Too much of a good thing. There was so much hot fudge in my sundae that I couldn't eat it. The ice cream to fudge/ cherry syrup/brownie ratio was wayyy off. It was so thick and rich with fudge and syrup that I couldn't finish it. There's was very little ice cream in the equation. I chalk some of this up to the staff not knowing how to make the dessert; they referred to their recipe book. They tried though! I would return but keep my order simple. My mate was happy with his PB and Reeces Peeces concoction. The building is nostalgic and fun.

Sadly they have changed this sandwich and I can no longer give it the praise of its predecessor. The spicy mayo sauce and cheaper cuts of meat were a huge downfall. I can't tell you how disappointed I was the last time I ordered this. I stand by the ice cream concoctions and will still support them, just bummed I can no longer enjoy what was once a superior club sandwich.

WOW! I cannot say enough positive things about The Barking Cow. My experience started outside the restaurant with all the cute signs and decorations. I went around 4 on a Friday, so right around when school got out and its very obvious that people around the town love this place. There were lots of people in the restaurant when we got there and after we finished placing our order the line was super long! The employees are attentive and extremely friendly. I ordered one scoop of a chocolate flavor (I forget the exact name) in a waffle cone and it was out of this world. The one scoop was plenty and made me extremely full. I tried a few others and they were all so good, it was hard to make a decision as to which one I wanted. It is very obvious they are committed to making high-quality ice cream flavors. Although I didn't try any of their food, many people in the restaurant had food that looked very pleasing. Overall, I recommend this place to anyone looking for some delicious, homemade ice cream, in a very cute, community-oriented location. There are many games and pictures to look at, which are very entertaining. I cannot wait to come back once I am back at school and try the food as well as different ice cream flavors they offer! They also have an ice cream challenge that rewards you a free t-shirt if you succeed!

Happy Camper and Banana Pudding. These are just a single scoop!

Great little local ice cream shop with really unique flavors! We tried the Happy Camper and Banana Pudding ice cream. Yum!

Pictured is two scoops, on play dough and the other cow tippin! I'm sure you can guess which is which. Both were great!

Beware...the crowds are big and the lines are long. But...it's worth the wait!! At the bottom is a medium sized cube of slightly warm shortcake. It is moist, sweet and slightly firm. The top of the cake has a thin layer of almost crispy granulated sugar - more sweetness! The bowl is piled high with fresh, lush, red strawberries. Some sweet, most firm and a little juicy. A good sized dollop of vanilla soft serve and whipped creme lay on top. The combination is delicious! It easily feeds more than one dessert lover for about $9.50. Strawberry Shortcake marks the start of spring season. Make a special trip to Upland to visit Ivanhoe's if you have never been there!

I don't understand the hype?…read more We stopped by Ivanhoe's for lunch during a work trip. I've been told the place is supposed to be an "Indiana destination location"... I don't get it. Ivanhoe's was ok, but nothing special. It's like a rundown and dilapidated Culver's, but with a smaller menu and the food isn't nearly as good. We got there at 11:40 and it was busier than a one-legged man in a butt kicking contest... It was literally like an AARP Club in there (we were the young whipper snappers). The service was friendly, but it took 40 minutes for us to order and get our food... Their operations were super slow and inefficient. The food itself was alright (decent pork tenderloin) and they have an ice cream menu the size of Texas, but overall it just wasn't anything to write home about. Ivanhoe's is your quintessential podunk small town Indiana restaurant, which is cool but not worth all the hype... Good? Yes. Great? No.

Two clerks were making cones and working when we entered. I chose an Expresso Brownie Swirl ice cream on a cone from a selection of 20 or so flavors. A "single" scoop was huge, but I was able to finish it. And it was delicious. My husband had a Black Cherry with chocolate chips, which he devoured. Neither one of us shared, each ate in our own little ice cream comas. There is a bit of seating inside or outside, in the park, there is more seating. The staff were friendly and you could tell they liked their jobs. Prices were reasonable. There is dedicated parking behind the building. I'll make Libby's a regular stop on my visits to Greenfield.

As great as the ice cream was, the two young women working today were equally great. Libby, if you read this, let them know we appreciated the great service and their sunny personalities.
