We had a meeting at the MD and so, after that, we saw a donut place. Boy am I glad! Because we had the fine stop we hade made to try the best looking ones and their coffee too! Was simply amazing. We got there around 10:00 AM and we were happy to see them but they kept the shop good! We ordered 4 crullers cream filled sand two custard with delicious chocolate icing! As well as some Bismarck's with Carmel.., and we got a fresh and warm apple fritter too! After we cut some up to share together and we both felt like we children once again! We had excellent. It's also very cool to meet the owner of the shop too. It's a great experience to have when you find a great doughnut place that's far and above Duncan Doughnuts and it right on Scaterfield! My man's family live in Anderson, and when we've come to visit the last few times, they always buy donuts from Deluxe Donuts. MAN O MAN are they the best donuts I've ever had! The best ones there are the Maple glazed with nuts, which is usually the Manager's Special donut. So mapley and carmely and mmm mmm good. The donut part is soft, and tastes just like old-fashioned donuts, not that Dunkin Donuts crap. They had so many other choices of donuts, too! Strawberry glazed, chocolate creme, glazed, coffee glazed, cake with crunchy sugar on the outside, and sooo many more. And the best part is they are dirt cheap! I got 7 donuts for $4, what a steal! Just moved to the area and have driven by Deluxe Donuts many times to and from work. The girlfriend suggested we go in and grab some donuts this morning. And let me tell you, wasn't disappointed at all. Staff was very friendly and helpful. With it being our first time and so many options available, definitely helped with some amazing choices. Ended up getting a dozen donuts, I'm a fan of filled, where the girlfriend isn't. I got, blueberry, Bavarian cream, black raspberry, spiced apple, and a strawberry filled. The perfect amount of donut to filling ratio, and nice and fluffy and airy. Girlfriend ended up getting a blueberry, spiced pumpkin, spiced apple cake donut, a traditional cake (cinnamon coated) chocolate cake, strawberry frosted, and maple frosted. 10/10 would highly recommend. Will for sure be back to try all the other donuts they have to offer. read more

Disappointed. 1st time there. Was there at 6:30am on a Tuesday. The doughnuts were very fresh but much smaller then other places. The powdered Bismarck was super small and barely had any filling. The little triangle doughnut that was suppose to have apples inside had ONE small piece of apple in it. I was getting a half dozen at I think like $6.70. When I went to check out she said $10.80 I was like ummm no way I am paying over $10 for 6 doughnuts. She replied well you have some more expensive ones in here. I replied it says no where that some are more, if it did I would have picked different. Asked if I could switch out some and she kind of grumbled and started to put the more expensive ones BACK IN THE CASE. The man behind me stopped her and said you can not do that it is against the board of health, so she stopped. Like I said Disappointed. read more

The customer service was spot-on. I had to buy over 100 donuts for a work meeting and the girl was so helpful and patient with my order. Yesterday was my first visit to this Delux Doughnuts. I wasn't sure at first how they would measure up to the doughnut places I knew growing up. I am pleased to say they have surpassed my expectations. The doughnuts and doughnut holes were soft and moist, as they should be with just the right amount of glazing and fruit. This is a pretty average 24/7 donut place. There were lots of people who spoke very highly of it and I was disappointed. I'm not sure if there was just too much hype but, I didn't think the donuts were anything special. I really appreciate that they have a student discount. For the price, the donuts aren't too bad. They don't have a huge variety of flavors that I was expecting. The inside is pretty dated-that's expected of most 24/7 donut places.
