Both me and my lady agreed on this score. Pizza tasted awesome even after ordering it and not eating right away because we were getting our drink on. But on the way way home we tore that thing up and even being a bit cold, it was delightful.

Came in as a large group and I personally was not impressed. We wanted to eat out but this place was our only option because every other restaurant in the area was full due to MW graduation. This place had good reviews but I'm starting to think that number comes from local college kids who come for cheap drinks. Starting with the food- you always know food is gonna be underwhelming when the menu is huge. We ordered burgers, pasta, and pizza but we all agreed that each of our dishes were nothing to write home about. Personally, I got the alfredo chicken pasta. Sauce was bland (it's hard to get quality Alfredo for cheap) and the chicken was sort of dry, as expected. The garlic bread was good but it's kinda hard to mess that up. I will note however that all of us felt that the portion of each meal was very generous and we all went home with lunch for the next day. As for the service- we were helped by a young girl who shared that it was her first week. She was sweet and did a very good job despite still learning. She had some help which was totally understandable- however, one of the staff members spilled a beer we had ordered (not much but still) and kinda just left the mess for us to deal with. I did note as well that everything was served with plastic cutlery, as if we had ordered to-go. Not sure if this is the usual but felt cheap. Overall the experience was very meh. Not amazing but not awful. If you're looking for somewhere to eat after Busch Gardens this could be a good choice- food is alright and cheap-ish.

Fried pickles. Great service too. But... the fried pickles. You're used to chips. Nope. Spears.

The menu also has so many food options, making it easy to find something for everyone. The food overall was great and very enjoyable. However, I would not recommend the brownie and chocolate sundae dessert. The brownie and cookie were cold and hard, which made the dessert disappointing. On the positive side, the carrot cake was huge and definitely worth sharing -- easily enough for 3-4 people. The service was excellent as well. Our waiter was very attentive throughout the meal and made sure everything was taken care of. Overall, Second Street American delivers great food variety, strong service, and a family-friendly atmosphere, with just a few misses on dessert.

I couldn't believe my mouth. The tomatoes tasted so fresh and the sourdough bread was amazing. We were told all the food is locally sourced down to the bread from across the street. The kids macaroni and the kids Ao Burger was very flavorful. Boyfriend had the Ao burger and he stated it was delicious. I would highly recommend! I believe the server we had was Jazmine, she was very nice and was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, the vibes and was on top of drinks and made our first experience there a great one! I've been all over Italy, Asia, and No America...and this is easily the best pizza I have ever had. The small pizza is still huge, even my 15yo couldn't finish the four slices. The service was attentive and wonderful. Our server was kind, helpful, and interacted really well with our kiddos. I will say that it's a little loud, so that could be overwhelming for some people. But the restaurant is super clean, the decor is fun, and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect at a busy pizzeria. I cannot recommend this place enough. Like, I may actually travel the 3,000 miles back to Williamsburg again just for the pizza.

The ambiance is like a dim lighted factory. It's connected to a few other eateries and brewery with restrooms in the lobby of all facilities. Ordered the pretzel bites with a beer cheese. These were good in the sense of being soft, chewy dough balls to dip in cheese. I don't believe they tasted like pretzels at all. They tasted more like the pizza dough, but still a good appetizer. Ordered a pepperoni pizza. Dough was fluffy and airy. It seemed a bit over proofed. The pepperoni overcrowded the top and made for a very greasy topping. Sauce is sweeter than my liking. The taste was similar to a commercial chain pizza so younger children tend to love that. Overall, an interesting setting. We left with full bellies and prices were reasonable.
