WOW! Who would have thought one of the best icecream cones would come from a little unassuming place in Anderson, IN!! I have had many ice cream cones in my day, and I stick to vanilla to keep it simple. This one was extremely creamy and just really good. The prices are extremely reasonable and they have various size cones. There is lots of tables all around the property so you can sit and enjoy your cone comfortably. They do close at the end of September for the winter so you can't go until they open back in in the spring.

The ordering window and other spaces. Empty dish because I couldn't wait to taste my treat.

This place is like going back to your childhood. I don't think it has changed much from the 1950's as far as the building and the awnings and umbrella tables. The ice cream was crazy good. We were there on a late Sunday afternoon and the place was packed. It was amazing at how fast they served the delectable treats. We can't wait to take our son and his family to see their reaction! And the prices are great, too! Go, you won't regret it!

My fave ice cream place! I don't live in the state, but when I come to visit, this I'd first on my list! I was just noticing yesterday how many items they have added to the menu. They really try to keep up with new things to make the customers happy! Sometimes, you definitely have to wait, but it's worth it! It's definitely a must go in Anderson!

I had been counting down the days until they opened!! Oh, it was worth the wait! The Blue Moon Ice Cream is the BEST! The Lemon was pretty amazing too!

I've been here a couple time for I've cream and while I wouldn't say it's really anything too special, it's good ice cream at a reasonable price and you get to support a local business instead of a big chain. I've had a flurry (blizzard) which was good and a milkshake a couple times (the peanut butter is good and not too rich, but the lemon just tastes like a vanilla milkshake). I haven't had any of their actual food but It's cheap and I bet is good.

On I-69, hungry, I took EXIT 226 & had great steak @ Montana Mike's. Using Mike's WIFI I consulted my trusty YELP App, for local recommended attractions. This 1950's type "EATERY," for a "post dinner" frozen dessert, would be an EXCELLENT experience, and it was. As I approached the business, I saw consumers of their frozen treats, scattered about the grounds. As a single traveler, I was entertained, while consuming my own DAIRY delight. I opted for a simple mixed vanilla-chocolate cone, & joined the gathering, consuming their's at benches, tables, & out under the giant oaks. There was little doubt that "US" fans of frozen treats were really enjoying ours, & that those eating their MEALS, we're happy with theirs too. If you're looking for a NOSTALGIC, outdoor eating experience, you'll enjoy this regional historic treasure.

Small town gem. We love to walk to Frazier's on summer evenings. The turtle sundae is a winner!

Food is just ok, however perfect for desserts. Would highly recommend the turtle sundae, or the several kinds of swirl ice cream.

Two clerks were making cones and working when we entered. I chose an Expresso Brownie Swirl ice cream on a cone from a selection of 20 or so flavors. A "single" scoop was huge, but I was able to finish it. And it was delicious. My husband had a Black Cherry with chocolate chips, which he devoured. Neither one of us shared, each ate in our own little ice cream comas. There is a bit of seating inside or outside, in the park, there is more seating. The staff were friendly and you could tell they liked their jobs. Prices were reasonable. There is dedicated parking behind the building. I'll make Libby's a regular stop on my visits to Greenfield.

I had a coconut cream shake that was delightful. It actually seemed to have an actual piece of pie blended into it. I could tell the ice cream itself was good quality. My wife had a dulce de leche shake that was equally as good. We haven't had ice cream from Libbys in several years. It was even better than I remembered. As great as the ice cream was, the two young women working today were equally great. Libby, if you read this, let them know we appreciated the great service and their sunny personalities.

The orange booths inside reminded me of the 1970s, but seemed newer. The walls are decorated with kitschy country decor. The sign outside claimed the best Bar-B-Q in Indiana, so I decided to give their BBQ sandwich a try with fries and coleslaw. The sandwich was large with lots of saucy sweet pork. The was a slight tang to the sauce, which was good. The fries were crispy and hot. The side of coleslaw was small but creamy and tasty. In response to peer pressure and my lack of self control, I finished my meal off with a tangerine soft serve cone. A small cone was $4. The ice cream was perfectly refreshing and delicious (and the best part of the stop). The staff seemed tired and frustrated, and didn't waste time with pleasantries. Maybe they were understaffed as they worked both a walk up window and inside patrons. Tables needed to be wiped clean, but cleaning didn't happen during our visit. Despite the service, the place had great small town, local charm. I'd return to try the Coney Dog, which looked good. There's plenty of parking in their private lot.
