They were very welcoming, and Cesar was more than happy to help to explain their menu. We liked how they also offer frozen items that you can buy to stock up on, like frozen lumpia (with instructions on the packaging). The restaurant is clean and has a few chairs for while you wait for your take-out order. There's a large TV mounted on the wall to keep you entertained, as well as a neat post-it note display of well-wishes where you can add your own sentiment to. We ordered the pancit bihon, and Cesar made sure to ask if anyone had a seafood allergy since the pancit is topped with shrimp. It was delicious. We appreciated the piece of lemon to squeeze on top of the pancit. Nice touch! We also ordered the Chicken ala Cubana empanadas and the Pork Asado empanadas. The flaky crust and savory fillings were savory. We added a couple of Sulit Meals where you choose your protein and the meal includes garlic fried rice and a can of soda. Our protein choices were the Chicken Adobo for one meal and Pork Sisig for the other meal. Both meals were topped with a fried egg. The chicken adobo and pork sisig were tasty and satisfying. These Sulit meals have generous serving sizes. We're looking forward to the next time we're back in the area so that we can try some other menu items.

For our 38th anniversary we decided to check out a little German place we had seen online. On entry is a cute but spacious Bavarian themed eatery, some high tops a small bar and plenty of booths and tables. We chose a cozy corner. Service was attentive and friendly, unsweet tea nicely brewed. We chose a cheese plate appetizer, followed by rouladin for one of us, which was devoured. The other of us chose a nicely breaded Weiner schnitzel. Sides of potato dumplings, sauerkraut and red cabbage were great compliments. The dessert choices were plentiful and the apple German cheesecake was suggested. It came with a side of caramel and was just the right compliment to the end of our meal. Total was under $70 plus gratuity for 2 drinks, an appetizer, 2 entrees and dessert. The environs are very casual and give off a Bavarian blue, white and yellow themed vibe.
