The owner, Doug, began restoring the historic building in 2019. Now he is working to add dining space upstairs for another 15 tables to help accommodate the demand. I was steered to the restaurant by a fellow Yelper from Virginia. I did not hesitate to make the 90 mile round trip drive for lunch. The dining room is small with a couple cloth covered tables and a bar seating. Soft country music fills the room and a gorilla hangs from the ceiling. The tenderloin is incredibly tender, fresh, juicy and hot with a perfectly seasoned breading. I ordered the regular size tenderloin, Doug also serves a larger version that is about a pound of meat. And don't skip the fries - hand cut and crisp. The fries are 5 star too. The service is impeccable, the kind of small town service that makes you feel special. We loved hearing Doug's story. The interior itself is nicely laid out and easily accessible. The employees were super friendly. They also offer catering. There's a combination of higher-top tables and regular tables.
