My wife and I just returned from our first ever visit to a Which Wich. We worked our way through the ordering process without too much difficulty and approached the register to place our orders. The people were nice and the experience was not horrible however we both had the same thoughts about our experience. We checked the box for a combo (add drinks and chips). Now, everywhere else we've ever been offered a combo it is a one-price kind of thing, usually at a lower price than a la carte. Apparently at Which Wich combo is the same thing as a la carte because the sandwich, drink and chips were charged separately and at the full menu price. We also found the sandwiches to be average; not great, not bad, just average. We also felt that the prices relative to perceived value were a little high especially in comparison to local non-franchise eateries that also serve sandwiches in a casual environment. I noticed that there is a Vibe Club Rewards program. I was not asked if I was a member and I did not ask about the program until after our purchase was complete. Unfortunately that was too late to sign up and receive credit for the purchase that we had just made. Sorry, no points for you. Not a horrible experience but not sure that we'll return. Really subpar. Yes, there's a lot of options for sandwiches but nothing blows me away. Everything being put on the sandwich has been sitting out under hot lights so nothing tastes actually fresh. I was looking for a quick bite before starting my drive back to DC from Williamsburg. Which Wich stood out in my search results on Yelp, especially with the unique menu items. We reached there few minutes after it was open on new year's day. After staring at the menu for couple of minutes, we asked for help. One of the staff member told us how to go about ordering. We quickly made our selection (Caprese and superfood wich), with some customization on Caprese. Superfood comes with pre-selected items). It does take them more time than Subway to make the sandwich especially if option to grill is checked, which was in our case. The packaging of the sandwich (food does not come out of everywhere while you try to it) was awesome, and the taste, heavenly. I have never been so full after eating a sandwich. I am now back in DC, and just found 3 Which Wich shops around. I am hoping they are as good as the Williamsburg joint. If it is your first time here here are the directions: Look at the menu, decide which category do you want your Wich from. Went for the French Dip, it was my birthday wish to have a great French Dip sandwich. Not so much. For the two of us, we got a Philly cheesesteak and a French dip. We are half and will not come back. It seems to be a popular place but for 28.50 for two people it fell short of what a sandwich should be. I asked for the bread to be toasted twice (it is a French dip, and will be dunked in auju, soft bread is not good for me). The toasted the outside twice put the meat on it and toasted it regular. The inside bread was soggy from the meat and the meat itself cut so thin that doe of the pieces were dried out from toasting. The chocolate chip cookie was ok, burnt be crunchy edges, dried out. We would only return if we wanted a basic sandwich and nothing else was around. Btw this is my first review on yelp. read more

Ordering sandwiches was confusing at first, but it's a fresh idea that I liked. The sandwiches are decent, much better than Subway. There is also a huge selection which I liked. The menu is affordably priced, similar to Jimmy Johns or Firehouse Subs. For $11.50 you can get a 14" sandwich, which is actually a better value versus other sandwich chains...especially so when you pay the same for any meat selections. We will return read more

Went into this place for lunch today and frequent this place as much as I can being that I am a Vibe Club Rewards member, which I'm so happy that I am because when I came in today, unknowingly I had a 6.00 off coupon because my birthday is coming up soon, and a free drink coupon. I saved 8.00! What a deal! I love the process of being able to write what I want on my sandwich instead of having to tell them. Just makes the process easier. The food is super delicious and the staff is very friendly, helpful, and always professional with a smile. My favorite customer service representative is Jeanie she is always friendly and helpful and makes my sandwich the way I ordered it. She always has a smile no matter the circumstance. This place never disappoints, and today was no different. Megan greeted us to explain how things work here, but I had already excitedly started explaining it to my boss. I really enjoyed writing my own order on what ends up being your sandwich's bag and handing them to the cashier. Then they get clipped up and down the line they go. The concept of ordering was confusing. I went with my girlfriend and her family last week. I only knew what to do because I checked out the website to see the menu beforehand. They forgot some items on my sub that I ordered. I got the grinder and it tasted like pure pepperoni not salami and ham. Yummy sandwiches with lots of options. Like the ordering system: grab a brown paper bag, follow the directions with what you want on your sandwich-lots of options, draw a pic so you know which bag is yours while they make it. Good food! Oh, they have a "mvp" program that gets you points for the stuff you buy so you can eventually get a free sub. My faves are the chicken pesto, Ruben, & Italian. I haven't had a bad sub from here yet. The only complaint is that it's a little pricey (2 mediums sandwiches, 1 mini bag of chips, medium drink, water cup~$24). But it's definitely delicious! I had the Cuban and I would certainly order it again. I do like the concept with the baggies you fill out when you enter. This is a sandwich place where you write down your order on a paper bag and hand it to someone to process who asks just as many questions if not more if I had directly ordered it. The inside is like a Chipotle. They are trying to be trending. I had to debate between a 3 and a 4 star. I picked 4 for several reasons; 1. The sandwiches were tasty. 2. The place was very clean & 3. Great service and amazing sandwiches! I've been to many fast casual restaurants, but none of them provided service like Which Wich. My family and I were greeted as we entered the restaurant and a young girl explained exactly how to order. Customizing each sandwich on a bag is brilliant! Our food was served quickly and tasted delicious! We ordered a grinder, buffalo chicken, black bean patty, and PB&J "kids wich." My daughter and I also ordered milk shakes...OMG! They were the best shakes I've had in a long time! She had an Oreo shake and I tried the pumpkin pie shake. We will definitely be back for more very soon! read more

I'd never heard of Which Which but it caught my eye the day after xmas when a lot of eateries were still closed. When we entered an employee asked if we where returning, and then gave us the explanation of the ordering process. You basically get to construct your own sandwich on the back of a sandwich bag and they've gone the extra mile to provide like 15 different starting templates; Kids, Veggie, Steak and cheese, turkey, beef, etc. The kids items come with carrots, apples, a drink, and a token to be used in the candy machine near the door. The kids meal also come in a resealable plastic container for easy take away. Very smart Which Which. I had a south Philly, a very hard sandwich to replicate. It was passable but still very tasty. The two things that struck me about Which Which are that the ordering area where people fill out their orders is pretty small, we felt we had to grab the bags and pen and take them to a table to be given any space. People were reach over and around and starting to pile up at the door. The other is that your order comes out in a stream, if you order 4 sandwiches you will have to return to the counter 4 separate times. Cool concept, wonder if they will reach northern VA. read more

He was very kind and helpful, and I would have been totally overwhelmed without his guidance. Went here for dinner one evening. There only seemed to be about 10-15 people in the restaurant. Ordered two sandwiches, nothing too complicated, only a few toppings. We were told it would be 15 minutes for our sandwiches. After 20 minutes, we asked where our sandwiches were. Somehow they weren't even near the end of the line, even though people who ordered after us had already received their sandwiches, and it wasn't even that busy! We waited another 10 minutes (for a total of 30 minutes) and still no sandwiches. They hadn't even started making them yet. We asked to speak to the manager and asked for our money back - waiting over 30 minutes (probably would have been 45-60 is we stayed for our sandwiches) is just ridiculous! The manager simply made the excuse, in a dismissive tone, "Oh, it's dinner time and that's our rush." That's a terrible reason, as a restaurant you should be prepared. You shouldn't tell people it will be 15 minutes for their sandwich when it will be 60 minutes. Won't be coming back here. Went to Noodles and Company across the street and had a great dinner. read more
