The gumbo was chocked full of seafood and the salad had the most delightful jalapeño vinaigrette. It usually comes with honey mustard but they were out. Happy mistake. That dressing was soooooo good! Honestly, I don't think I've ever enjoyed a salad dressing more. The only thing better than the food was the service. Sydney... "like Australia," as she introduced herself was attentive, personable, and made the experience memorable. I returned a few days later for Sunday brunch and ordered what I thought would be a larger salad. Unfortunately, it missed the mark - completely. There simply weren't enough greens to justify calling it a salad. On this visit, the service was noticeably slower. Our orders arrived at different times, some items were incorrect, and we were initially charged for things we didn't order. Thankfully, everything was addressed once we reviewed the bill. This is a solid breakfast place! They have a gluten free menu! They have great dishes! We sat at the bar and watched the very busy barista/bar keep, Ashley! She was kind to all and was keeping her cool! If you sign-up for their newsletter, you will get a free beignet dish! Now, the beignet dish is good. The beignets are made earlier in the day. So, not pippin fresh. They are served with an orange marmalade. Fresh orange in the marmalade. Very sweet but very tasty! I ordered the huevos rancheros! This dish was done very well! Absolutely will come back to try this again :) It is a small restaurant that is busy busy busy so I recommend setting yourself on the waitlist before showing up which you can do online! My husband, sister, and brother-in-law stopped in here for a late breakfast after spending a couple of hours at Top Golf a few weekends ago. We had a bit of a wait to be seated on a Sunday afternoon, but it was worth it! It was packed and they were efficiently moving customers in and out. There is a small waiting area inside, but it was raining when we first arrived and the inside was too full, so we did have to hangout in the rain a bit because there isn't an awning to stand under. We were seated in a roomy, comfortable booth and our drinks came out fast. Their Columbian blend coffee was great. My sister really enjoyed her seasonal iced latte, but I cannot remember what it was called. And you can never go wrong with a mimosa! Our food came out and was fresh and delicious. We all shared the bourbon street pancakes as a little sweet treat since we all chose savory entrees. It is a delightful little breakfast spot in a cute shopping area of Fishers with little shops. The area is very walkable, but it looked like a lot of nearby places were closed since it was a Sunday, so it would probably be more fun to visit the area on a Saturday. I had high hopes for Another Broken Egg Cafe, but spending $30 on a single, subpar meal was not what I expected. In true Yelp Elite fashion, I previewed the menu before coming in for breakfast, and I knew I wanted to try one of the cafe's signature mocktails. I was planning on getting the strawberry spritzer, but at the last minute, I changed my mind and ordered the seasonal blackberry smash. I definitely should've stuck with my first choice, because while the blackberry mocktail looked pretty, it was extremely sour and not refreshing at all. It was supposed to be mixed with ginger ale, but my drink was flat. Definitely not worth the $5.99 price tag. For breakfast, I ordered the strawberry pound cake French toast, and what I was served looked nothing like the photo on the website. I was disappointed because my food was cold and the French toast was very bland. It was served with a side of cheesy scrambled eggs and 2 bacon strips, which made the $14.99 price tag a little more reasonable. However, I could get pretty much the exact same meal at Perkins for a fraction of the price. My friend got the shrimp and grits, and for a restaurant that's supposed to be known for southern-style dishes, the shrimp and grits was a total let down. It was served like a stew in a brown broth, and there was so much melted cheese that it completely overpowered the dish. This is another item on the menu that is not worth the money. In the end, my breakfast came out to $30.29 (including tip) for ONE plate of French toast and ONE drink. This is absurdly expensive, and quite frankly, not worth the money, and I do not think I will be returning to Another Broken Egg Cafe. read more

Stopped by for breakfast to-go while on a road trip, ordered 4 entrees and a few drinks and it took about 15-20 minutes. I got the power bowl which came with grits, sausage gravy, a huuuge biscuit, eggs scrambled with tomato and onion, and two pieces of bacon. It was a huge portion, but perfect for fueling up for another long day of driving. Everything was seasoned well and steaming hot when we got it, and I drowned it all down with their fresh-pressed apple juice (a must). Well worth a try, thanks for the delicious brunch! read more

The food and service are unmatched here! Our server was very accommodating and was helpful in ordering. She gave us recommendations and was patient as we ordered. The food was SO good. I had a spinach scrambler. Eggs with spinach, onion, bacon, and cheese. The perfect combo. The cheese was perfectly melted and the spinach was cooked well. It also came with a bread choice and a side. I had the breakfast potatoes which were perfectly crispy! The only down side is that their coffee is not free refills! I had an iced coffee (just drip coffee...which was a very small cup filled to the brim with ice). It ended up being $5 for that. I had ordered another one since drip coffee is typically free refills at a breakfast place and it wasn't. I have been to a handful of locations in this chain but it has been a while since my last time in. I had a positive impression from these past visits, but I think that positivity increased with our visit to this shop. Located on the main drag in lovely Fishers, IN, it is in an area of elegant brick buildings made to look like factories and warehouses that have been reclaimed. Surrounding the shop-containing edifaces are several buildings with a similar exterior filled with condos. Overall, it presents an urban chic atmosphere for this restaurant. I should add that the visit was made easier by the fact that there was a decent amount of street parking and a couple of free parking garages. The interior was a little smaller than I expected but yet was adequate in size. There were seven in our party including our 3-yr old grandson, but there was no problem seating us on a Sunday afternoon at 1 PM. Our server attended to us quickly and did a solid job. She was certainly not Ms. personality-plus but she did do her job done competently, and I'll take that any day. The reason I was impressed beyond my expectations were the offerings on the menu. There were some very creative options. I chose the Mardi Gras Omelet, which was a three-egg creation with crawfish, shrimp, andouille sausage and red peppers. It was topped with tomato hollandaise. It was great. My wife chose the Skinny Omelet with asparagus, goat cheese and peppers with garlic cloves. It was also terrific. Our daughter got the Lobster Benedict and our son got the Crab Cake Benedict. Both were excellent. Our daughter-in-law got an enjoyable Gingerbread Waffle while our Grandson had the chocolate chip pancakes which he found to his liking. Overall, the food was outstanding and featured things not available just anywhere. The prices were commensurate with what I would expect for a place like this in a location of this kind. What did surprise me was the price of the coffee at $3.99 per person. That was excessive for coffee that I considered just adequate. At that price I expect something more special. But otherwise, the total price including food, drinks, tax and tip was $146 for six adults and a child. At about $21 person, it was reasonable for me considering what they delivered. In general, we were very happy with our experience on this visit. The food was great, the service was fine and the prices were fair. We'll look forward to our next visit. read more

Not worth it. Once the server discovered i was not drinking alchohol it was the last time i saw her. I got the louissiana bennidect and it was more or less ice cold. The poached eggs were pre prepped and sitting in a fridge and im sure the hope of the kitchen staff was the hollandase would bring the dish to temp... it did not. The only warm thing on my plate was the grits. All I can say is that I wish I took pictures!! I got the crab cake eggs Benedict with potatoes, and would be happy to have it as a last meal. The eggs were perfectly poached, the crab cake was "smashed" in the sense of being thinner and more crispy than your average crab cake (still more than plenty crab), and a nice and subtle heat radiated through the dish. The server was so kind, and since it was my first time, she brought out beignets for me. They were doused in powdered sugar, crispy on the outside, and so pillowy and hot inside. I've never been to New Orleans so I had no point of reference for their authenticity, but I do know they were delicious. By far the best breakfast joint in the area. The wait staff was working hard! There were 2 servers hustling around and the manager was helping them too. Probably took 30 minutes to get our food which if it was packed I could see but it wasn't. We also saw 2 tables larger than the 2 of us get their food before us. They actually entered the restaurant after we ordered so a little frustrating. This is the type of place that will bring out the Brunch Babes. Def a far cry from your grandparents diner. They have a great cocktail list. In fact, probably the biggest I've seen at a brunch spot. Best brunch I've had in a while. The AOII bartender gal waiting on us was very sweet and great at her job, and made us feel very attended to during their Saturday rush. The food was fantastic! I ordered a seasonal lemon curd French toast, which was absolutely divine, and my partner ordered a basic breakfast plate, which was terrific as well. Wow! What an amazing experience our entire family had during breakfast today!! The food was delicious and perfect, but one word is responsible for our incredible experience............. Corris. Corris was a host / server and she set the stage very early by welcoming us to Another Broken Egg Cafe. She explained the history of the restaurant, the style of their food and made sure everyone at our table could find something on the menu they would love. The dishes were absolutely perfect. We can recommend several omelets: The Skinny (Which Corris helped by father in law crafted to his perfection), The Mardi Gras, and the Bacquezo. Everyone at our table finished every single bite. Except Grandma, she had grits with her Sunrise Spinach Scrambler and had to take some home with her!! (Check out all the pics of these amazing items). The entire staff was so friendly. The location was easy to get to get to, just off the circle with plenty of public parking. Fishers used to be our home, so it was so nice to see this new (new to us) restaurant doing so well in this great community. From the moment, Maddie answered the phone to assure us the restaurant was open to David, the kind host who brought us to our table and stellar service by Mary, we loved every bit of this breakfast! I visited this location before and am surprised I have not reviewed it until now. For the first time, I ordered takeout of the lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes without the goat cheese and the fresh whipped cream. I did not even have to open the container to be able to smell the wonderful lemon zest. The pancakes were delicious, too. Food was fine, not memorable. Service was an absolute dumpster fire. Waiters take orders on tablets. Ours couldn't hack it and spent a full 10 minutes taking orders for 6 of us where we each repeated our orders 2-3 times to get it right. It was the most bizarre slow moving disaster I've been a part of. Maybe it's a new system but it felt like pulling teeth to order a waffle. Waiter also gave us a spiked coffee when we ordered a non-alcoholic one. When we brought that to his attention, he didn't take responsibility, didn't offer to get us the right drink, and still charged us for the spiked one.
