We loved the breakfast buffet at Traditions restaurant in the Williamsburg Lodge! we booked the Americas historic triangle package, which came with two adult breakfast buffets every morning. it was everything you could want from an American breakfast buffet. Omelettes made to order, great, scrambled eggs, pancakes, French, toast, fruit, oatmeal, and all the trimmings. Everything was delicious Rochelle took fantastic care of us! Robert was really outstanding. He seemed to connect with every guest and genuinely cared about your experience! The restaurant was inviting and had a classic feel. Highly recommend when you're in Williamsburg!

Great service. Attentive staff. For lunch, I ordered the Italian Toastie with fries. The sandwich was not what I expected but that's my fault for not reading the menu close enough. The sandwich came with an olive tapenade and I hate olives so I had to scrap it off. Unfortunately it was hard to get it all off and that combined with the malt vinegar taste, I didn't even eat the second half of the sandwich. It was just not enjoyable. The fries on the other hand were crispy and delicious. For breakfast, I ordered the Traditions Breakfast which had two scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes and rye toast. Overall pretty good. Potatoes were kind of hard and small. Eggs were good. Bacon was crispy. And the thick cut rye toast looked homemade and was delicious with some strawberry jam. They have a moderately sized dining room that is usually open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sometimes they have a continental breakfast buffet as well as a full breakfast menu.

Very nice breakfast buffet with plenty of selections. Eggs were super fluffy, bacon crisp, French toast was yummy. Staff was super friendly and very attentive. We were really happy.

The breakfast here was ok. The menu selection was limited. Coffee was mediocre. We ordered milk and orange juice but were served with coffee instead...... Anyway, we were still happy to have dine-in breakfast option other than grad-and-go during our stay at colonial Williamsburg.

We had the continental breakfast buffet for $15 & were quite happy. As much fresh fruit & hot oatmeal & scrambled eggs & cereal & coffee & juice as we wanted. Excellent service! Pleasant atmosphere.

My family and I went to the special occasion brunch and wow! The food was to die for; everything was amazing. It's the kind of place where you have to try everything because it seems like nothing was done wrong. Our waitress was very attentive and kind; our drinks were never left empty. The only reason I give it four stars is because of our interaction with the host and hostess. I don't even know if you could call it an interaction because they practically ignored us. The host told the hostess that the group of 5 had arrived and then just motioned for us to follow him while he continued to flirt with the hostess. Never welcomed us or said good morning or anything of the sort. Overall, the experience was amazing.

My room service tray! Perfect way to unwind after a long day.

I am staying at the Williamsburg Lodge and after a long work conference I decided to order room service from the traditions restaurant menu in the room. I ended up getting several items off the room service menu and I was really impressed. I had shrimp and grits as an appetizer and it was amazing.... I wanted a second helping! I also had a chicken panini with a side Cesar salad and a pecan pie for dessert. It was so nice to have the food delivered on a nice cart with a rose too! This was exactly what I needed after a long stressful day. I highly recommend room service!

Came here for breakfast. Great service. I like to have hot tea with my breakfast and hate it when the hot water is lukewarm. The server was very good about making sure that the tea was good and the water was boiling hot. The breakfast buffet is quite extensive but without an omelette station. Nonetheless the biscuits with southern gravy were great! The decor of the restaurant is also quite charming like the hotel itself. I was seated in a room with wood paneling and a fireplace. Very comfortable!

Attentive, without being disruptive, wonderful communicating, extremely knowledgeable, and intuitive. Our food was cooked perfectly! Each item had its own individual tastes which was very refreshing. Definitely a great date night, family dinner, and drinks w friends place.

I searched for French dip in Williamsburg. Second street bistro kept coming up on ChatGPT. I looked…read moreat the menu and saw a brisket sandwich. When I got to the restaurant I asked if they had horse radish: no. Au jus: yes. I wanted a piece of Carrot cake but I thought $18 was exorbitant. I opted for the pecan pie instead. The online menu said they had some crispy chicken dinner... It was no longer part of the menu when I arrived to the restaurant.. My significant other is allergic to shellfish, and does not eat pork... There weren't a lot of entrée options for him because there was pork all over the place. I did order him some salmon since he could not get the chicken. He liked the salmon. The broccoli had no flavor on it. And the brown rice pilaf was equally Bland. The brisket sandwich was ...okay... but dipping it in French onion soup calling it onion jus.... It just pissed me off. I think the menu was overpriced for tourists. The staff seemed to be doing the best they could. I guess I'll continue my hunt for the best Friend dip in Williamsburg. I'm down here a lot.

I wasn't expecting it, and haven't had wings that made me want to lick my fingers in forever, so hats off to ST&B for making me do it. The wings are top tier and the crab bisque is tasty. We enjoy the coziness of the dining room past the bar and the tv with the game on didn't hurt either. The cocktails were crafty and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Cheers!

We are a middle aged couple, and sometimes when we have the kids with us we review from that perspective as well. We were traveling for Thanksgiving and they had a pre set menu for $48 a person which included an appetizer of Winter soup, the main dinner and as amazing! The turkey was cooked perfectly, not dry! The stuffing was to die for, the mashed potatoes full of creamy flavor, and don't get me started on the collard greens! Just give me the whole pot!! They KNOW how to do collards. The desert was also very good, pumpkin pie with butter pecan ice cream. Overall the place was great, my only issue was that you had to make a reservation (which I get) but we didn't have one and figured we would try anyway. So we walk in and ask if there is any available seats... mind you I saw like 4 full open tables, a long high top table with 10-12 seats available... she looks at her list and starts counting, asks if I'm ok with a high top, I say yes, so we take the seats at the long table that seats like 12 as a shared table. So were there for a little over an hour and not one of those available tables when I walked in were used. I am not sure if they have in place where if your 10 minutes late for your reservation then you forfeit your table. Because paying customers would have liked that table. But the food was amazing and that made up for it. With tip, Thanksgiving dinner was about $149 for 2 people.
