Cheese pizza

I ordered a pizza and cheese bread online for pickup. The food was ready when I arrived. The inside doesn't contain any tables or utensils, napkins etc. you can only get food to go or delivery. For the money, the pizza isn't bad. The cheese bread was really good but the marinara sauce cup was only halfway filled.

Channello's cheesy bread is just amazing. I'm not sure what it is about it, but it just hits the spot. Always delicious!

I absolutely LOVE Chanello's, and this particular spot is a spot that I always have to stop by when we're in the area! The local chain offers various pzizza, subs, appetizers and wings, salads, desserts, and even GF options.  I am totally OBSESSED with their Cheesebread - it's their famous pizza crust, baked with garlic butter and cheese - think of it like cheesy garlic bread, but in a round pizza form; it is served with marinara and Chanello's dip, but I recommend in getting their garlic dip instead! The Cheesebread can get a little greasy from the cheese, but it's all good!  It is definitely super cheesy, and the crust is so soft and fluffy; it has that nice slight crisp exterior, too!  The thick and creamy garlic dip is such a great complement.  My mouth is literally drooling just thinking of it! Service here can be a hit-or-miss - some of the employees can be super stingy with the sauces and the dips, even after you have paid extra for them! Also, it should be made clear of how many sauces/dips you would get with each size of the pizza or the cheesebread. This is a carry-out/delivery only; waiting about 10-15 minutes guarantees in a piping hot, unbelievably fresh pie - yum! Take advantage of their loyalty program where you can score deals or even save a few bucks; online ordering is super easy, too! Plenty of parking. +Cheesebread! +get their garlic dip! +easy online ordering! +carry-out/delivery available +plenty of parking

So the first time, about nine months ago, I would not have recommended this place. We tried it again because it was late when we got to town and the meat lovers pizza was very good. It could have used more sauce but overall it was very good. The crust tasted homemade and the meats were plentiful.

First timer. Ordered a quick cheese pizza and it was good. Kids liked it . It was very cheesy and melted through the mouth :). Service was good. Parking ok. Overall a good experience

So why all the negative reviews? This Chanellos Pizza is the finest fast food pizza in the area. The quality and consistency of the pizza is always high, it comes out pretty fast and hot, and is always delicious with plenty b of fresh toppings. Much better than most of the fast food chains in Williamsburg. The staff is friendly and patient, and the drivers are cordial and quick. Always get quality service and the garlic knots are delicious too. The restaurant is clean and typical for fast food in the area. Easy access with plenty of parking. Chanellos pizza is a good value and you should give it a try.

You can grab a sandwich (lots of great options) and their house dressing alone is worth the stop. Seriously delicious. But the real fun is the cheese counter. You can build your own cheese board, browse all their incredible cheeses and charcuterie options, and then... here's the best part... Take everything downstairs to the cellar, order a glass (or bottle) of wine, and just enjoy. No rush. No fuss. Just good food, good wine, and a great atmosphere. It's one of those spots that feels like an experience, not just a meal. Fun, relaxed, and so, so yum. If you're in Colonial Williamsburg, don't skip this one. Made everything so efficient! No seating inside but plenty outside! Also lots of yummy treats and food items to look at inside while waiting for your sandwich to be prepared!

Nothing wrong with this little grab-and-go carry out shop but at the same time, I wouldn't call it anything ahhhhmazzzzinggggg that would warrant more than just an average 3 star rating. Better than and more options than a hotel lobby self serve "mini mart." They serve self serve coffee (Members, don't forget to ask for your complimentary daily coffee tickets upon check-in!) but this place also has a barista for hot or iced lattes. Decent lattes, thankfully made with espresso shots not watered down or weak & wimpy. On par with what you would get at Starbucks. The latte menu is NOT extensive so don't expect a long latte/coffee drink menu like at Starbucks. I posted a pic of the latte/tea/juice/bfast sando menu with prices so have a look. Staff is SUPER NICE but both times I was there getting a hot latte, there was ONE WORKER each time running cash AND barista-ing. Not many more can fit behind that tiny ordering counter frankly. Thus - if you see any kind of long line, BE PREPARED TO WAIT. Or come back during non-rush hours. (Remember this is a conference center so it is highly likely conference attendees will be lining up to order before the start of the conference day and in between sessions throughout the day!) I read on their website that all their baked goods and pastries as well as sandwiches, salads etc are freshly house made there on prem so that's nice. Prices are not break the bank (for a hotel). My small hot vanilla latte was $7. Like I said - as a hotel lobby grab-and-go so you don't have to walk far or drive to get your latte-fix on, The Cupboard is right-there-convenient and will absolutely do just fine. If you DO feel like going off the property to go to an indie coffee shop, I drove to and tried the relatively new Grit Coffee in Midtown for the first time - pretty good (read my review and see my pics): Or go to the ever-famous Aromas in CW near the William&Mary campus, an OG legend which imo is overhyped but still a good option - parking can be a pain, frankly better to walk there from the hotel (it's prob a 20 min walk to Aromas but you walk straight down beautiful CW - on a nice day, can't beat that.).

Ordered a pepperoni pizza. Dough was fluffy and airy. It seemed a bit over proofed. The pepperoni overcrowded the top and made for a very greasy topping. Sauce is sweeter than my liking. The taste was similar to a commercial chain pizza so younger children tend to love that. Overall, an interesting setting. We left with full bellies and prices were reasonable.
