze, blueberry crumble, and a lemon drizzle blueberry filled donut. They were jaw dropping good. The texture of the donut itself is fantastic, and the quality of toppings and glaze is great. Star of the show was the lemon drizzle blueberry filled. The filling was something of a pie filling, delectable. The glaze wasn't too much and the hint of lemon was perfect. Friendly staff and a clean interior. read more
My husband and I had been craving a tasty treat and knew that an Amish donut would be a pleasant way to start out our Saturday. We arrived early and were greeted with a variety of flavors to choose from which was nice. We settled on 5 donuts and a danish. My favorite is the cinnamon caramel donut that they are famous for and I would recommend trying it to anyone who hasn't had the opportunity read more

If you are local to or passing by Fishers - Rise'n Roll Bakery is a great place to stop for fresh baked goods (donuts, pies, cookies, cinnamon rolls, stick buns, this list goes on)! They also have fresh made jams, jarred peaches and other fruits, pickled veggies, salsa, and fresh made cheese balls. There are a few tables for those who want to enjoy their fresh donuts in-house. The inside was very clean and organized. The staff was super friendly and although the line was long, they were super efficient and I was in and out within 5 minutes! I ordered a dozen donuts to share with family and friends and they were a huge hit! They had so many donut flavors to choose from, so there's something everyone will enjoy! read more

What have I done?!? I have found this bakery and nothing will be the same. While under quarantine, I noticed a pecan pie IG post for Easter. I went ahead and called ahead and ordered! Then I mentioned I hadn't ever walked in, and asked what else I could add to support. They mentioned their donuts so I said give me a dozen and you choose. It was a blind tasting and it was so good! I wanted more today, so I called and picked up, added the cinnamon rolls, and extra donuts for my father and Neighbor... I recommend giving this place all your money bc you will never stop. I'd recommend Loyalty points or a members club bc I know I will be frequently purchasing. I recommend Mocha, Apple pie, the Crunch donuts! The pecan pie was delicious! Please visit this place!!!! read more

When I'm looking for LEGIT soul food I'm looking for at LEAST one bonafide church lady in the back, but if I want the bomb baked goods I've gotta find an Amish granny that has them recipes from 7 generations of Yoders...Bontragers...or whoever else is out there making pies, cookies, and donuts that would make you travel by car or buggy to get there! Rise and Roll is hands down THE BEST donut spot in Fishers! No shade on the other spots, but they have way more overall baked goods...not to mention the amazing jellies, jams, and salsas...and the donuts are FANTASTIC! I got the the peanut butter filled donut and the crunch bismark donut! I'm telling you right now...that crunch bismark donut has me rethinking every donut I'd had before it! Why? Why did it take me this long to have something this good?!?!! The toffee pieces taunted me with each crunchy bite almost as to say, "you know I own you now...right". Right. My biggest tip...go during a weekday. If you go on Saturday you will wait in a line out the door. It will be worth it, they move it quickly, and they have more samples than Costco to keep your attention, but know what you're getting into! read more
Really happy to have a Rise 'n Roll location closer to home. This is a great area for Rise 'n Roll and judging by the line I am sure it will popular. I first discovered Rise 'n Roll several years ago at their bakery in Middlebury in northeast Indiana. Then they opened a location in Ft. Wayne, and I stopped by there when I was in the area. A year ago they opened their Greenwood location. And finally, a Hamilton County location. Their donuts are simply amazing. No preservatives, just real ingredients. They are famous for their caramel cinnamon donuts, otherwise known as "Amish crack." These donuts and donut holes are truly addictive. They feature a large variety of filled, frosted, and glazed donuts as well. Cinnamon rolls, pies, bread, cheese, Amish rolled butter, jellies, salsas and more. Employees are super friendly and will describe all the different donut varieties. But it is up to you to make the difficult decisions. read more
Just as it is in the name... Perfectly risen! The raise of the donuts here hit differently. It's fluffy but crispy at the same time. Not sure if it's because of the Indiana air or the butter or what... but it just hits different. A good hit. read more

These donuts are crack. You can't just eat one. The original cinnamon caramel ring is divine. By our second visit, we've also tried all of the premium ones and have just a few favs: peanut butter, Boston creme, chocolate raspberry truffle, lemon-filled, apple-filled. You just can't go wrong with anything. They also have other Amish goodies. Jalapeño cheese ball is delish. read more

Update : Iif I could give it more stars I would do so, I might not buy donuts from anywhere else in Fishers again. Today I had a chocolate frosted Bavarian cream donut. Heavenly! The donut dough is delicious and more substantial than airy so it doesn't smash and it holds up the the cream. The cream is perfect! It's not too sweet, beautiful texture and enough to get a little in every bite. I'm middle aged and I can say, this was the best donut of my life! Original review: Welcome to Fishers! I'm so excited that this bakery opened in Fishers at the Yard. I stopped in to check out the new bakery. The donuts were worth all the hype! I had an yeast raised chocolate frosted donut and one of the signature cinnamon caramel donuts. Even the next day the cinnamon caramel donut was very, very good. I can imagine that the donut holes of the same recipe are probably amazing. As a whole donut it was a little powdered sugar overwhelming but cut into small bites (like donut holes would be) it was tasty indeed! The chocolate frosted donut was pretty close to perfect. After eating many inferior donuts and thinking they were good I have know been reintroduced to how a good donut should taste. It was more dense than the grocery store or chain places and the frosting actually tasted like chocolate and not just like sugar. They have an impressive selection on jams and canned fruits/pickles. I didn't buy any this trip but I look forward to needing some in the near future. read more

Very good Donuts have tons of filling which is often lacking other bakeries. A bit too sweet. The lemon blueberry don't need the sugar glaze in my opinion but the filling was delicious. Staff was super friendly. No line at 9 am on a Friday. We also bought some raspberry jam which was very good too. read more
So, I am not a doughnut person... but, my first experience with their cinnamon caramel doughnut started me thinking about them days later... I have made two trips now and have been happy both times! The first experience was a call in pickup order. The gal on the phone had a very pleasant and welcoming attitude. Once I arrive, my order was ready for me to carry out and be on my way. The second experience, I was able to walk in and take in all they gave to offer...the inside is absolutely beautiful and you feel like you are in a small good market. The Goods There are a wide variety of pies, canned goods, bottled beverages, doughnuts, danishes and a fritter to choose from. The Food Experience First visit decided to take a chance on their famous cinnamon caramel yeast doughnuts...I was pleasantly surprised...it was soft and squishy when biting in and not overly sweet. This experience hooked me. This second visit I ordered the Bavarian crime cinnamon caramel doughnut and boy was it delicious....the crime filling was light and not overly sweet....I will go back and get this one again! Staff Experirmce The element that made both experiences even better was the staff...they are very pleasant and eelco read more

Went in for the Peanut Butter Cream filled Chocolate Covered yeast. This was my second of this type ever. This one falls into the second place. The donut was good. The cream was airy and a butter cream with a peanut butter accent. Schuler's Bakery has set the standard for me in this type of donut. That was one amazing donut and shop. Of course them being in OH, they called it a Buckeye donut. Makes sense there. Technically this could be standard anywhere. Rise and a Roll is a good looking Bakery. We bought some extra goodies. A set of whoops pies and pecan topped rolls. We called those Honey Bees in Texas. I'm sure to be back again here when in Fishers read more

The donuts here are OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD! Walked into Rise n Roll to get some sweet treats for my boyfriend and I, and there was a line literally out the door. It makes since that its so busy it was the weekend. Everything looked so good from the bakery goods to the jars of jam and pickles on the shelf. I ordered a 6 pack and a container of frosted cookies for my friend. I heard that their most popular donut was the cinnamon Carmel. So I ordered 2 of the cinnamon carmel, 2 normal glaze, one chocolate with sprinkles, and lastly a lemon filled. That plus the cookies came to $14. Not bad at all. Loved the cinnamon carmel! The dough is so soft and chewy, its like biting into something light and fluffy. The powdered sugar was a nice touch! Everything else had the same delicious texture to the dough, its definitely my favorite donut spot now! TIP: Make sure you get to the shop early, especially on the weekends. Otherwise your favorite donut might be out. They sell out quick! read more

Rise and Roll Bakery is a wonderful place in Fishers that has incredible donuts and baked goods of all kind. When you walk in the door, you immediately smell goodness and fresh baked donuts! They also sell homemade jams and jellies and anything you can imagine, but the most popular item is the donuts. They have all unique flavors and different kinds of donuts. I picked up a chocolate cherry filled donut and a toffee Crunch donut. Both were fresh and tasted amazing!! They have the Boston creme donut and a cinnamon glazed donut that looked great. The bakery also sells cinnamon rolls and banana bread as well, and can do specially cakes upon special request. The staff is very friendly and professional, and will work with you to get what you need for a special occasion. All hail Rise and Roll Bakeru for producing incredible donuts and baked goods!!! read more
