It's no secret that I'm a fan of the growing Pana Donuts chain. This central Indiana chain now has seven locations including this spot in Avon. As I'm a wheelchair user, I'm especially fond of the fact that this one has a drive-thru as that helps me avoid having to park, get my wheelchair out, and go inside. Pana offers raised donuts, cake donuts, fancies, kronuts, cookies, muffins, and a handful of sandwich options. the drink menu includes a variety of coffees, iced drinks, some bottled options, and more. Pana has the end spot in a strip center. The drive-thru is pretty basic, though I like that they've made the menu easy to read and pretty comprehensive. The speaker works pretty well and I found the employees pretty quick and friendly. I arrived at a bit of an off time while I was headed out to Putnam County to visit family. I was able to get in/out fairly quickly. I was able to get three chocolate iced cake donuts and a bottled water for a little over six bucks. I really enjoyed the donuts. They were fresh and the icing was delicious and not overwhelming. I'm consistently happy with Pana and this location is no exception. The donuts were delicious, the pricing was fair, the service was excellent, and this strip center has accessible parking and a decent curb cut if you don't want to use the drive-thru. I don't go to Pana as much as I'd like - I'm in this area where there's simply not one super close, however, when I get the chance I definitely stop. I have taken my daughter to Pana Donuts before school in two occasions and we have loved it both times. The donuts are so light and fluffy, they are delicious. I'm guessing this location opened around Thanksgiving based on the other Yelper's reviews. It is a very nice store, with a larger than normal dining area and plenty of room for customers to line up for their ordering. I did not notice the drive through but it must be behind the building like in other locations. I always like to go inside and see what's going on plus to drool over all the various donuts, lol. I got apprehensive when I saw only one powdered donut in the jewelry case tray. When my turn came I asked if they had more, she turned to ask another guy, he looked at the rolling rack of trays and said yes but he went in the back to get them and I almost fist pumped because I knew mine were going to be very fresh. Sure can't get that at the other large chain donut stores because they don't make their donuts in the stores, let alone powdered donuts. I ordered my usual half dozen powdered donuts and was going to eat just one when I got home but... they are like potato chips. You can't eat just one, can you? I had two and they were super delicious even at room temperature. Normally I heat them up for 10 seconds, but I just dived in today. I used to love just regular glazed donuts but now I'm hooked on powdered donuts as well as funnel cake fries at the bowling alley and funnel cake at the Indiana State Fair. The convenience of a drive-thru is helpful, especially when you have kids and don't want the struggle of getting everyone out of the car only to have a tantrum about a pink sprinkle donut. Just be patient because they are not always quick, and the drive-thru speaker is on the passenger side. We have tried the cookies, brownie, breakfast sandwich, and donuts, all of which are fairly decent. There wasn't anything spectacular about the taste or texture, but the price was very reasonable. Love this place! It's has the feel of a small cafe. The staff is super friendly and the donuts are always fresh! Their donut display is always filled and is well lit so it's very easy to see all the different flavors! Our favorites are the Strawberry Iced w/ Sprinkles, Vanilla Iced w/ Sprinkles, and the Glazed Cinnamon Rolls! The donuts holes are superb and melt in your mouth! Everything is priced perfectly! We usually do the half dozen for a little over $8 and a dozen donut holes are only $1.99! They also have many different drink options including Bobas! this is the first west side location for pana and their 4th family owned brick & mortar. they've been open for about 2yrs as of october. according to their social media and obvious non movement for several months this location was delayed in opening by the county-regulations. i'm mentioning this because as unfortunate as that is it should mean when you do open you are wholly prepared. they've been open about five days now and it didn't seem like a place with several locations who are serious about expanding. my experience wasn't bad but it wasn't good or this is our 4th location we've got it together either. there's a drive thru but i went inside, it wasn't busy a couple dining in and few others ordering to go. for the grand opening they were offering a free donut or small coffee. there's a banner mentioning it out front. there were plenty of fresh donuts being brought out, they offer lunch and thai tea with boba. i go for the kronuts :) read more

We've been to Pana twice and the service was great. They are super nice. The donuts are good. We tried a few the first visit and the second visit was on donut day where they offered us free donuts. I'll definitely update this at some point. Hopefully, it will be to increase the stars. They have been open since November 2022, and I was told, so a few months now. Staff seemed under trained. Offerings in the case were not labeled at all. I'm a rewards member, which the machine was present but I was told it didn't work. I asked if it could be looked up by phone number or if there were some other method and was told by the cashier I don't know which walked and asked another employee who said it just not set up yet. Holy moly! These donuts are so good. I don't even consider myself a donut person. I'm a creature of habit and typically get blueberry glazed cake. Pana's were incredible. My youngsters were indecisive and the employees (also youngsters) were patient and helpful. We went in around 8 AM and I expected there to be some donuts out but everything was fully stocked, though there was a steady stream of people in and out. The new Pana Donuts is on Rockville Rd past the Coscto. They were offering a grand opening week long special of a free donut, so we stopped by twice after we went to Coscto! I had never been so was excited to try Pana. I went with half dozen each time we went. Plus we had two free ones. My aunt loves the jelled filled one, but she said the apple filled one was amazing. I got the chocolate cream filled and a Boston Cream the 2nd time. I thought the actual donut was very good! It was light and fresh tasting. I did think they could use more filling. We also tried the apple fritters, which both my aunt and husband liked. I got cake donuts too. I am not usually a fan of red velvet, but they were so pretty. The chocolate cake with chocolate icing and coconut was very good. The 2nd trip I got a butter cake donut and just ate it two days later and it was very good still. I liked it best out of the cake donuts. But I won't pass up a yeasty chocolate cream donut. They are my favorite. Pana is worth a stop if you are in the area!
