For the most part, it's street parking where we found a very good spot and restaurants and stores galore. Let's see how this spot turned out for us. Inside, the decor is very nice. They have a few tables inside and plenty in the outside patio. It's basically a spot that's takeout but if want to dine-in, that's totally fine. And they serve Kung Fu Tea, one of our favorite guilty pleasures that unfortunately closed near us months ago. After a few minutes, we ordered at the counter. Along with a large Strawberry Milk slush, I selected a 5 piece tender combo with a side of crinkle fries. First off, the slush was pretty good. At 50% sugar with boba pearls, it hit the sweet spot very well. It felt like old times when we used to order KFT often. But, the chicken combo itself was underwhelmimg. The food came out hot and ready, but the tenders were tough to break apart either by biting into it or with your hands if you dipped in any of their sauces. Sophia ordered a chicken sandwich and wasn't impressed, saying eating a Chick-Fil-A sandwich is better. That says a lot. I did take some home to eat for leftovers, but like earlier, could've been better. Not to put any bad press on the business, but it was disappointing. Again, it's basically a takeout spot and one for KFT admirers like us. We will come back only for that reason the next time we're around.

It was all delicious. Fried to perfection, the fish was amazing with every bite. The Mac was good and I added some hot sauce for some extra kick. The fries were nice and fresh. I also got the sweet tea which was the perfect sweetness to pair with this meal. It looked to be freshly made. The manger definitely was in the wrong, if there isn't enough kitchen staff trained to prepare food than they shouldn't be opened for business! When our food finally arrived, the wings were extremely overcooked and absolutely drenched in sauce. My 15-year-old son, who loves our hometown Bdubs, could only choke down 3 of them. I tasted one myself, and honestly, I can't even describe how much teriyaki sauce was smothered on it. I ordered the patty melt. It was overcooked & super dry amd definitely not worth the price. The fries were loaded with salt, and the other two meals in our party were, at best, just okay. By the time we finally left, we had been there for over two hours. For what we paid and the overall experience, it simply wasn't worth it. Even the restroom could use a good cleaning. I always try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt because everyone can have an off night, and I understand that staffing issues happen. But with the lack of people in the restaurant, the long wait for drinks, the issues we witnessed at the table beside us, the quality of our food, and the amount of time we spent there, this was unfortunately not a good experience. Even on a busy Friday night, we were seated in under thirty minutes. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and handled multiple tables with ease. He stayed on top of our orders and refills, and he took allergies seriously, checking with the kitchen to make sure certain dishes were safe. That level of care is always appreciated. As always, the food was excellent. I usually go for the crabcakes, but this time I tried the special, a crowned salmon, and it was so tasty. They truly do seafood well here, and the portions are always hearty. Every experience here is consistently great. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the manager even stopped by our table to check in, which was a nice touch. I always recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Williamsburg.
