    Dela Granja (best drink)

Food was delicious. Service was amazing. The booths look so cute so that's where we sat lol it was very cozy with not a whole lot of seating, but I'm sure they'll be able to handle a small party. There is a bar area as well but I don't usually drink alcohol so not sure how well it actually is but it looked nice to me. Highly recommend trying the horchata (almost tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk) and the Dela Granja in the fridge. The Chicken omelette doesn't come with pancakes unless you ask and the carnitas burritos can come as two or one burrito. The horchata comes in a big beer like glass with ice (did not get a pic) and I believe comes with at least one refill or at least I wasn't charged extra for it

The chori Pollo was fresh and very good. Nice portions on all the dishes.

The one standout was their take on a Crunchwrap supreme (their take from Taco Bell and it was good! The chalupas were burnt and hardly had any meat in both of them The chicken was good but when I mentioned that it was overly fried the man behind the counter did not care at all and just looked at me. I just ate the little bit of meat out of it, couldn't even eat the shell! Not worth $8 for one! The other taco was a chicken mole and it wasn't bad but for most street tacos they give you two tortillas to hold it all together. Only one and it all fell apart. Will not be returning!

It was adequate but nothing to write home about…read more Mainly I question the value. We were visiting from DC, which is objectively a more expensive area, and yet the price per taco was higher than individual tacos at our favorite taco chain in DC, especially for the shrimp and, especially curiously, the cauliflower. And then the portions of shrimp and cauliflower in those tacos was pretty disappointing. Also, very fried. Nachos and quesadillas seemed like a better value than tacos so, while my husband got the aforementioned tacos, I got the nachos without any added protein. Much better value - huge portion at a small price. Some odd choices though. There was an appropriate amount of cheese (beer cheese, which seemed appropriate given its location inside a beer hall) but a really small amount of other toppings (beans, corn, pico I think?) relative to the huge amount of raw jalapeño slices. The dish relies really heavily on jalapeño for flavor and freshness, and I like jalapeño, but these woud be more appropriately described as "jalapeño and cheese on chips" than nachos, IMO. If you love raw jalapeño you'll be in heaven but for those who are accustomed to jalapeños being an accent, this is A LOT. It was like the primary ingredient after chips, even above cheese. All in all, it's fine if you're in the area and want tacos or need food with your beer but is it somewhere I would go out of my way to visit? Probably not.

So, let's find out how the visit went. There weren't a lot of people inside and there was only one waitress attending to tables. They have a bar area, tables and booths. We decided to eat near the entrance to their supermarket. It took a while for us to roam through the menu, but decided on what we wanted a few minutes after getting seates. I chose a 1/2 chicken with two sides (fried yucca and french fries). The Peruvian chicken was pretty good and flavorful. Both the fried yucca and fries could've been seasoned more, but were plentiful. I actually saved half of my meal for takeout and tasted well for dinner. Unfortunately, the bad part of our visit was the decor. The restaurant is located in a strip mall which has seen better days. Seats at the booth are torn up.....literally. The tables are outdated. The floor is in pretty bad shape, especially near the bar area. And in the bathroom, the paper towel dispenser was not connected to the wall and instead, laying on the floor. It's not comfortable washing your hands and then turning it sideways where you can get paper. I really don't mean to sound mean,, but the decor alone would turn folks away. It needs a big renovation all around. Hopefully, down the road, they can upgrade or they may become a thing of the past :(

It's an open, clean space, and the staff is absolutely top-notch. We had the avocado/guacamole dish, and I haven't seen a setup like that since I was in Lisbon, Portugal. You have to mash the avocado into the sauce, as seen in this image, and mix it all together. The flavor is top-tier. We also had the cauliflower tacos and a shrimp/gambas al ajillo dish. Again, both were very good. There's also a paella dish that I saw someone else order, and it's probably large enough for two people to split. We'll definitely be going back within the next couple of weeks to try that as well. Everything we tried that first night forced me to want to go back within the month. Top-notch place, top-notch vibe.

Unfortunately, I can't say I'm likely to ever go back. Went there with my GF and mom on a Thursday night. Breaking iot down: 1. This place is SOOOOOPER loud. I mean, it would be loud enough with just a lot of people talking in a close space that apparently has no acoustic deadening, but for some reason the management thought there needed to be pounding trance music as well. Can't carry on a conversation. Can't hear the waitstaff. Stupidly loud. 2. The service was good. They coulda been a little faster with the initial greeting, but it was generally good overall. 3. The food is fine. Tasty and well-presented. It's pretty F-ing expensive for what you get, but it *is* an upscale tapas place, so there you go. Just know that going in: you're gonna spend a lot of $ for not a ton of food. If they could somehow fix the noise problem I might be back, but right now the downs outweigh the ups. By a lot.
