I am so disappointed as this is our 5th time to the restaurant and usually it has been very good! Today my steak I could barely cut with their strong steak knife and almost choked eating a few bites and had to spit it out ! I did order the sirloin which is the more affordable steak however it had never been like this. Also! My baked potato tasted OLD and this has never happened to me there either ... so sad about this. I told my husband I will cook steak and baked potatos at home next time - managers Please you need to get this improved !! We will try again as had such a good history but customers ask for your potato or meat to be replaced if not up to standard ! That is what I should have done ! Beyond rude. We/our waitress were directed by the hostess to a both beside the restroom door. There was another empty booth on the other side of the restroom too. Beside the table we were to be seated at was another empty booth. The empty booth was clean...no crumbs on the table, definitely no drinks or dirty dishes. There wasn't even silverware on the table. We asked the waitress who was seating us if we could have the empty booth that was not right beside the restroom door. She said "yes", seated us, and gave us silverware and menus. Several minutes later the hostess appears at our table and says "you all have to move. This is someone else's table." No apology, no "excuse me", no "I'm sorry but..." The first words were "You all have to move." I pointed out that there wasn't even no silverware nor even any other evidence that anyone was using that booth, and that our waitress had seated us there. It wasn't as if we got up and moved on our own. The hostess offered to seat us elsewhere and then kept insisting the booth was occupied. "They went outside" "they already ordered" "that's not where you were seated" (I believe that is the real reason.) We left to go elsewhere (edited to remove the other restaurant's name) I even asked to speak to the general manager but he was more interested in repeatedly saying "I'm sorry " as he kept herding us to the door, Once outside? No one to be seen except a Longhorn employee carrying a bag of food out to a car. I won't be treated rudely by service staff, nor lied to, no treated as if my complaint was a burden to the general manager. I have eaten here many times, but never again. Longhorn is done. read more

However, the strawberry margarita is very sweet and the strawberry shortcake was decent. The shortcake still seemed a little stiff and frozen. The restaurant gets pretty busy on Fridays after 5pm. The restaurant itself is very spacious and there is room for large parties. The service was kind of slow. Our server was very nice. He highly recommended the blue cheese salad dressing and he wasn't wrong. Best blue cheese in a restaurant I've had. The steak was cooked perfectly. We' have visited LongHorn Steakhouse in Williamsburg twice. We walked away completely pleased on both occasions. Quality and portions of the food is remarkable. We were courteously greeted almost immediately by the manager, as all the waitresses were busy. Our waitress was exceptionally friendly. A lot of western decorations, but that's not as important as the professionalism and quality we enjoyed. The wait for the food was reasonable, as steaks take time to cook right. Asparagus, mashed potatoes, and mac-n-cheese were fresh and at the right temperature. Quality steaks require a good price but they a no higher than other steakhouses. We visited this evening and there were several large parties. We were told 20 minute wait, no big deal. We were walking to our table after more than 30 minutes....the smell in the entire restaurant was horrible. Absolutely disgusting!! We didn't smell it at the front because there is no carpet. If we hadn't waited so long with 2 small kids, we would have gone else where. We ordered 3 steaks, medium rare. Not a single one was how we ordered. We got rare, well done, and medium. I went with a large party of roughly 17 including at least 8 small children. It took at least 30 minutes to get seated despite having a reservation and at least 15 minutes for service. They seemed really overwhelmed by our party. The food was just.....bad. Multiple steaks sent back and red despite requesting well done, my rice was hard, and my steak was tough and bleeding when I asked for medium well. My husband did not get what the sides he asked for and his chicken was bland. The easiest part was parking. We have our server a good tip because she really did try her best. The crazy part is that the restaurant was not busy. I think they need a new cook and more help. read more

Honestly, we'd enjoy LongHorn Steakhouse but tonight I don't know who was cooking but they did a terrible job on our food especially for the price we paid, but like Judge Judy said If you don't like the steak, don't eat the steak send it back . Tonight was my daughter's birthday. She chose to eat here. She normally it there but NOT tonight two thumbs down. From the appetizer to the main course, it was terrible, so we just took our food and left. We had to send everything back that was crazy. I did not want to spoil my daughters day, but trust me the next time that I'm going to ask for the manager and speak to him about the food that we received. The server was good. He took our food back, which was wrong, but by the third time the food being wrong enough was enough we just took what we had and left. I'm not big on eating at chains for steaks but I was given a gift card so might as well. Once we got to our seats, the first thing I noticed was all the food on the floor which was extremely off putting. We don't know much about steaks so we relied on our waiter for explanations on differences of steaks and any recommendations he might have. For appetizer, we ordered the spicy chicken bites. I quite enjoyed them. I really liked the sauce the chicken bites came with. For my entree, I got the 6 oz Renegade sirloin with 8 ct. Redrock Grilled Shrimp. The two sides I selected was the mashed potatoes and side salad. My main meal was alittle underwhelming. The steak and mashed potatoes didn't have much flavor and the shrimp were far too salty. For dessert, which I forgot to picture, I got the cheesecake. It was decent and creamy. Overall, my experience at this location was just OK. I probably wouldn't choose to return. read more

The manager was not at all understanding and seemed to believe our experience was less important than his staff's learning to do their job by trial and error. Our service was great, but the food left something to be desired. I ordered a mixed green salad with ranch which was good. I also ordered the Brussels sprouts as a side which were also very good. The bread was okay but could have been better. The real disappointment was the steak. I ordered a 12 oz Ribeye medium. It came out at best medium well. It was greasy. Awful management! We were frequent customers. It was hit or miss with good service. The last time we went after seated we waited for someone to come type of acknowledgment. The manager seeing we hadn't been waited on continued to clean the table next to us! Finally a waitress came over and served us but acted as if we were bothering her. Our orders were simple and straight off the menu except for extra butter and ranch dressing. Even after asking several times we never deceived them and did not get refills on drinks. Also on another time...Don't even think about trying to have a party there! Go to Outback. They made our party awesome and never blinked an eye accommodating us. If you call them earlier in the day that you would like to have a party there, they respond with we will see you the. However, at Longhorn, after calling three times talking to a manager each time just to verify and each time as (we understood they do not take reservations) we're told to call the day off at about 1pm which we did to be told they have another large party at the same time and we will be waiting a long time for a table. Went there to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was only 3 of us on Sunday afternoon between lunch and dinner. It was not busy. Our waitress, Meghan was nice and attentive in the beginning. We ordered an appetizer and lunch. Our food arrived in a timely manner. Both friends ordered the Flo Filet. One medium and one medium rare. The medium was borderline medium to well done and very tough. The other came medium instead of medium rare. Meghan never came back to our table to see if everything was good. I kept looking around to find her and saw other staff not busy and talking. Finally I saw Meghan come from the kitchen and I held up my hand to get her attention. I thought she may have seen me but she did not come to the table. Instead she went behind the bar. Again looking around to other staff I raised my hand in hopes someone would see me but they did not. Finally Meghan rudely yelled at me from behind the bar that she was checking someone out at the register and would be over after. By then a lot of time had gone by and the celebratory experience was gone. Finally unapologetically she came to the table and I asked for the manager. My receipt says the manager was Daniel so I assume that is who it was. I explained about the food issue and the way Meghan yelled from the bar. He offered to get another steak but again so much time passed that my friend declined. He was NOT apologetic at all and just said he would "pass it on"....but to who??? I should have clarified before he walked way. After a while Meghan came back to the table to ask us about the check. I told her that I wanted to clear the air and explained why we were upset and that I thought it inappropriate to yell at us from the bar. She made excuses but NEVER apologized. When we got our bill they did not take any meals off our bill. We don't go out and celebrate just for the food. It's about a great experience as well. The steak was oil and a little cold. The bartender/server didn't bring it to the table, another server did. The bartender/server never came by to check. So I sat there eating my cold and oily steak (which I shouldn't have), out of coke, waiting to this experience to end. The. How disappointing this evening was- we were going to enjoy the national football game while we had dinner at our local Longhorn. We asked to sit in the bar area, but even though there were five empty tables, the manager told us we were not able to sit in there. We had to sit in the regular dining room, where we were unable to watch the game. The restaurant was mostly empty so there was absolutely no reason why one of the other servers or the bartender could not have waited on us in the bar area. Very attentive and friendly, provided the complimentary bread in a to-go bag as requested. I ordered the half-rack baby back ribs, and the proper sides. My glass of water was always topped off. Perfection! A lot of food, but I managed well. Great meal, I left full and happy! My only issue is that it's tucked away in a shopping center, so a small venture to find it, and that's not a big deal. Worthy of a 5-star review for my waitress' customer service.
