Wow! What an amazing experience our entire family had during breakfast today!! The food was delicious and perfect, but one word is responsible for our incredible experience............. Corris. Corris was a host / server and she set the stage very early by welcoming us to Another Broken Egg Cafe. She explained the history of the restaurant, the style of their food and made sure everyone at our table could find something on the menu they would love. The dishes were absolutely perfect. We can recommend several omelets: The Skinny (Which Corris helped by father in law crafted to his perfection), The Mardi Gras, and the Bacquezo. Everyone at our table finished every single bite. Except Grandma, she had grits with her Sunrise Spinach Scrambler and had to take some home with her!! (Check out all the pics of these amazing items). The entire staff was so friendly. The location was easy to get to get to, just off the circle with plenty of public parking. Fishers used to be our home, so it was so nice to see this new (new to us) restaurant doing so well in this great community. I could go on and on about how wonderful our breakfast was, but none of this experience would have been so memorable if it wasn't for Corris who was such an amazing, attentive person. Her personality just beams through and you can tell she geniuly cares whether or not you have a good experience while in her presence. Thank you Corris and we hope to cross paths again!! read more

Our first visit here was pleasant right from the start. They give beignet with orange marmalade and honey to first timers! Yum! Saturday morning brunch yet we were seated quickly. The restaurant was open and lively. We ordered the smoked salmon Benedict and Mardi Gras Omelette. Both were very tasty - and our server Terri was kind and attentive. read more

Had some pretty bad service. The server got multiple orders wrong. We had specifically told her no alcohol or pork in our food, and had been told there was none, and only after we got served did she mention there was trace amounts of alcohol. There was no accountability or acknowledgment that something wrong was done read more

I visited this location before and am surprised I have not reviewed it until now. For the first time, I ordered takeout of the lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes without the goat cheese and the fresh whipped cream. I did not even have to open the container to be able to smell the wonderful lemon zest. The pancakes were delicious, too. I love the real blueberries on the side in addition to the blueberries in the pancakes. read more

From the moment, Maddie answered the phone to assure us the restaurant was open to David, the kind host who brought us to our table and stellar service by Mary, we loved every bit of this breakfast! I had the lemon ricotta waffles with the maple Apple chicken sausage, and cold brew. My sister had the omelette with jalapeño and cheddar and city grits, which we highly recommend. The menu and food is incredible, so many excellent choices. Next time we're in Indianapolis, we will be back! read more

Food was fine, not memorable. Service was an absolute dumpster fire. Waiters take orders on tablets. Ours couldn't hack it and spent a full 10 minutes taking orders for 6 of us where we each repeated our orders 2-3 times to get it right. It was the most bizarre slow moving disaster I've been a part of. Maybe it's a new system but it felt like pulling teeth to order a waffle. Waiter also gave us a spiked coffee when we ordered a non-alcoholic one. When we brought that to his attention, he didn't take responsibility, didn't offer to get us the right drink, and still charged us for the spiked one. Could've been a worse situation serving alcohol to someone who didn't order it. Wild. read more

Came here twice over a two month period. Ordered the same meal: Traditional Day Starter, over medium with sausage/bacon, fresh fruit/plain grits and an English muffin. The service on both visits was quick, friendly and accurate. Both the waitress and the waiter got the items on my order correct and struck a good balance between checking in and giving us space. The atmosphere is Pleasent and you can easily hold a conversation. Nice place :) I like ma' eggs, so let's start there. Both times I ordered over-medium eggs and both times they were very much over-easy. (My previous review incorrectly stated the eggs were correctly cooked over medium, when in reality they were very much over easy) I consider this a staple and expected skill of a breakfast place, so the repeated failure to cook basic eggs to order loses one star :/ The bacon was super good. You're gonna love it! Sausage was quite good, get some! The grits were very good as well, classic. Fruit was crisp and fresh. Quite good. The English muffin was done well, crispness varied, and they have blackberry jam at the table. Win! Overall, a great place for breakfast. Just the foundational eggs-to-order skills to work out :) read more

A terrific 1:00 p Sunday brunch with a mere 15 minute wait. The Belgian waffle is top notch as is the 'Hey Lucy' Omelette. The house hot sauce adds just the right kick. Yazmin was an efficient and super attentive server. The only problem is choosing among so many great menu options. I guess return visits are in order to sample more. read more

Yo yo yo it's the renowned Ben Dover back at it again with another honest review, just finished dining here at Another Broken Egg Cafe a couple seconds ago and I'm going to keep it simple, the quarter pounder with cheese had me shmacking my lips, took me back to the sandbox days with my friend Tyrone and remember our names cause we making it to the NBA. I also ordered the Cold Brew and after taking the smallest sip my toes curled up and My homeboy got The Scrambler with the green stuff on it topped with white cheese and he ascended to heaven, that's how bussin bussin the food was. Shoutout to this young lad who I'm seeing working hard right now lemme catch his name real quick ... his name is Giovani without the Z and he's working harder than Walmart employees, no kizzy kazz. We had a great experience at another broken egg cafe! We arrived at 10:30 on a Saturday and we're sat quickly. Since we were first timers here they treated us to beignets for our appetizers! They were hot and delicious and the marmalade they were served with was tasty too. I got the cinnamon roll pancakes and they were so good! Topped with icing and fresh fruit it is definitely a sweet tooth breakfast. But I like how it was served with eggs and bacon. My boyfriend got the biscuits and gravy and chose his side of breakfast potatoes. It was also very delicious. Servings are big and great value for the price. We ended up taking half of our dishes home! Would definitely return read more

We had breakfast this morning at another broken egg and it was an overall very solid experience. We sat outside and it was a nice patio and tables. We were there at off peak time during week, but there was no wait, which was nice. They had some amazing looking sweet treats that were hard to resist, but I ordered a got sausage, cheese, spinach omelet. It was very good. It came with potatoes, which were cooked really well and crispy, and two pieces of toast. Overall, I left feeling full and happy. I would definitely recommend giving it a shot for a quick brunch. read more

I started this review process by reading the other reviews because honestly I am skeptical of these reviews after having a really bad breakfast. First and foremost - I have to ponder - how much in advance did they prepare some of this food. The biscuit and the gravy I had was microwaved...a lovely spongy biscuit...not flaky like freshly baked biscuits are. And for sure the gravy showed signs of being reheated...and you could see the seperation of the ingredients...which was just yucky to look at. But even more yucky to taste. Additionally I had bacon which was not crispy but more like a chunk of thin sliced leather belt. A serious disappointment. And as a side I asked for a set of 2 flavored pancakes. I chose the bourbon flavored pancakes...they have pecans and bananas swimming in this bourbon sauce. When I say swimming...I meant the poor things had drowned. They were served with a small amount of what I suspect was syrup...but honestly the sauce on these pancakes took over the plate and there was no room for another speck of anything. I am not sure if this would be improved with offering the sauce in a small container on the side. But these pancakes were overwhelmed. So, I chose this place and it was on me. I made a huge mistake in choice. Just a few blocks in any direction on 116th street you can get great breakfast. I have a feeling many people felt the same as I left noting a few plates I saw were filled with food. For me - if you are going to charge folks...any price but at least 17 bucks a person? You have to serve hot tasty fresh food...definitely not microwaved. As someone who cooks for my family and plenty of friends...I know it's just not that hard to do better than what we got today. This is a phenomenal restaurant. All the food except the chicken tenders is amazing. The chicken tenders are good, but not as awesome as the rest of the food choices. The only reason I noticed that was because of how Amazing the rest of the food options are! The value and price are on point and the service is exceptional. This restaurant has also been kind and supportive of my wife's food allergy requirements. We have never been made to feel like a burden, but always treated with genuine warmth and kindness. Breakfast. Everybody needs it, but where to get it? Today I decided Another Broken Egg would be convenient and breakfast there is a meal for which there is no shortage of options. But the best thing? I didn't know this, but first timers are given a small plate of beignets; crispy-fried, powder sugary beignets. And they were delicious. I imagined my friend would find something delicious. He did - the biscuits and gravy. Me, on the other hand? Oh, just a little pancake flight. One plain buttermilk, one berry, and one blueberry goat cheese. And, yes, this came with eggs and a side of breakfast meat. I chose the sweet ham. I ate a third of the delicious feast and then boxed up the rest to enjoy later. Although I don't get to Another Broken Egg frequently, each time I HAVE dined there has been consistently good. And the service! We never needed a thing or waited for a beverage refill. It's easy to keep conversation going when you're not looking for a server to walk by. We had a great experience and think you would, too! read more

Definitely recommend using the waitlist feature in Yelp for this place since it gets quite busy. Came in for the free birthday pancakes offer (need to sign up online.) We were heading out of town for a few days and thought we'd get breakfast before hitting the road. We saw this place and decided to give it a try. Well...we walked in and saw about four tables that were occupied but no employees in sight. We waited. And waited. And...yep, we stood there like idiots for about five minutes and NOBODY showed up. We finally turned and left and I guarantee you we will never bother going again! End of story. read more

Absolutely fantastic all around! Server: Nate. 5 stars! Super kind, helpful, attentive ... all of what you want. Food: Ridiculous! Had the Chicken and Waffles ... but waffled between ordering that and about 10 other delicious looking meal options. The chicken was very lightly breaded/fried ... the syrup they use is something to behold, having been infused with something spicy ... and the waffles were light and fluffy as advertised. This was our second time here. The first time was on campus in West Lafayette a few years back. I'm glad our second visit didn't disappoint. Our waitress, Yadeara (sp?) was the best!!!! It was a joy having her as our waitress/server. She was attentive, full of smiles and laughter as we interacted with her. Just overall, she was great! Even the GM, Garrett, and manager made sure they stopped by and checked in to make sure everything was going well. You don't see that very often in restaurants. That there made our dining experience that much more worth spending our money. The food was right on. The temperature was good on everything. My Floridian omelette was different. I was a bit curious that it was a bit busy, but all the flavors meshed well together. And those little country fried, perfectly crunchy potatoes are the shat!!!!!! Yes, I said it! My peach Bellini was good as well. Oh, I dare not forget the beignets. I could use a little less powdered sugar, but overall those were a hit too!!! And that honey something concoction adds a great finishing touch. We will definitely be returning and it won't take years to do so. read more

Wow this place was hopping! Make sure you save your place in line on their website and check in as soon as you get there. While I waited, I grab their pomegranate mule at the bar. It was a refreshing way start to the day. After having to wait probably around 20 minutes (it was Valentine's Day weekend), I was pretty hungry. Luckily the mixed berries pancakes I ordered came out quickly. The pancakes were huge! The meal also normally comes with your choice of meat side (I got baked bacon) and two eggs. I was really impressed that I was able to sub out the eggs for their country potatoes and at no extra cost! As someone who doesn't like eggs, this is practically unheard of. I was introduced to Another Broken Egg Cafe about three months ago & it has quickly become one of my FAVORITE brunching locations... I'm always up for Eggs Benedict but when I saw all their AmAzInG twists (Southern(seasonal), Eggs Blackstone, Crabcake and My personal fav Smoked Salmon) on Benedict I was in Heaven! They are always busy(make a reservation or you'll end up waiting 30ish minutes; not good when you're hangry). While they are always busy, I must say, it has never affected my service(always great service at this location). If you're a bruncher you HAVE to give this place a go... and if you love Eggs Benedict then this should be a MUST on your places-to-eat-at list... It's delicious! read more

A charming chain restaurant that doesn't seem at all like a chain. Our service was delightful, our food was very good, and our overall experience made us want to go back immediately. This is a great addition to the Fishers breakfast restaurant scene. But first, before I go farther, I must mention the bacon. It was fantastic! I prefer mine a bit more chewy than usual so try to order it this way. Because it's thick-sliced and baked, when it arrived it looked a bit more done than I like, but when I tasted it, this wasn't a problem -- it was chewy, flavorful, and hauntingly good, the kind that makes you remember and savor it for hours afterward. Sometimes I have trouble picking an entree, but it's because I can't decide what food I'm in the mood for, or nothing sounds particularly good. With this menu, there were so many of my favorites, and potential new favorites, that I truly couldn't decide. I finally settled on the Irish Coffee pancakes, since they're seasonal so won't be available for long, with scrambled eggs (and they offered to add cheese to these), and that bacon. (Yum!) The pancakes were delicious, although the whipped cream, advertised as "Spiked Irish whipped cream," tasted just like any other whipped cream, so that was a bit disappointing. But since, really, any whipped cream is good whipped cream, it wasn't much of an issue. The side of scrambled eggs (with cheese) came out way too runny the first time, so I had to send them back and ask that they be re-done firmer. The second attempt was much, much better. The only disappointment was that they came out with much less cheese on them this time. But, similar to the whipped cream, I was okay anyway. I will mention this to them the next time, and hope the topping of cheese is a bit more generous. As mentioned earlier, the bacon was the real star. It came with my meal, but I think the next time I may order an additional side just so I make sure I have enough! We topped off the meal with a pitcher of Apple Pie Mimosas. We had no idea what to expect, but it sounded like fun. They were good. We'll try some other flavors, and a Blood Mary or two first, but would definitely order this again. I told our server, though, that I thought they were missing out on an opportunity by not having an option to add a little Fireball to these. The cinnamon would have been a nice addition. One other thing that worked out exceptionally well was the Yelp! waitlist. We put our name in as we left the house, figuring it would take us about 10-15 minutes to drive over, park, and walk in. Our estimate was right on point, such that we walked in, announced ourselves, and were immediately shown to a table while a few others stood and waited. I love service like that! As I'd said above, I can't wait to go back again! I'm already checking out the menu to decide what I'll have the next time. I'm thinking Bananas Foster pancakes, Black Cherry mimosas, and of course that bacon! (Yum!) read more

The point of this review is mainly to give a shout out to the "City Grits" from Another Broken Egg! These are hands-down the best grits I've had in Indy. Seriously. Can't wait to go back for more and spent an entire day afterward thinking about them. The City Grits have Gouda, bacon, green onions and tomatoes, and really could be a meal if you ordered a couple of bowls. I also ordered the Broken Egg Biscuit Sandwich with eggs scrambled + extra gravy and a Strawberry St. Germaine mimosa pitcher for the table. Everything was delicious, but the grits were SPECTACULAR! Joining the wait list on Yelp on the drive over meant our group only waited about ten minutes once we arrived before getting a table! Much better than the 35-40 minute wait time people coming in after us were given. I also appreciate the general manager, Garrett, for coming out and personally seeing to my friend's eggs being poached hard after coming out poached soft the first time. We all enjoyed the experience, the stellar service, and the food and will definitely be back soon! read more
