A little kids' corner with the cutest wooden and felt coffee & pastry toys The most adorable little treehouse bookshelf that makes story time feel extra magical Music playing so you aren't worried if your little one gets a little loud A cozy, plant-filled aesthetic that makes you want to stay awhile Delicious coffee (I'm always getting the Cinnamon Roll Iced Latte ) plus plenty of other drink options Changing tables and high chairs that make bringing kids so much easier It's the kind of place where parents can sip their coffee while kids can play, explore, and read. You can find caffeine in many forms here: lattes, cold brew ... whatever else. My mind is blanking on all of the other coffee drinks, because I just ordered a cup of the house blend to go (black). It was just the thing that I needed. I drink my coffee very slowly, so it's important that my coffee taste good as it makes its way from piping hot to lukewarm. The black coffee at The Caffeinery tastes good in all temperatures! What a relief. Sometimes, coffee will taste more bitter as it gets cold, but that's not the case with this coffee. It was good from start to finish. There's a little play space for kids here, which I love to see. I wasn't visiting with my children, but when I was a young mom, I was always on the lookout for restaurants and cafes with nooks for kids. That's really cool that The Caffeinery has a play area for children here. Parking is on the street, and I had no probably finding a free parking space.

Their menu is overwhelming with all the many options, but I've got my favorites down, and their Mocha is their signature drink. You can get any of their drinks hot, iced, or frozen, and they have espresso, coffee, tea, smoothie, and energy drink options. They now serve Concannon's donuts, and locally made Sea Salt & Cinnamon burritos/cooler-case items. A microwave is available inside for customers who prefer to warm up their items. There is seating and Wifi if you need a workspace. And the employees have been friendly every time I've visited. There is also a drive-thru for easy ordering.

It was about seven minutes from my hotel, which wasn't that bad. Navigating around the building wasn't difficult, but it was a little confusing Learned that the coffee they use is Crimson Cup... which is made locally in my hometown in Ohio. Coffee was good. I was disappointed only because the coffee was crimson as I was hoping to have something roasted locally in Muncie. Tasted great tho. The bakery items I chose were not my favorite. The spinach pastry tasted like something you would get on an airplane. The butterscotch squares were good but way too sweet for my liking. As nice as the owners were and as good as the coffee was I probably would look for a local roaster only because I am from out of town.

I was not impressed at all by this place. They have moved to a larger location at the airport, but…read moreI don't think the type of food they serve warrants an actual restaurant. I thought the little ice cream shop they had before was enough for what they serve. I understand they just reopened at the new location and are working out "kinks", but if they have ran previous restaurants in the past, which I believe is the case, I don't think there is any reason for the terrible service. Our waitress, which is one of the owners ran around like a chicken with her head cut off and barely came to our table the entire time. We never got drink refills and the table behind us had to tell her that they wanted drinks, she didn't even ask. Then, I tried to place a to go order and she told me to wait a minute, and then took forever to come back. When she came to get an empty plate, I had to remind her that I wanted to place an order and she was almost gone before I could get it out. Then there was the food....I got the taco salad, which I could've made better at home and my husband got the tacos with chips and salsa. He said the taco shells were stale and the chips and salsa were just out of a bag and bottle. I just didn't see the appeal to this place at all. Maybe it was just what we ordered, but it doesn't seem restaurant worthy. I don't really see this place lasting.
