    House salad
    Andy G.

We always eat at the same places so we decided to try something new. This place is a bit hidden but we were able to locate it and find parking. The menu is pretty big. I ended up ordering the house salad with fried chicken. The portion size was good. The sweet tea dispenser was filled with water.... The salad was good, I just wasn't blown away. Their ranch was just okay, definitely not my kind of ranch. The place was relatively clean. The service was okay. I'd consider going back.

We stopped here on a whim and it was pretty good. I liked the fried avocado with gouda. It was crispy and had nice flavor. The fries were a hit. The sauce bar was amazing. The Korean BBQ had great spice. We sat inside and there is plenty of seating. Very clean. The people working were helpful with vegetarian options. I will.be back.

This is the first time that I've eaten at a Super Chix. I ordered the chicken tenders with fries and vanilla custard. The chicken tenders were large in size and tossed in a hot honey sauce. The fries were hot and fresh and the custard was smooth. The cashier was helpful when asked questions about their menu. I appreciated her helpfulness since it was my first time there. This place is definitely worth trying out when wanting to get some good chicken tenders.

The food tasted pretty good, but didn't really do well on the drive home. They're so jam packed (not a negative) that we had to reassemble before eating. The plastic packaging also didn't help because they steamed the sandwiches in the time it took to get home. The fries were also a little cold and not crisp, even though it had only been about 10 minutes since we got them. The Korean BBQ and Cheesy BBQ sandwiches are winners though and should be tried. I also really liked that the sauce station has plenty of cups so you can try them all of you'd like. We'll definitely try again since the sandwiches were so good.

Fantastic salads. I had the crispy versions and my wife the grilled. Of course, she got on my case for getting what I wanted ! I used some their special sauces for the sauce bar to kick mine up a a notch. We were visiting this brand for the first time and in our short stay at Williamsburg ( we have no w of these locally up north) I wanted to go back again the food was so good! She also got a pumpkin spice shake and loved it

Decided to give this place a try as it was not far from us and we wanted a quick lunch option. Parking is near by and some parallel parking near as well. Off to the food: This gives me if five burgers wanted to be a chicken sandwich place vibes. The food was cooked fresh which is much appreciated coming in at 30ish bucks. The buffalo chicken sandwich was good and the fries the sauce bar was much appreciated. I really liked the signature sauce a lot. Next up was the Nashville. The staff did what they needed to do promptly. Wouldn't run back but would go again.

Ok Super Chix, local Chick-fil-A "esk"type of chicken place. Very expensive, reminds me of a chicken version of 5 Guys. Although I only ordered fries, my husband greatly enjoyed the chicken sandwich he had here. They do shakes along with chicken sandwiches, and cheese fries with different seasonings to add. Service wasn't much, as you only go to the counter to order and don't deal with the staff afterwards. Ambiance was spacious, tables weren't on top of each other. There are only 2 restrooms here.

We gave them another shot tonight and for the good the chicken tenders did not disappoint. However again the service was lacking and the blackened chicken sandwich was very thin. No where have I paid $10+ for a chicken sandwich and got such a thin chicken.

Found this place on accident and my kiddo was all about it. Chicken was great. Fried pickles were awesome and the loaded fries- unreal. There was a small mistake with our order but quickly corrected. It's a little loud for a conversation, but the 80s music made me happy.

The "chilli eggs" were great. The lamb was so good we saved half just so we could have it later in the day. The lattes were solid, too. For a place where you have to wait in line to pay and have your food brought to you, it is not cheap. But the prices don't feel like you're being gouged either. Just don't expect to get out of there with two people and pay $30 dollars. It will not happen. Also, don't expect quiet. This place is loud. Small rooms with lots of chairs and nothing to cushion the noise. My perfect visit: 1. Have someone order the food and find seating. 2. You go to the dessert place a few doors down and get a medley of treats. 3. If you're two people, order three things and share a bit of each. 4. When you're almost done, order two coffees to go then sit back down. 5. Someone will bring you your coffees and you can walk out with drinks in hand and snack on chocolate covered items as you walk back to your car. 6. Complain that you should have gotten the large coffee and didn't ask for napkins so your fingers are a bit sticky. 7. Drive contentedly home and talk about what your favorite thing was. 8. No, no one is nice about merging back onto that highway, but that's not Hohl's fault.

Nothing wrong with this little grab-and-go carry out shop but at the same time, I wouldn't call it anything ahhhhmazzzzinggggg that would warrant more than just an average 3 star rating. Better than and more options than a hotel lobby self serve "mini mart." They serve self serve coffee (Members, don't forget to ask for your complimentary daily coffee tickets upon check-in!) but this place also has a barista for hot or iced lattes. Decent lattes, thankfully made with espresso shots not watered down or weak & wimpy. On par with what you would get at Starbucks. The latte menu is NOT extensive so don't expect a long latte/coffee drink menu like at Starbucks. I posted a pic of the latte/tea/juice/bfast sando menu with prices so have a look. Staff is SUPER NICE but both times I was there getting a hot latte, there was ONE WORKER each time running cash AND barista-ing. Not many more can fit behind that tiny ordering counter frankly. Thus - if you see any kind of long line, BE PREPARED TO WAIT. Or come back during non-rush hours. (Remember this is a conference center so it is highly likely conference attendees will be lining up to order before the start of the conference day and in between sessions throughout the day!) I read on their website that all their baked goods and pastries as well as sandwiches, salads etc are freshly house made there on prem so that's nice. Prices are not break the bank (for a hotel). My small hot vanilla latte was $7. Like I said - as a hotel lobby grab-and-go so you don't have to walk far or drive to get your latte-fix on, The Cupboard is right-there-convenient and will absolutely do just fine. If you DO feel like going off the property to go to an indie coffee shop, I drove to and tried the relatively new Grit Coffee in Midtown for the first time - pretty good (read my review and see my pics): Or go to the ever-famous Aromas in CW near the William&Mary campus, an OG legend which imo is overhyped but still a good option - parking can be a pain, frankly better to walk there from the hotel (it's prob a 20 min walk to Aromas but you walk straight down beautiful CW - on a nice day, can't beat that.).

Whatever magic they created did not disappoint. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and honestly tasted like summer in a glass. For appetizers, we ordered the tomato & burrata and the tuna crispy rice. The tomato & burrata was AMAZING. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, the pesto was vibrant and flavorful, and the presentation looked like something out of a food magazine. The tuna crispy rice? I could happily eat that every single day without complaint. Crispy, flavorful, and completely addictive. Our entrée was the prime ribeye, and I can honestly say it was the best steak I've ever had. The drinks were very good, so hats off to the bar staff. The first time we went we tried a variety of things but the star of the whole meal was an appetizer. The bone marrow with wagu was so original and fantastic, but so rich. The burrata was a little flat compared to the bone marrow but we will let that slide. Dinner was sushi for my wife and steak for myself. The sushi at this place is some of the freshest you can find, I have only had better in Vegas as Michelin star restaurants. The surf and turf roll is amazing but expensive (the first time), second visit not so much. Someone has forgotten how to season the steak at this place. This happened to my steak on the first trip, my steak had no seasoning. For such an expensive place, I should not be needing to season anything. The deserts were very good but the steak issues have me questioning a return. The first visit everything but the my dinner steak was great, the roll with steak was seasoned well but not on the second visit. There is inconsistency here or maybe they are falling pray to people in Williamsburg not enjoying seasoning. I have experienced this was some very well reviewed places before here in Williamsburg. I am keeping my review high as the sushi is first rate but expensive, it might as well be Vegas prices. The steak needs love but I am not going to let that dim the excellent sushi, apps and bar drinks. Overall good experience but minor disappointment from the seasoning issues, should be an easy fix though.
