This review is ONLY regarding the gluten-free and vegan options. The regular donuts are fine! I was told they do not have vegan donuts, period. They do have 2 vegan ice cream choices, but i did not try. They have a gluten-free donut, but they are small er than the regular donuts. I would NOT recommend for GF or vegan donut options. Parlor donuts is the joint for Gluten-free, dairy-free and even keto. To the business owner: The very first thing I asked the young lady at the counter was if you had vegan donuts, and SHE said YES. We went back and forth and back and forth and she said she would ask but turned back around and said she was confused and there were no vegan donuts. Hence in my review I said they have no vegan Donuts period. I plainly said in my review this was only concerning GF and vegan and stated they have vegan ice cream options and stated, but I did not try. You can't tell a reviewer how to review the products. I did not at all mention the service, but now that you want to open that can of worms, the service is lacking, and apparently, it's from the top down. I never said you claimed to have vegan. I am reviewing and directing my comments to those who are looking for GF and vegan options. My review stands!
These donuts were delicious! When we went in, the person working there was patient and kind, and we didn't feel rushed in making our selections. My favorite was lemon raspberry, and my kids seemed to really like fruity pebbles (of course!) and the chocolate. Our donuts were ready quickly and were delicious.
What a great spot in the neighborhood! I was pleasantly surprised by all the customizable options as well as the specialty donuts they had on the menu. Since it was my first visit I went with a specialty donut and one seasonal donut, but I preferred the specialty option (a blueberry cheesecake). They were both made fresh to order which was incredible. I was also pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of donut for the price. We found a picnic table right outside the store in a grassy area and enjoyed our donuts outside. I will definitely keep this place in mind for a future dessert or morning treat!
Yum - tried dole whip, cookie dough shake and donuts - all great. The milkshake was the smoothest best consistency - not sure the secret ingredient but the nailed it. Would recommend - 100%
I finally made it to Ohana and I was pleasantly surprised. The tiny shop was decorated with a beach vibe. I normally don't like cake donuts but since they were fresh out of the fryer, they were so good. I placed an online mobile order and it was ready right when I got there. My only complaint is that my vanilla latte as not very good, it didn't have much flavor. Also since I ordered a big box of donuts and they are fresh, some of the glaze started to melt off by the time I took them home.
4 stars. Solid cake donut... and that means A-LOT coming from someone who believes yeast reigns supreme. You know it's good when you can eat one plain - no frosting, no toppings, just donut. It's got just the right amount of sweetness. Now, they lost half a star because the plain ones cost the same as the fully loaded ones. Why, Ohana? And the ice cream is pricey, too. Definitely not a low-cost treat option, but what is right now? The breakfast sandwich is really tasty, but they only have American cheese. This item could be elevated by offering a natural cheese option, preferably cheddar. Service is great. They greet customers with a smile as they enter and a friendly 'thank you for coming in' as they leave. That kinda stuff is important to me. WiFi here is solid - it's becoming one of my preferred spots when I need a change of scenery from my home office. And it's locally owned!
First thoughts...super disorganized. Lots of young people working I guess it was controlled chaos. The dounut board with the shelf : there isn't any signage to say what you are suppose to do. A few sheets of paper laying on the shelf and a bowl of pencils. We didn't notice it till we actually already ordered. Dole whip was exactly like what we had at The Dole Plantation in Hawaii. Tasted like a fresh pineapple. Maple bacon breakfast sandwich. I should have gone without the maple drizzle. It put way too much sweentness on top. The bacon on top was great and the dounut itself was not overly sweet. It is a good size for a sandwich. It could have been hotter. We got two dounuts. One with vanilla icing with oreo and one with chocolate icing with chocolate sprinkles. I shouldn't have left this decision to my husband because he will always go for something chocolate. The dounuts alone were good totally different texture than the typical cake dounut. The toppings do add the sweetness the dounut lacks alone. I'd get something other than chocolate next time. Young man working was very friendly and engaging with the customers. I think he is part of the family that owns the shop. I do have one concern if you have nut allergies. The toppings were in open square containers right next to each other on a counter behind the cashier/display. Last thought. The sidewalk outside the store front could use a power washing and some sprucing up.
I only got 4 donuts but the box was super heavy because these boys are loaded. Soooooo fresh and tasty. Finally a donut place with very creative flavor combinations I haven't seen elsewhere. They taste better than they look (they had to survive the drive), and the customer service was awesome. The puppy chow donut is just??? Everything I ever wanted. Definitely recommend.
Sometimes I'll grab donuts for my crew at work, so I decided to get some from far away. This place seemed to have good reviews and great options. I've had many donuts in my time but nothing like this. The inside was modern and comfortable with ice cream, coffee, and donuts. What's not to like? I ordered 8 donuts of varying selection. Based on my coworkers reactions, these are some of the best donuts they have had IN THEIR LIFE. I agree with them. I'd recommend these donuts to anyone passing through Fishers.
Ordered a couple dozen donuts to take into work and these were a HUGE hit! There are so many possibilities I asked them to just give me an assortment and you can tell by the picture they did and amazing job! I swear these are some of the best cake donuts around. Make sure you have a fresh hot cup of coffee or some milk on hand though, these little guys are rich, but oh so good!
Family and I went to Ohana's for a mid day snack. There was a small line but the employees did their best to make sure everyone felt welcomed and understood all the different options on their menu. We ordered their breakfast sandwich with bacon and all the fixing, a dole whip float, dole whip ice cream, and a donut sundae. All were a huge hit with my family. My kids were devoured their treats and they split the breakfast sandwich. The only time I've had Dole Whip is when we are visiting the Disney Parks, the version that Ohana makes is on par with Disney's DW. My son was asking for more treats to eat on the road . Overall, it was a great experience, can't wait to go back and try other items on their menu.
Looking for fun donuts? You've come to the right place! Ohanalulu has several different icing flavors and toppings like cereal and candy that you can mix and match in several different delicious combinations. The base donuts are great too--they're cake donuts which adds to the overall mouthfeel. They're not just a donut place--they have several ice cream flavors and also serve dole whips (like at Disney!). One of my favorite local pizza places, Passione, is also around the corner. This would be a good dessert option after dinner there!
If you love Dole Whip like you love Disney, you'll come here all of the time! I hope they expand over to the northwest side of town because it's a haul for us. We would go more often if it was closer. Haha! It's dangerously delicious. Their donuts are made in house. It smells so good when you walk in! Donuts are made to order. My donut weakness! My first trip to Ohana donuts in 2024 and I can't believe I lasted 6 weeks. My coconut donut was warm and she frosted it & added the coconut in front of me. I ate inside for the first time and lost a star b/c none of the 4 tables or the counter were cleaned (even though there was only a table of a mom w/ 2 toddlers eating inside). They may have had rush of donut-lovers dining inside prior to our arrival. It didn't take away from the loveliness of the coconut donut! read more

My kids love going into ohanalulu. My daughter loves the ice cream of pineapple whip choices and my son's go to are the doughnuts. This visit, we tried their new item: doughnachos, their small 6 or 12 pack of doughnuts covered in flavorful toppings and the option to add on a scoop of ice cream to really secure that sugar rush! We had the Oreo doughnachos with Oreo ice cream. It was really good, glad I didn't order anything because both kids hit their sugar walls so mom got to sample both left overs. read more

Usually I have an good experience here but today I got my smoothie and the lady did not put strawberry in it only peach, then while I was drinking it I kept tasting pieces of plastic in it after every sip, there was also something black in my smoothie as well. read more

They brought the Obama Donuts truck to the school I teach at one day, and what a great treat! I am not usually a donut person, especially a cake donut. However, these were amazing! I had the chocolate with sprinkles and brought my husband home a lemon with raspberry. Both were so good. (like moan while you eat them good) I love the idea of the donuts being the same and then picking your own glaze and toppings! This place was great, and I highly recommend it! read more

M and I, along with some friends went here after dinner for some dessert. I had heard of this place in passing a few months back and was always intrigued. I do love donuts and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to try it out! This place has everything you can think of, from donuts to ice cream to shakes and Dole Whip! We tried a bit of everything and all of it was great! For those of you with a big sweet tooth, I would highly suggest you head to this place! I got a vanilla icing with sprinkles donut as suggested by the cashier working -- it sounds generic I know, but she was so right! It was absolutely amazing and the donuts themselves were cooked perfectly and had a nice crunch on the outside! I can't wait to go back and try the morning breakfast donut sandwich! read more

Walked into Ohanas with a warm smile on my face! I thoroughly enjoyed the donuts that I had ordered. Although there menu is the field with other tasty options, I decided to opt for the French Toast and maple bacon donuts. Both donuts were delicious. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 was because they weren't those fresh warm donuts I was expecting .. but it also was 5pm haha. I would definitely recommend! read more
It's really quite simple. The donuts are amazing and the ice cream is amazing, but if you need more detail then allow me to elaborate for you. So I stopped in here on chance because I was really craving some graham central ice cream and the place I usually go to had ran out so I force my group to try this place out instead. Luckily they had graham central which was amazing as it always is because it's the best ice cream and I will hear no other answers! Anyway, as I'm waiting I notice their donut of the week is a Kit Kat donut. Now, I love Kit Kat so naturally my interest is peaked and I start peaking at the menu. At this point is where it all went downhill for me. There were so many good options and it was pretty affordable for a dozen so I said "why not" and went to crafting. I've only had a few so far, but from what I've had they're amazing! I love that they are more like a cake donut because I think it's better at keeping its shape and tasting better over a period of time compared to yeast donuts. I'll start off by prefacing my personal bias towards yeast donuts and not cake donuts. That being said I think Ohana donuts is a great place to check-out, especially if the customizable cake donut is your jam. When you walk in they have a variety of options for toppings, sizes, and beverages, and you have the ability to mix and match all the above on a convenient check-list ordering form. The Ohana Donut world is your oyster, providing you with plenty of excuses to come back and try something new! Their service was super quick, and their store aesthetic was fun and on-theme. They have more options then just donuts, and I will definitely have to come back to try their Ice Cream. I could definitely see this place being a fun treat for those with kids! read more

I'm not even a cake donut lover, but these donuts at Ohana have changed my mind about cake donuts. These have to be the best cake donuts I've eaten in Indiana. There are several flavors of glaze to choose from, as well as many different toppings, and everything is customizable. I'm also not one to care much about customizing my donut, but I have kids to please and not just myself, so in this case, customizing the donuts came in handy. (You know how kids are -- they always want something specific! Well, they can be specific here.) For real, the maple glazed donut was the best. It was like eating a soft, pillowy, sticky pancake. Except if that pancake was a delicious cake donut. I also tasted the raspberry glazed donut, which was excellent too, but I ate it after the maple donut, so it didn't quite live up to the maple flavor. Because we are living in the time of a pandemic, I will offer up some information that you might find helpful if you're considering visiting: When we were there, no one who worked behind the counter was wearing a face mask. This may or may not mean anything to you, so take that information and do with it what you will. As for me, I was disappointed to see that. But the donuts are so good, and everything else about the transaction was good, so I won't let it affect the star rating. I'm hoping that the no-mask-wearing was an anomaly that only occurred when I was there. read more
Welcome to the 'hood, Ohana! We finally go to Hawaii and we come back to see a Hawaiian-themed donut and ice cream shop in our city? Awesome! Ever had pineapple Dole whip? This is the only (as far as I know) spot in the city where you can get it. We kicked off day one thousand of quarantine by getting three boxes of six donuts and putting them on friend's doorsteps. For 20 donuts, it was only about $20 and put a ton of smiles on people's faces. And if you're doing the math and it's not adding up, I'll admit it -- I also got two extra donuts to eat in the car. Hah! They honestly are probably the best donuts I've had. The ones we got for us were the most basic -- just plain glazed, but were truly great. The donut was more of the cake type and kept its shape over hours and wasn't greasy. The glaze was perfectly sweet without being overly so. You can order takeout on their website (also linked up to their Yelp page currently), which makes it easy to customize each donut you want by selecting the frosting and topping type. You can also add customized ice cream to your order. We called in because we wanted them to just do a random mix of donuts in each box and they did a great job. When we arrived, we called them and they brought the boxes to our car (currently COVID19 time). I'd recommend ordering and paying online, as I should've done so I didn't' have to exchange a card in person. The owners here are super nice and you can tell they're super in touch with the community. Congrats on opening! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I waited 45 minutes for an order of 6 custom doughnuts and one iced vanilla latte. In the process of waiting for the doughnuts I watched two of the employees count through the tip jar, instead of fulfilling orders. In addition, after the long wait, my order was not even correct. The order was written down on piece of paper that other employees had trouble deciphering. There was no efficiency for making the doughnuts or an assembly line. Due to this process 3 patrons that came in before me had their orders fulfilled before mine. No organization at all in the business process. The doughnuts taste wonderful, but is 100% not worth the wait. With wonderful doughnuts in the area as competition, I will never visit this establishment again. Hate to see a good product be put to waste with terrible service and a bad business process. read more

Ohanalulu is a small donut/coffee/ice cream shop in Fishers. They have parking in front of the shop with plenty of parking spots. The interiors of the shop are pleasing and cute. They serve a wide variety of fresh donuts and to make your morning delicious you can choose freshly brewed coffee from the selection. I love the warm freshly baked oven-glazed donuts. Service is fast and the staff is friendly. I will try the icecreams next time and update the review. I recommend this place. read more
Disney fans ... unite!! This is the go to spot to get your Dole Whip fix...and it is delish! Ok...so, now that has been said....on to the finer points! Surrounds / vibes Move over "big name" coffee spot....this place has the most chill environment. The color scheme and deco is mod contemporary and inviting feel. They even have what looks like a game board....entertainment fir the kids anyone??? Concept So, this place offers hot drinks, cold drinks, ice cream and donuts...the most creative part is that you get to "build your own" donut. That's right...pick your base, choose your icing, choose your toppings. They'll even make it a donut Sundae...if you happen to be craving ice cream and donuts. This is definitely a place I will be visiting again soon...Especially since there is so much variety with the added benefit of enjoying it in a chill place (if you have the time). read more

We recently decided to try out Ohanalulu to get some customized donuts! And it definitely did not disappoint! When we walked in we were greeted by very nice workers, they were so great. I asked about the gluten free donuts and they told me they took allergies very serious. They have separate icings and toppings for gf, change gloves and box separately! I ordered a vanilla icing with raspberry drizzle and a chocolate icing with m&ms. The vanilla with raspberry was my favorite! So delicious! For my children (regular diet not gluten free) one ordered a vanilla with m&ms, chocolate icing with Oreos and one ordered a small kids scoop of strawberry ice cream. They loved it and have been asking to go back soon! Love this place, can't wait to try different topping and icing combinations! read more
Yum~~ What a fun experience!! When you walk in look for the menu paper to fill out what you want on your doughnuts. Walk up to the cashier and hand over the filled out menu. Your name will get called in few minutes. What I picked ... Regular icing Strawberry drizzle w fruity pebbles Vanilla icing w fruity pebbles Lemon icing w fruity pebbles There are so many options to choose from ex Oreo crumbs to coconut flakes and etc. I thought price was very reasonable. I didn't have a chance to try their coffee since I ordered the doughnuts for take out. It's a definitely fun way to have doughnuts. The plaza has good number of parking spots. The store has only few tables so pick the right time to go if you are planning to go with kids. read more

A Yelp event led me here, and I'm so glad it did. I started the visit off with a courtesy breakfast sandwich and donut. Breakfast donut sandwich(sausage) was both sweet and savory. I decided to try it loaded: bacon and drizzle. Very good. Next I tried a donut with strawberry icing. It was tasty as well. I got a mango smoothie to wash it all down. Although full of sugar, I enjoyed my breakfast. The shop was clean and decorated with a Hawaiian theme. Staff was friendly. Seating options inside and a few outside. read more

Pro tip: build your own donut! If you're a dole whip fan, definitely get one as well. I'm not a sweets person but I was pleasantly surprised with Ohana. Their service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We ordered a breakfast donut sandwich with sausage, egg, cheese, and maple bacon crumbles (a perfect balance of savory and sweet), a dole whip (the tried and true classic), and a chocolate shake. We asked for extra cherries on the shake and they gave us not one extra but 5 cherries! My husband was thrilled. read more
