Flo's Filet
Josh D.

My co-worker's and I were in the mood for a steak, so we went with something reliable instead of trying something new this time. We walked in and the restaurant wasn't too crowded due to it being later in the evening. It was very casual and relaxing with the low noise. We were seated immediately and our servers were Johnny on the spot throughout the whole meal. I got Flo's Filet with a loaded baked potato and it was delicious!!

Jason was our server and made our last dinner of our trip great. We had been in the area a couple days and went to local places and had terrible food and service. We decided to go to Long Horn in hopes of having a better experience and we sure did! The food was delicious and the meal was well paced. Jason took care of everything and was so kind and helpful. The atmosphere was very comfortable and welcoming. Although we don't live in the area we would absolutely come back here verses the local places. Our family all had delicious food and enjoyed our time together at Long Horn.

The food was amazing! The baby back ribs are so flavorful and fall right off of the bone. The salmon was seasoned perfectly and was very flakey. However, the strawberry margarita is very sweet and the strawberry shortcake was decent. The shortcake still seemed a little stiff and frozen. The restaurant gets pretty busy on Fridays after 5pm. The restaurant itself is very spacious and there is room for large parties. The service was kind of slow. It took awhile for the food to come out and the waiter wasn't as attentive because it was pretty busy. However, the waiter was very nice though.

Complimentary bread was warm and fresh. The butter was room temp so it was easy to spread. I hate when restaurants serve cold butter.

My husband and I decided last minute to go out for a steak. This longhorn was the closest to us and we haven't been here since before Covid. We were seated immediately by a very sweet hostess. Our server was very nice. He highly recommended the blue cheese salad dressing and he wasn't wrong. Best blue cheese in a restaurant I've had. The steak was cooked perfectly. We split the cowboy ribeye and got an extra potato. Even the bread was fresh and still warm. So good. 5 all the way last night. We got there around 6:30 on Saturday and there was no wait yet. The restaurant itself was relatively quiet. Family friendly. ADA friendly.

Truthfully, a new cook. Honestly, we'd enjoy LongHorn Steakhouse but tonight I don't know who was cooking but they did a terrible job on our food especially for the price we paid, but like Judge Judy said If you don't like the steak, don't eat the steak send it back . Tonight was my daughter's birthday. She chose to eat here. She normally it there but NOT tonight two thumbs down. From the appetizer to the main course, it was terrible, so we just took our food and left. We had to send everything back that was crazy. I did not want to spoil my daughters day, but trust me the next time that I'm going to ask for the manager and speak to him about the food that we received. The server was good. He took our food back, which was wrong, but by the third time the food being wrong enough was enough we just took what we had and left. We will trying again maybe the cooks were having a bad night I don't know ? We never ate on a Tuesday night there.

I'm not big on eating at chains for steaks but I was given a gift card so might as well. Once we got to our seats, the first thing I noticed was all the food on the floor which was extremely off putting. We don't know much about steaks so we relied on our waiter for explanations on differences of steaks and any recommendations he might have. For appetizer, we ordered the spicy chicken bites. I quite enjoyed them. I really liked the sauce the chicken bites came with. For my entree, I got the 6 oz Renegade sirloin with 8 ct. Redrock Grilled Shrimp. The two sides I selected was the mashed potatoes and side salad. My main meal was alittle underwhelming. The steak and mashed potatoes didn't have much flavor and the shrimp were far too salty. For dessert, which I forgot to picture, I got the cheesecake. It was decent and creamy. Overall, my experience at this location was just OK. I probably wouldn't choose to return.

Took about 40 minutes to get our food and for the price it wasn't that great. Nice ambiance tho and bar tenders were helpful.

Steak was great and our server was very attentive. Very nice for a chain. Lobster tail of our partner was underwhelming.

Berry Burrata 3/5 - Not my favorite, but still decent. Asian Chicken Wraps 3/5 - This was okay, just a little too saucy for me. Fried Green Tomatoes 5/5 - One of our favorites. The pimiento cheese paired perfectly with it. Carolina Burger 4/5 - Huge portion, and my son really enjoyed it. 2nd St Burger 4/5 - Another big portion and overall really good. Kids Pizza & Tenderloins 3/5 - Decent for the kids, though the pizza bread was a bit dense. DRINKS Margarita 4/5 Prickly Pear 4/5 Robin really made our experience even better. She checked on us frequently and made sure everything came out right. The portions here are on the larger side, so I'd recommend ordering family-style if you're dining with a group. Overall, the food was great, and the service made the experience even better.

The fresh catch meal included a simple house salad, and it took 30 minutes for the salad to arrive. Shortly after the salad arrived, our meals came out, and they were lukewarm. I had the grilled mahi mahi with lemon dill butter over some roasted fingerling potatoes and corn. While the fish itself was a nice piece and well prepared, its not-quite-warm temperature made it less appetizing to eat. The same was true for our other meals: the seafood pot pie and the mahi mahi fish tacos. While our waitress offered to have them all reheated, we both didn't have time as we had theatre tickets and reheating the tacos with their toppings, the pot pie with its pastry crust, and the seared fish didn't sound appealing. The restaurant's dining room was comfortable, and the bar area looked vibrant. Hopefully they are still breaking in their new facility, as we liked dining with them in their previous location.

We went on a Sunday afternoon at 3 PM and were promptly seated. The atmosphere was fine, pretty open and unexceptional, but modern and new. Big screen in front of us playing the Sunday football game. Server was quick to get drink orders in, 12 oz. Commonwealth Modern 'Smores stout for $8 and my wife got a $16 Peppermint Espresso Martini. I appreciated the nice Commonwealth stout and the price was fine. The Peppermint Espresso martini was mediocre and very overpriced considering that. Our food took a long time. Like 3 apologies from the server long. There were 2 parties of like 10 that were in process when we sat so I get it. But I do feel like something should be given when it's 45 minutes plus on food. Anyway, on to the food.... My kid is not much of an eater and they did not have any type of kid menu. Ended up with a soft pretzel for $13. Add cheese fondue and it's $16. It was very big and delicious.... At $16 it's hard to be excited about it though. The cheese fondue definitely made the pretzel. I was not overly hungry and got She crab soup $8.50 for the cup and a Caesar salad $5. The soup was good, they add the crab on top so you can see they give you about half a cup and for the price it was good. Definitely not the best she crab soup in the area, but good enough. Caesar was just croutons, Parmesan and dressing and was fine. My wife got the "fresh catch" Chilean Sea Bass for $33. It was kind of fishy tasting. Fresh fish is rarely fishy. It was overcooked, horribly plated and the blackened seasoning had minimal flavor. It was bad. We asked for some tarter for it and it made it tolerable. The server offered to replace it, but having just waited 45 minutes for food we weren't going to chance something else, particularly since we were with another couple. While we were waiting I had 2 $3 special Budweisers and my wife had a $14 Snowflake Margarita. They were all fine. My kids sprite was $4 which feels outrageous, but I don't know what places are charging these days for sodas. I normally don't pay attention. Bill came with another apology for all the waiting and no discount. Tough to make it as a seafood restaurant when you are struggling with your seafood. I heard their seafood nachos are excellent.... Maybe I'll give them another chance for those. My first experience was not a good one.

Exceptional! Our server Jaedin was terrific. The only aspect to mar our visit was a snippy, snarky little-bit-of-a-thing hostess who never made eye contact and barked at us when we asked to be seated in a booth... said they were reserved, but we ordered, ate and finished and two booths remained open. We were there for a Monday lunch, can't speak to the dinner service. We also weren't drinking alcohol that day, though I thought the beer flights looked tempting. One of us had a cheeseburger that was requested to be "pink" and was overcooked and just blah. One of us had a chicken salad that was served with no chicken. Someone from the kitchen rushed out with a soup bowl filled with chicken slices that looked like those Perdue rotisserie chicken slices you buy at the grocery store. Dumped them on the salad. She did apologize. Our third order was a Restaurant Week special fried oyster salad vouched for by our server, Bailey, who was pleasant and efficient. It came with corn, black beans, mixed greens, cotija cheese and a spicy dressing. It wasn't awful but I think the overall concept was weird. Fried oyster taco salad? The few oyster pieces were tasty. Maybe we were there on a bad day, which happens. The chicken salad fiasco was funny. Not a place I would drive across town to try twice. Maybe stick to burgers and plenty of beer.
