We love Cammack Station! Great burgers, hot dogs, fries, tots. The ambiance is nice and bright retro theme, although it can be a bit echoey and get loud when they're busy. Strawberry shortcake is a must - definitely get it when in season!

Cammack Station was exactly the midwestern Americana diner experience we were in search of on a Saturday in October! We were greeted by beautiful fall decorations as we approached the front entry, and the fall/Halloween decor continued inside. The cool retro vibe of the restaurant is so well done and gives guests a lot to look at and admire from days long ago. We must've been giving off newbie vibes so the friendly employee behind the counter provided us with guidance: grab a menu, seat yourselves wherever you'd like, place your order at the counter, and then wait for your name to be called to pick up your order. We ordered the Campfire Burger, Chili, Breaded Tenderloin, and an order of Frings (fries & onion rings combo = genius!). For sandwiches, you're offered a choice of bun or Texas toast and we did one of each. Everything was so tasty; prepared as ordered and served fresh and hot. We are planning to return soon and bring my folks along who will love this place!

Great spot! In town visiting and looking for a lunch spot. They knocked it out of the park! The food was excellent and value was great. The staff was attentive and what a cool atmosphere.

This place is in a crossroads of a town between Yorktown & Muncie, Indiana. Found it last month by accident for my birthday dinner and absolutely loved it!! Traveling back home I brought my aunt & uncle here for lunch and they fell in love with the place too!! I got my usual of a breaded tenderloin, onion rings & a chocolate shake. Great decor with old time signs, gas pumps and oldies music.

The facility is still a lot of fun, large and great for groups. You will find things clean, welcoming and comfortable. The staff here is friendly and helpful as the process to get and pick up food is not entirely obvious. The strawberry short cake is refreshing and delicious! The berries are fresh. The cake was moist and tasty. The whole set of flavors just invited you in and quenches your sweet tooth! The sweet potato fries were okay. They were limp and a bit soggy. The caramel sauce was a nice touch. It would have been nice to have a fry that was a bit crispier and thicker. The chicken salad sandwich was pretty good. The chicken salad was smooth without having a heavy mayo taste. The chicken was shredded and thin. The filling was fresh and tasty. The Texas toast was also soft but toasted with a slight crisp. The potato salad was okay. Everything was fresh. The "sauce" had a slight mayo base with not many other non-potato additives. The potato salad was mashed into a cup. Overall the potato salad was rather bland and lacked some pop that would really draw you in.

Fantastic experience! The staff was friendly, the restaurant had a great atmosphere and was spotless, and the tenderloin sandwich with tots was delicious. I'll definitely return on my next visit to Muncie!

Where to begin Shane is the best my first time at the place and I felt welcomed like family. I came to town to visit my girlfriend and on the very last day wanted to visit Cammack Station (more like come back station). I was blown away the stuff from the 50s had me remembering times spent with my grandparents my pops loved and even in his passing continues to love Elvis, my grandma and me watch the Andy Griffith show and the place is filled with hidden gems from the shows and lives . The food was next level everything was hot the ice cream was some of the best I've had. The best part was the service the music and the food lots of space for big or small groups and the place holds a memory of a time when things were simple and happy, DO NOT sell yourself short do not skip this place life is short not to enjoy delicious food and memories with the ones you love this has become one of those places for me as I hope to continue this tradition each time I'm able to visit.

Epic pork tenderloin, excellent ice cream, and best of all is the ambiance. High ceilings with lots of vintage stuff, oldies music, etc. The space used to be a grocery store and was converted into this restaurant.

The building was super cool, lots of photo ops and memorabilia. The food was good, and the service was quick and friendly.

I love this place. My grandparents took me here growing up. Tasty food served hot. A clean interior with colorful lights and retro gasoline pumps and advertising. Friendly staff are happy to answer any questions about the menu or where to order and pickup.

I don't play with donuts. I'm a donut-eating fool. Donuts are my thing. I have glaze running through my bloodstream. I've never eaten better donuts than the ones I got from Concannon's in Muncie. In fact, I'm planning another trip to Muncie JUST to visit Concannon's and get some donuts. What's a two-hour round-trip drive when you can be rewarded with amazing donuts during your journey? I visited Concannon's by myself, and although I wanted one of each of the donuts they had in the bakery case, I limited myself to three donuts: a glazed pretzel-shaped yeasted donut, a blueberry cake donut and an old fashioned donut. My go-to at any donut shop is usually a glazed twist, but they don't have glazed twists here! Instead, they have a glazed pretzel-shaped donut, which turned out to have all of the elements of a glazed twist, but it was just bigger and more twisty. It was amazing, pillowy, slightly sweet and even more delicious when you pull it apart with your fingers and eat it bit by bit. The blueberry cake and old-fashioned donuts were my favorites, though. These melted in my mouth, especially the old-fashioned. It was so tender and fresh. The old-fashioned is one of those kinds of donuts that I wish I enjoyed with some coffee, but instead, I ate it solo while dancing around delightedly in my hotel room. Concannon's has lots of other sweets, desserts and baked goods, like cakes (including mini cakes and individual cake slices), cookies, whoopie pies, chocolates, popcorn, candies and all sorts of other goodies. There is also a cafe with coffee and other beverages available. This is a must-visit if, like me, you love donuts, but also a must-visit in general because it's such a Muncie institution.

I have been in Muncie now for awhile. It amazes me that people eat this stuff. It's all the exact…read moresame stuff. It's not real pastry not even close. It's tons of bread w/ a little icing. Everything there is buttercream. They try to make you think it's different but it's not. You have to give them about 3 days for a whipped icing cake. Last time they were so rude I just walked out. I just don't know why people would want to waste calories on something so dang bad. And everything is always so dry. So I started making deserts so my friends here could see what a real dessert taste like. What a real donut is suppose to taste like. Now they have never ate there sense. If they took the time to make stuff fresh & quit cutting corners. They might save there company. Was so excited about there deli. Everything they just order in & it's all bad too. I would have ate there for lunch every day. It's not hard to use fresh ingredients. So I feel for people that think this is good. Step out & try somewhere in fishers or Indy or BroadRipple! Now you will have some epic pastry & you won't eat or waste this crap in your body. Gonna put sugar in your body make sure it's at least good! lol But if you don't care then my opinion does not matter. This is for people who do care. & need a little push! ‍
