Sophia and I came here for lunch over the weekend. It turns out it's been almost 2 years since the last time we stopped by. The 1st time I came across Super Chix was in 2023 for a Yelp event when they opened up. Let's see if the trend continues. We were greeted by the staff when we walked inside. They had a good crowd inside for a Sunday afternoon which is a good thing. The decor looked spotless from what I could tell and TVs were showing sports from different leagues. Both of us had to order from the booth before getting seated where they'll deliver your food via a number. My selection was 4 chicken tenders and fries topped with rosemary pepper seasoning. And I chose buttermilk ranch and Korean BBQ sauces for dipping. Everything was delicious. The tenders were hot and cooked perfectly and the fries had proper seasoning. Truly made my belly get full before I finished. Thanks again Super Chix for having yours truly satisfied during lunch. I love this place so much, I would go once a week if I could afford it cause it's that great! Hand breaded chicken, that tastes amazing. The fries are also great, and you can choose your seasoning. I've tried sandwiches, tenders, and salads, all of them are great. Give this place a try. Staff is always in a great mood, they are super welcoming and make great food. I stopped back in and had their Asian chicken salad. The dressing was tasty, the crispy chicken filet was cooked well. Now what is what could use improvement: The juice from the mandarin oranges was in the salad bowl and not enough cashews or wontons for that crunch factor. We always eat at the same places so we decided to try something new. This place is a bit hidden but we were able to locate it and find parking. The menu is pretty big. I ended up ordering the house salad with fried chicken. The portion size was good. The sweet tea dispenser was filled with water.... The salad was good, I just wasn't blown away. Their ranch was just okay, definitely not my kind of ranch. The place was relatively clean. The service was okay. I'd consider going back. read more

I expected too much from this place. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Food came out quickly. Food was very pricey for what you get. Not a fan of the fries, I didn't taste any flavor on them. I got the Nashville sandwich and it was so soggy. It fell apart. I've had other Nashville sandwiches so I know they're hot. But this one was so hot, it was just not enjoyable. read more

This is the first time that I've eaten at a Super Chix. I ordered the chicken tenders with fries and vanilla custard. The chicken tenders were large in size and tossed in a hot honey sauce. The fries were hot and fresh and the custard was smooth. The cashier was helpful when asked questions about their menu. I appreciated her helpfulness since it was my first time there. This place is definitely worth trying out when wanting to get some good chicken tenders. read more

The food tasted pretty good, but didn't really do well on the drive home. They're so jam packed (not a negative) that we had to reassemble before eating. The plastic packaging also didn't help because they steamed the sandwiches in the time it took to get home. The fries were also a little cold and not crisp, even though it had only been about 10 minutes since we got them. The Korean BBQ and Cheesy BBQ sandwiches are winners though and should be tried. I also really liked that the sauce station has plenty of cups so you can try them all of you'd like. We'll definitely try again since the sandwiches were so good. read more

Fantastic salads. I had the crispy versions and my wife the grilled. Of course, she got on my case for getting what I wanted ! I used some their special sauces for the sauce bar to kick mine up a a notch. We just moved into town and this spot is going to be on the weekly to eat at. Jason the manager is what every manager should strive to be like. He was really above and beyond friendly, gave us recommendations and a welcome treat (thanks Jason). The restaurant was very clean and new with clean bathrooms and tables. Decided to give this place a try as it was not far from us and we wanted a quick lunch option. Parking is near by and some parallel parking near as well. Off to the food: This gives me if five burgers wanted to be a chicken sandwich place vibes. The food was cooked fresh which is much appreciated coming in at 30ish bucks. The buffalo chicken sandwich was good and the fries the sauce bar was much appreciated. I really liked the signature sauce a lot. Next up was the Nashville. I love super chix! The food is always fresh (which means yes, sometimes there is a bit of a wait.) i love the buffalo chicken salad, as well as the chicken sandwich. The fries are also amazing and they have an assortment of seasonings you can choose from. They also have ample sauces for your fries, tenders, etc. all of the employees are very nice and welcoming. Ok Super Chix, local Chick-fil-A "esk"type of chicken place. Very expensive, reminds me of a chicken version of 5 Guys. Although I only ordered fries, my husband greatly enjoyed the chicken sandwich he had here. They do shakes along with chicken sandwiches, and cheese fries with different seasonings to add. Service wasn't much, as you only go to the counter to order and don't deal with the staff afterwards. Ambiance was spacious, tables weren't on top of each other. First time here! Staff was super friendly. We ordered simple chicken sandwich, buffalo chicken sandwich, blackened Cajun chicken sandwich, chicken slider kids meal, Cajun fries, rosemary fries. Everything was tasted great. Hawaiian sweet roll buns, and the breading was a little sweet. Recommended the signature sauce, it reminded us of chick fil a sauce. Fries were tasty and the portion size was pretty good. Would have given 5 stars but the wait was kinda long and the prices were a bit high in our opinion. Been eating there since it opened -- at least 10x. Walked in today and the place just felt different. Looking down the line, the floor was dirty, wet, no cashier. She was back huddled with some other older guy--took her time to come and greet us. Like I said different. I almost wanted to walk out immediately, but this is my son's place. We ordered, no big deal. Here's why I'm writing in. This place is expensive. I payed about 55 bucks for a 3 piece, a 6 piece fingers, Cole slaw, 1 deluxe, 1 reg fry, and one large fry. I tipped 18% bringing my check to just under 70 with tax and stuff. I always order a large fry to share with my wife. Sometimes it is a large, this time it was pathetic--not even the size of a regular. My son who order a reg fry, got a normal amount and had 2x - 3x my portion. I mentioned this to the food runner who -- didn't give two f-s, and told me that my son got the large so I should just be ok. She dismissed me and walked away. I was not. For almost 7bucks a portion--you can't give me a few more fries? WTF? Why couldn't I just get my size portion? What happened to this place? The sauce area was a mess, dirty--I could see sauce on the rims of the dispenser. Guess I'm back to getting my son to goto the cheaper and higher quality competitors. I had high hopes. read more

I've been here a few times now since it opened at the beginning of May. The food is good. My only major qualm with this spot is that it has Five Guys prices. What this means is that a sandwich is going to run you at least $10. If you would like a side of fries, that will add another $5 to the total. A shake an additional $6-$7. In all, a single meal will cost you close to $25. A but excessive in my opinion for fast food. I must emphasize, however, that the food is good. The sandwich comes with fresh hand breaded chicken. You can tell on the first bite that it is made to order. The fries too are decent. They come in a variety of flavors. I have tried the Cajun and rosemary. Both are good options. Similar to Five Guys, they really load up the platter or bag. The shakes are very good. Pictured is the Oreo mint. I would not get this one again. I have also had the cookies and cream. I was a big fan of this one! The mint just didn't have enough Oreo to it. Overall, Super Chix is a nice addition to the Williamsburg food scene. Positioned well near campus and colonial Williamsburg, it will be a great stop for students and tourists alike. First we chose them because we'll all happily eat chicken. Kid's meal was completely wrong, ordered the grilled cheese and cheese fries, got blackened tenders and no cheese on fries. The Asian chicken salad was okay, but not sure how grilled chicken ends up being blackened, and no carrots. Whatever the one with onion rings on it had chewy chicken and less than half eaten. The bun on this one slid off and was like just a wad of wet bread. The delux was a sloppy mess and tasted just okay, the other orders of fries were cold and soggy, but we did get the order to go. Sorry super chix. I can't get on this bandwagon. The food is a higher quality than "normal" fast food and made to order. But the price points are more expensive and are in line with a sit down restaurant but without the full service. To add insult to injury, customers are prompted to pay a 20% tip meaning lunch (sandwich fries and drink) can be $25 a person! Without an added gratuity. The sauces aren't bad but not overly curated and not as addictive as another brands. read more

I had a late lunch to go at Super Chix. The place was not exactly busy (one occupied table and 2 take orders took place while waiting for my sandwich). That said, we were more than a bit surprised that we and the guests that followed us in didn't rate a smile from the staff member. Too bad. There are plenty of customers who won't return following a sour (or non- existent) welcome to a business. Anyway, my Chicken Cordon Bleu (served on Hawaiian King buns) arrived warm, tasty and fairly quickly (see photo). The sauce was a good complement to the crispy ham and tenders that make up the sandwich. It would have been nice if Dr. Pepper was offered at Super Chix. Sooo, what could have been a 3+/4 Star rating ends up a low "3" thanks to the lack of smiles or a decent welcome. As a result it will not be a high recommendation to friends or even a spot we'll rush back to. read more

The sandwiches were quite well done, and I really appreciated the large sauce bar. Literally you can take 10 or 12 different types of dipping sauces home with you, including the house sauce. My wife always says that I put too much sauce on my food... There was a mixup in my order, and the manager was exceptionally helpful, and ended up giving us the extra food for free. Counter service place underneath of an apartment building. Had plenty of parking and right across from Sal's By Victor, but not visible from the road or anything. Ordered the buffalo ranch sandwich and Cajun fries. Chicken sandwich was excellent, no complaints at all. Fries were really good. Not quite shoestring fries but well cooked and crispy. Order the large size. I got the small and regretted it so much that I went and bought more. :) I didn't get to try the custard or anything, but I thought this was a solid place with friendly service. read more

Excellent food. My chicken sandwich was amazing. Tenders were crispy and juicy. The fries were perfect. The thick rich shake/custard was delicious. The service was excellent! Unfortunately I have to report the music was too loud and the speaker sound quality seemed bad. The music selection was all classic "dad rock" & "glam rock" which I really dislike. There was no variety in the music selection and there were no modern tunes. There was also nowhere I could sit to get away from the distracting and unpleasant sounds, but I didn't want to do take out. Even the entire outdoor area had music blasting.
