I really believe in leaving honest reviews when I go anywhere. I am leaving a lower review due to the following issues/concerns while I was there. Arrived and noted that there were not many donuts in the display, but we were told they would make them for you. Okay, great. No worries. We ordered two donuts, the breakfast tacos, and a breakfast sandwich. We got milk and a regular coffee. The breakfast items came out fairly quickly, but no donuts or coffee. Kind of waited for a little and then finally had to ask, nothing was being made. Able to get my coffee and the donuts finally arrived. They were not the normal quality at all. I am not sure what they are doing. PROS: A donut place between Avon and Danville, so great for the community Parking is not an issue, but not many ways in the lot CONS: Place was not clean, tables were dirty Process to order and get items was in disarray. (they were training a new employee on the register, no issues with that at all, she was doing what she could and was being trained, they were doing a great job with that. She was not made to hurry and was learning, so all good) Items received were not the quality expected as they are making the as you order, rather than having items available so poorly made. Meaning, when they finally realized we had no donuts, they asked what we ordered and made them. The donut with chocolate icing with sprinkles was just chocolate thrown on it, melting everywhere and it was not appetizing at all. Stopped in to pick up an order. Been to other locations and this was my first time at this location. I love the ambiance inside that is cozy and welcoming and invites you to stay awhile. Great selection of donuts and some non donut options if sweet breakfast isn't your thing. The drink my daughter got was a mango slushy type drink and it was OK. The mango syrup they used was a little too artificial and perfumy. Later ordered some donuts for delivery and the maple bacon donut was good and the coconut cream one was a definite hit! read more

I'd long been curious about Parlor, however, there's not one near me. I've been spending more time with my father lately as he experiences health issues. As a result, I've been in Hendricks County quite a bit. Parlor Doughnuts is located in a free-standing building in a parking lot adjacent to a strip center. Parlor has both indoor dining and a drive-thru. Parlor is more of a premium-doughnut vendor. Most doughnuts are in the $2.45-$3.45 range. Parlor Doughnuts is an Indiana born chain that was started in February 2019 in Evansville. It has expanded somewhat quickly and is now considered a national chain. This location's interior has a rather nice ambience. The menu consists of their famous layered doughnuts and about 28 different kinds of doughnuts including some keto friendly and vegan/gluten friendly options. They also have dog doughnuts. Parlor also has some breakfast sandwiches, a variety of coffee-themed drinks, some bottled drinks (I got an unsweetened iced tea in a bottle), and a few other options. I ordered two "chocolate chocolate" doughnuts and my bottle of unsweetened iced tea. The employee was friendly throughout the encounter. Service was timely. I spent right about $11. It's definitely not a value experience, however, for a more premium doughnut it's in the ballpark. I've definitely paid much more for much worse. Overall, this was a positive experience. The doughnuts were good (I will admit they somewhat tasted like they'd been out a bit) and the service was strong. While I'm not going to say this is a 5-star experience, I can easily go 4-stars. read more

Don't normally go out of my way to leave reviews but this place was terrible. It's our first time so we stopped by. There were no doughnuts (literally empty shelves-looked as if people were waiting for orders) so we just ordered coffee. After waiting 20 mins (waited that long because there looked to be other people waiting so we just thought it was taking awhile) we went up to the counter because we never got our name called. I spoke to someone and asked if our drink would be ready soon because we wanted to leave. Turns out the ticket was just sitting there the whole time, she didn't even see it. No apology for the wait, she starts making it and she makes it wrong, (I asked for half and half with no whipped cream) she made it with 2% and whipped cream. My husband tells her it's wrong and she kinda just scoffs and has someone else make it. After over 30 mins we get the drink and it's practically just half and half and caramel. Taste terrible. Good to have a new premium doughnut establishment in the area. This Parlor Doughnuts is very similar to the one i visited on Jacksonville, FL recently. Easy access parking, good amount of space for sit down, but also easy for takeout. The doughnuts are layered and different than anywhere else I have been. They are not cheap, but they do have a rewards program, etc. Recommend them but don't expect to buy a dozen for comparable pricing to other doughnut places. This is a place where you go get a few premium doughnuts and share them with your inner circle. We went on opening weekend when they were giving a free doughnut on the app and service was still quick and all flavors were being restocked even with a very full line and restaurant. Facility is clean and well lit. Drive through was not available on opening day, but should be for normal operation. read more

parlor took over the wendy's that once was. can't say i'm not sad about that! i'm surprised they didn't use the drive thru. nov 30th was their opening day. i went sunday to avoid the crowd and line. they make their airy layered croissant like donuts by order so they'll always be fresh. my box was warm at the bottom and the icing had melted perfectly. there's parking surrounding the building and more in the rest of the lot. it gets busy with the gas station and breakfast spot in my experience. there's a ramp and accessible parking. the inner door is nonexistent as they removed it which is actually nice. you can sit inside or outside as they've placed chairs and tables. i hope they add umbrellas for shade in the summer. the workers are pleasant and move quickly. it'd be helpful if they had menus that said what the donuts consistent of. this seems to be a common question. a sandy beach sounds delicious but what actually is that? if they have descriptive menus, i've not seen them (except for the gluten free one) read more

Visited the new Parlor location on a busy Saturday. They are organized and the line moved quickly. I've been to the 10th St. location and am not sure if having one closer to me is a good thing or not! These are awesome doughnuts and come in a variety of flavors. My husband and kids went to the grand opening and being so close to home they were 3rd in line in enough time to get a fresh box before the crowds filled the whole place wrapping out the door. The doughnuts are large and super sweet, full of different flavors, though we couldn't tell too much different on a couple (french toast, sandy beach, churro), but strawberry was the favorite. Being diabetic I also tried the maple and vanilla keto doughnuts, which again are super sweet...almost too sweet to enjoy a whole one. Definitely a more dense cake doughnut, but still decent if you want a sweet. Service was as quick as can be expected on opening day with a few technical glitches, but we recommend downloading the app to order ahead or at least to view the menu before you go. read more

WE LOVE PARLOR! Even though these are popping up all over the place now, I have no problem supporting a Hoosier founded business, plus they are independently franchised. I've only had cronuts in two places, but I'm hooked! The raspberry pistachio is my go-to and my husband loves the campfire. They make excellent lattes. First time visiting this establishment. We were the only ones in the drive through. As soon as we pulled in we were told to pull up to the pay window. We were still trying to read the menu and the girl said again "pull up to the pay window ". We were not even allowed to read the menu. We stopped here after church a couple of weeks ago. The order process was a little overwhelming and rushed, but we ordered what we wanted. The seating and decor is very cool and comfortable. We hung out there for at least an hour. The doughnuts were very tasty and unique - heavy and kind of messy but yummy! We also got the sausage, sage and fig jam biscuit which was great!
