This place has definitely gone downhill through the years. When they first opened this location, the donuts were always fresh and the staff was friendly upon walking in. My last experience here has me not wanting to return. The donut case was full and they looked delicious. They still provide a wide variety of donuts. However, they tasted as if they had been sitting for awhile, even though I got there early morning. It was missing the freshness that used to be there at Jack's. It also tasted like they decreased in quality ingredients significantly. I will unfortunately not be coming back, which is sad to say given their start. When I was living in Indianapolis for a short time in hotel rooms, I kept hearing about these donuts nonstop. Every local was like, "You HAVE to try this place before you leave." With how often I was in and out of the city for work, I started feeling like a regular at a few spots, so of course I had to add this one to my list. Found this place quite by accident. It was in the outlet lot that my hotel was in. I couldn't get out of my hotel fast enough so I left the hotel way too early and had some time to kill so I noticed the big sign that said donuts. Donuts ?!?!?! This acted like a magnet instantly crowded me towards it. The store had everything that a donut shop needed no big neon street sign just a storefront sign, saying Jack's donuts I was convinced this would be good and I was correct I ordered a cherry cake doughnut. I was impressed with the consistency of the donut, and the sweetness wasn't overwhelming. I was on the fence getting it because I don't particularly like cherry so that donut was a no go for me but only because I don't like cherries if you like cherries, this might be for you I also donut poles These were called something in particular, but I don't know what it was. Can't remember, but oh buddy... You should get these they're bigger than the average donut hole and they're not round. They're bigger than a normal donut hole and guess what they are two flavors they're like a chocolate and a vanilla twisted think of like an ice cream twist but this is a small doughnut. It's brilliant and genius and perfect. I had told them I only wanted like two or three, but they gave me like a half a dozen more than I asked for. I hate them later in the day and they still were super fresh if I hadn't switched hotels, I would've gotten these donuts every single day for the four days that I was in Indianapolis. My hotel was less than 5 minutes from Jack's so I stopped in for coffee before my meeting. The prices are reasonable and the cups huge. I ordered a large and was not prepared for the size of the cup. lol I like my coffee a little stronger than what I was served, but the flavor was good. We were served quickly. The glazed donut was melt in-your-mouth delicious. My husband had a colorful sprinkle donut. He liked his a well. On 2/5/26 I bought donuts from this location and they were stale. On 2/9/26 about 3:40pm I gave them another shot with my son with me. This time there were gnats flying inside the case hovering above the donuts. I made the young gentleman aware, and as I was leaving he didn't look as if he was removing the donuts from the case. read more

Jacks donuts is an Indianapolis Indiana donut chain that my family encounters on our weekend get away from Lousiville to Indy for my daughters cheer comp. We was staying at a nearby Marriott hotel in the same business center as this jacks location. We stopped by early in the morning before day 2 of her cheer comp and got an assorted dozen and some hot chocolates The inside had a very fun and vibrant atmosphere and the workers were nice and patient when we did our donut selections. All the donuts we tried here were very good and fluffy. My personal favorite was the glazed and my wife enjoyed the raspberry cream cheese a lot. Also at the time she was pregnant and had gestational disburses and said these donuts didn't make her sugar spike at all. So she said to make sure I add that in for the diabetics of the world. Overall we had a good experience here and they had tasty donuts. Pricing wasn't bad and unlike other places trending attic they don't mark up the price of the dozen based on how many specialty donuts you get. So that's nice! read more

I ordered a donut cake for my daughter's birthday. When we went to pick it up, they didn't have it. Apparently, you have to pay for it ahead of time and the person who took the order wrote down my wrong number. Thanks, Jacks. First time we order a dozen they tasted like they had been baked the day before and sat out all night. The second time the same thing, and we were confused, they had such a high rating. The third and last time we will ever order jacks we got long hair baked into one of the cake doughnuts and again tasted old and very amateurishly made. Like most donuts, Jack's donuts are best when they are fresh and still warm. So, for maximum donut enjoyment, try to stop by when they've just refilled the case. When is that? I have no idea, but your best bet is in the morning. I got a glazed twist donut, and it was warm and fresh, so it was amazing. My kids got a sprinkle donut and it was slightly less fresh, but they didn't care because it had sprinkles on it and they are children and don't know any better. The house coffee tastes ... interesting. It's not my favorite, but if you put cream and sugar in your coffee, it might not taste as funny. If you take your coffee black, you might think it tastes kind of like hot prune juice. read more

Jack's opened originally in 1965 in New Castle and has taken Indy by storm. This location opened in September of 2017.. a great location around lots of businesses. I was sitting in my office and craved something sweet, so away I went to Jack's to grab a dozen assorted donuts for my co workers. Good experience. Unfortunately I came late in the day (around 1pm) and they were out of some of my favorites so make sure to get there early! Glazed donut- a little dry, I've had better before but still great. Chocolate frosted white fluff- this was by far my favorite. So soft and moist. Would come back just for this donut. This Jack's Donuts location is located in Intech Park, which is great for my gas tank but terrible for my waistline, lol. The only time I've encountered a wait was on National Donut Day, and even then, the staff moved swiftly and efficiently. They offer a huge chocolate yeast donut, iced rolls and cinnamon buns.The donuts were fresh and moist. What I liked was the cake donuts were not extremely thick. They were actually smaller than the yeast donuts! The yeast donuts I did not eat but were reported to be good donuts but again thicker than your average yeast donut.
