Great prices for quality food!! I took my son for a valentines date and we loved the laid back country atmosphere. The cappuccino was delicious. I got the Denver omelet, my son got half waffle. It was all really good and service was great!

Breakfast burrito & hashbrowns

Such a great breakfast spot!! I got a breakfast burrito with hashbrowns and it was delicious! Everyone else that I was with also very much enjoyed their food. The prices were super affordable - my husband and I got our food for about $20, which never happens when we go out anymore! The service was great - the waitress was attentive to whatever we needed and our food came out super quickly. The diner is quite homey on the inside. I would definitely go back!

A place a frequent every now and then. Good hometown cooking that takes you back decades. Waffles done right and steak and eggs back on the seasonal menu. Very tender and tasty. Thank You Christina's Wildberry Diner! Thanks for the great experience.

Senior special, delicious!

Been wanting to try this place for some time. Running pre Xmas errands in the area, so stopped by for late breakfast. Wife ordered a senior special, eggs, sausage, and 1/2 a waffle. Waffle crispy, eggs perfect, and delicious fat sausages. I had the chicken fried steak. Came with eggs, hash browns, and a pancake. Eggs were a little overdone. CFS was good, hash browns needed help. Unevenly cooked, not crispy. Nothing terrible but I've had better. Prices are reasonable, service was fine. Place seemed clean and pleasant.

Food is quite good, pre Biden prices and lots of it. It's also a large place so there's rarely a wait if ever.

An excellent display of foreign currency from many countries, very cool!

This is our second visit to Wild Berry Diner. This time we invited a couple with whom we're good friends with and they thoroughly enjoyed their breakfasts as did we. Met Christina the owner This morning as she greeted and seated us in Christina's (our favorite server) area. Today, I tried the Turkey Club w/ fries and was not disappointed! Outstanding meal! Many thanks to our new friends at Wild Berry Diner for another great experience!

Nice little diner type place with good food for the price with huge portions. They have lots of daily specials which is nice for variety.

Always a great place. GEORGE and his crew never disappoint. I've been coming here since 2010 and you're treated like family.

Got 2 orders of catfish. Not as good as we hoped for. Heavily breaded and very heavy. Not what we were expecting at all. The pie was ok.

Service 5/5 Always excellent, friendly and attentive service here. This quaint Cafe gem never disappoints! Debbie the former owner now working for her son is Always fun to chat with. She still makes some great pies and cakes! Breakfast all day long and includes a great lunch and dinner selections too. Atmosphere 5/5 Little neighborhood American Cafe charm with large table to ceiling windows bringing the outside in. Today was particularly enjoyable as we enjoyed the light rain and a lazy pace chatting next to the window. Food 5/5 Everything we've tried is delicious from their scratch kitchen. Chicken fried steak, real mashed potatoes, the best homemade white country gravy. Today my wife enjoyed breakfast for lunch choosing their chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and white Country gravy and sautés carrots which is her favorite here. I tried their Mushroom & Swiss hamburger on special, large pickle spear and dinner salad. The burger was crazy delicious! This "Little Mesa Cafe" is an amazing burger maker. Wonderful flavors, I will order this again. $60.81 with $20 cash tip for the nicest lady you'll ever will meet. Thx Debbie. More rain in the forecast so cuddle up against the window with a great meal and desert with coffee my friends-SYOY!

We love Welcome Diner, and have been here many times. It is definitely not fancy, but it is exactly…read morewhat it should be. It feels very hipster and very retro and it just has so much personality. There is a lot of outdoor seating in what is essentially a front yard. There are tables and string lights and lots of trees and there are even a couple of playground horses. When you walk in there is a hostess desk kind of pieced together with different pieces of furniture and above it is a turning disco ball. Could there be anything better? There are booths all the way around, and there are no tables - - but you can sit at the long counter and watch your food being made. That really is the best place to sit because it is so interesting to watch them. It's amazing to me that they can keep all those balls in the air and still make all this food so delicious. There is a small bar off to one side. Make sure you go to the bathroom. The bathroom is nothing special, just a room full of graffiti and stickers, but if you look up you'll see the ceiling covered with little pinatas and a little donkey in the hallway. The menu is just what you would think for a diner menu. You can order breakfast or some sandwiches, burgers, Mac and cheese, and there is a selection of dinner entrees. Sitting at the counter we saw a plate with a steak being prepared and it looked absolutely fantastic. We were not really very hungry, and just wanted a quick small bite. Have you got that Welcome Burger, and I got the Sasha. Hubby said his Burger was good, although it was quite small. The Sasha has smoked pork and they put the pork on the grill and it becomes a crispy kind of Patty of shredded pork, then they put the crispy shredded pork patty on a noble bun with coleslaw and a fantastic horseradish sauce. My sandwich was a 10 out of 10 for sure! I kind of feel like in Phoenix there are some areas that you can go to or not, but welcome diner is a place that everybody should go to at least once. I really want to go back for breakfast which is kind of shocking because I'm not a breakfast person.

I have never felt as unwelcome at a restaurant as I did during our visit to Welcome Diner…read more I arrived with three friends and two dogs, encouraged by the dog-friendly patio. Before we could sit down, a waitress abruptly warned us that rain was expected in three minutes, that the dining room had no available seating, and that pets were not allowed inside. We decided to take our chances, retrieved our own menus, and sat outside. More than 10 minutes passed without anyone acknowledging us, despite staff serving other customers. My friend even tapped on the ordering window and was ignored. When the same waitress finally returned, I asked for a Bloody Mary, and she appeared noticeably disappointed that we had decided to stay. Her response was an incredulous, "You're staying???" We explained that we were willing to take our chances with the weather, at which point she informed me that they were out of Bloody Mary mix. I then requested waters. Another 10 minutes passed before she dropped off the waters without taking our order. After another 10 minutes without service, we left, having spent approximately 30 minutes feeling ignored and unwelcome. We found a much better experience across the street, where we enjoyed attentive service, delicious food, and a welcoming dog-friendly patio. I understand that weather, seating limitations, and restaurant policies may be beyond a server's control. How guests are treated is not. For a restaurant called Welcome Diner, the irony was especially disappointing.
