Stopped in by chance on a Sunday afternoon. What a delight! Great space, great music and fantastic service. Starting with the triple filtered water through dessert everything was delicious. Honestly. The French onion soup is a generous portion and a great sharing starter. So delish. The crusted cheese bread accompaniment a 10/10. Prime rib and pork chop so good. Nice side options with the peas and mashed potatoes a stand out, the crème brûlée was the real star of the show though. Nice portion with fresh cream and blueberries. Coming back next week for lunch with my mom and I'm very excited!

I just can't say enough good things about Michael's Bistro. You need to go check it out yourself and get the best meal you have had in a VERY long time.

I have lost track of how many times we have been here now. We have had a weekly standing reservation since they opened, but also hop in at other times as well. Even though our plan was to eat our way through the menu, because everything sounds amazing, before having something a second time, we have not yet made it through. We have enjoyed some weekly specials along the way, as well as not being able to resist some favorite dishes...Beef Bourguignon, Steak Diane. In addition to the wonderful menu, they have a great wine list and full bar. I recommend the wine flight and The Bobfather cocktail. Chef Shawn is not only a talented chef and sommelier, he has some great photography skills, as you can see from the photos on the wall. His entire team is fabulous and we look forward to our (at least) weekly visit for both great food and great service.

another great night at Michael's. excellent food and great wines. it was a realatively busy night. can believe pendelton people don't yelp.

At $9-10 each why not! Blueberry Lemon Drop was good, but the Watermelon was my favorite. We also tried the caramel apple and it was good too. For dinner I got the pork tenderloin sandwich with onion rings. Both were delicious and the server said all were made in house. What I loved about the onion rings was the super thick and crunchy beer batter. We also got some sort or chicken bowl that was a lot of food. Came with chips. That's not my particular thing but the person who ordered it loved it. They make all their own dressings and believe me when I tell you the spicy ranch is spicy. I loaded my onion ring up with that ranch and I thought I was going to pass out it was so hot. I still ate it just not as much at one of time. They have plenty of seating at the bar or tables inside and a few outside tables by the street where we saw people take advantage of the nice weather and brought their dogs. They have a small stage where they have live performances, I think someone was coming last night we were just there too early. They have pull tabs for those who are gamblers. The place was really clean and staff were friendly yet busy. Parking can be tricky so be prepared to walk some during peak times.

It is worth the drive!!! All pastas are made fresh. The staff was so friendly and accommodating! They have a piano player as well...what a treat! I sat in the back corner and took it all in! The food was outstanding, I ordered Linguine Frutti di Mare- homemade linguine ( delicious) served with clams, mussels, scallops? Shrimp, cherry tomatoes, evoo, garluc, parsley cooked in a white wine sauce!!! As you can see I absolutely hated it... lol! I has an expression and lava cake for dessert. The lava cake was a little overcooked- that is the only complaint.... Other than the lady sitting across the table from me that talked loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear her conversation. I wish people would be more observant and realize they don't have to talk so loud when they're sitting at their table it made it difficult to hear the piano player and it went from a relaxing stress free feeling to an annoyance. I was so happy when her food arrived. This place is very special. It's very small. I got in because it was very early in the evening. I believe their doors open at 5 o'clock. I would highly recommend reservations, but if you have a special occasion that you're celebrating, and it appeared that several people did this is worth the drive!

The parking lot tailgating before dinner is half the experience. Where else can you sip a drink next to a pickup truck, make friends with complete strangers, and then walk inside to eat a meal that makes you question every life choice that led you to lesser restaurants? The food is absurdly good. The famous Perkinsville Pork deserves its own state holiday. Portions are generous, flavors are bold, and the menu somehow manages to feel both elevated and unapologetically Hoosier. Service was friendly, the atmosphere was chaotic in the best possible way. Everyone having a great time. Come hungry. Come early. Bring a folding chair for the parking lot. Leave wondering why every restaurant isn't this much fun. 10/10. For my entrée, I got the pork loin as well because it was so good as an appetizer, and before that I started with the tomato soup, which was also excellent. This place has been a hit with my "21+" family due to the great food, great location, and usually good service. Minors are not allowed. Our most recent visit yesterday had less than awesome service but maybe she was having a bad day. The building is old with lots of wood paneling ... very comfy. I love the small town feel!! The restaurant vibe reflects the town. Everyone is very welcoming. I didn't catch bartenders name, but she was very friendly to everyone at her bar. She told us her favorites on the menu. I appreciated her knowledge about the restaurant and the menu. The bar area seemed a little dark, but that actually enhanced the experience of an old bar. We only sat in the bar area, I believe there is additional seating in another room, but I didn't look. I opted for a grilled tenderloin and a cup of beer cheddar jalapeño cheese soup. The sandwich's are Ala carte. The sandwich was bigger than I expected, that would have been enough for lunch. The trick with grilled tenderloin is that many times it is over cooked, so it is dry. This was cooked to perfection; cooked but still moist. The sandwich, with the "garden" was awesome. Now to the soup. I think she said they use wee Mac as the beer. The jalapeño was puréed. There was crispy bacon crumbled on top; I did not care for the bacon. The soup was odd to me as I was eating it. Because of the texture, it reminded me of corn chowder. There was a little spice/flavor from the jalapeño. What was odd to me, was it didn't wow me like I thought it would, but I kept eating it. So in the end, I think I really liked it bc I ate all of it!!! The menu is not large, but has a good variety for its size. The desserts were impressive, I just didn't have room for it. I could easily become a regular there!!

With this we ended up at Smith Family Farms Market on Saturday and purchased 3 beef filets for grilling on Father's Day. The service was great and the people were very friendly and helpful. BUT, the best part was the steaks. These were by far the best steaks we had grilled in a long while. They melted in your mouth they were so tender. I braised them over high heat for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes on each side. Then grilled them for 8 minutes on each side. They were very thick and turned out beautiful with slight pink center (temperature was about 150° - 155°). As said they were so tender.. We've found a new go to. Our thanks to the people at Smiths for making our Father's Day meal special!!!

This review is for Either Friday or Saturday Oct 8/9, 2021…read more I will say we tried them because they had 5 stars, but sadly only 19 people have reviewed the place, so either they have had more who do not use yelp or others do not leave reviews, which may have made up a difference, for as long they have been in business. I usually like to look thins up before trying local business, especially family owned one's out. I am giving two dates because right now I do not recall which date my partner went in to give these folks a try. Since moving down here we have been looking for a new butcher to shop at as our business was with another local butcher where we lived, so we were could frequent the butcher over store products as 9 times out of 10 butches product is fresher and better depending where you go. So like stated we wanted to give this location a try for the first time. Due to my current health situation with esrd, we tend to not go My partnered had picked up some jerky, a pork shoulder, and Italian sausages. So overall the jerky was ok, and everyone makes their jerky different, but I personally did not care for it, in cased asked why, it was too tough than what I am use to from others. The Italian Sausages, I will say I loved, and will definitely get more if and when we stop in again. Now the reason for 3 stars, I based on both the Pork shoulder and how customer service was handled. I would have given an extra star, but issue was not handled appropriately. I understand this is family ran, I understand how a business is to be ran as I had one for several years, I have as well watched a butcher work their business up north where I am from. The way this location handled issues when my partner called in is not customer service like. I am unsure if regulars get better care than new customers is all I am going to say there. My partner phoned in and the following happen: "She informed about the pork shoulder, was told "we have never had that kind of issue here" Rather than I am sorry and own up to the issue as if we were making something up, we got that and a store credit. So the way the pork shoulder was packaged was as follows: Saran wrap like plastic, and then wrapped in the white like paper. When unwrapping it on Sat or Sunday as it was never frozen, it was suppose to be fresh, I asked what the foul smell was, it was the pork shoulder. I am unsure if the meat was just going bad and this is why this was pushed over the tenderloin we wanted or what the issue was. To owners and staff, we may give you a try again in the near future, and then I will update this review, but until then this is my honest review of our experience of our first time with you guys. I wish it had gone better.
