    Casa Margarita

We brought my mother in law here for her first time and let me just say--it was love at first bite. The char-grilled oysters? Life changing. She was mid-sentence and just stopped to close her eyes and savor (I kid you NOT!) that's when I knew we made the right decision in bringing her to one of our favorite spots. I've been coming here with my husband for a while now, and they never miss. We split the grilled fish (always fresh, always flavorful), and we request the chili oil on the side because a little goes a long way. Pro tip: their house hot sauce? We buy it every time we're there. We also ordered the ceviche (refreshing, balanced, and beautifully plated, and their margarita is one of the few in town that actually tastes crafted--not syrupy. The War & Pisco cocktail was a surprise favorite for my MIL; light, sparkling, with a perfect hint of raspberry and basil. The vibe is cozy but lively, perfect for a date night or introducing someone to your go-to local gem. Every time we visit, the food is consistent, the service is kind but never pushy, and we leave talking about what we'll order next time.

Got to check out the patio for the first time on a Wednesday night with family. Place was packed so we ate outside and despite the rain that came in we stayed dry. Ceiling fans need to be on high though to keep the flies away! For appetizers we got Oysters and yellow fin tuna Crudo. Both were prepared well and tasted delicious. Oysters were fresh and the crudo was unique. For entrees we all got tacos: Grilled fish- which was swordfish for the day Fried chicken Oyster po-boy Whatever the sauce is on the grilled fish tacos makes it the superior choice. While the oyster, po-boy was good I will certainly be getting multiple fish tacos next time. My only complaint about the fish tacos.- It seemed a little light on the fish part. Needs a healthier portion. I was still hungry after having one oyster, a third of the Crudo and two tacos and at $40 a person for appetizers and entrées. I feel like I shouldn't be hungry lol Next time I'll be ordering my own Crudo cause it was so good I don't want to share!

Friends visiting so tried this place out finally. Pros: Oysters (raw and grilled) Beer happy hour specials were great Service (they do this exceptionally well!) The salad with cabbage, peanuts, mint, oranges and nuc nam dressing was Delicious! Hush puppies 3 out of the 4 in the group liked them! Space-nice design inside and great artwork up on the walls. Not overly large. Does have a large patio during good weather. Cons: Not a fan of their tacos. Shrimp toast

Fantastic! Another great restaurant in Williamsburg! Be sure to add this establishment to your list of places to visit! Their menu is not super extensive but, it has a lot to offer in flavor. I feel like when you don't have a huge menu, you're able to focus on the task at hand, great food, great presentation, and great taste. Casa Pearl really nailed all that for us. When we arrived, we parked in the private lot. We were seated immediately in a cute corner where we could just see everything. Our food came out hot and fresh. Everything was made to order it seemed. My husband and kiddos raved about the food. So much so that the other day my husband mentioned coming back here to check the menu out. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu u which was helpful. Great experience, we will be back.

On our way out of Yorktown, we meandered to Casa Pearl for a bite. We expected a simple, local spot but it turned out to be a lot more. First, fresh oysters of all sorts. I got a briny Mystic, a medium Laughing King (my favorite), a local Minnie Pearl, and several Victory Points as they were half off for happy hour. Add some home made hot sauce, slurp, and delicious! We also got the whole catch of the day, flounder, perfectly cooked and topped with fennel with a slightly spicy romesco underneath. One bite after another and next thing you know there's nothing but a pile of bones on the plate. Add some perfectly seasoned and cooked hush puppies with honey butter and we had to roll ourselves out the door! This is the best part of Yelp - finding local businesses that are doing it right! Five stars...but if I could give them more, I would. What are you waiting for - go visit Casa Pearl and fill your belly! You'll be glad you did!

We went to Casa Pearl for the first time and really enjoyed it. We were looking for a restaurant that felt like a beach place, and Casa Pearl hit the mark. They specialize in oysters and tacos. We ordered six oysters, a pork taco, and a fried oysters po-boy taco, as well as hush puppies, crispy brussel sprouts, and cocktails. We had a great time trying the oysters with the different toppings like red wine and cocktail sauce. We arrived during happy hour, so one of types of oysters, the hush puppies, and the pork taco, plus our drinks were discounted. They did a great job of pacing our order so the food was hot as we ate it. The cuisine was excellent! The staff are clearly happy working at Casa Pearl, and they go out of their way to serve you. The restaurant is in a refurbished gas station. The atmosphere is cool and fun without being overdone. The sea theme is carried into the restrooms too. I can't wait to go back to Casa Pearl!

I've heard great things about Casa Pearl and it lives up to the hype. The cocktail worked well with the fried hush puppies and the freshness of the oysters. The pork taco was good and had a small kick (spice haters should be fine with it). Getting three different oysters was a fun experience. They all had very different flavors. The Victory Points were smooth and sweet, the White Stones were a little fishy and the Pungoteague Creek ones were rich in flavor. The menu says they taste like miso, but I'd disagree - they're more robust tasting than salty and umami. It can fill up quickly, so you might have to wait for a seat, but while it's busy, it's not that loud. The servers also also very attentive, making sure waters stay full and ready to help if you want to order more.

3 years since my first review of this place and I'm happy to say that they just keep getting better! The consistency of their food quality, the friendly atmosphere from both their staff and their patrons, and how they mix things up with their excellent specials keeps me coming back time after time! A+++ all the way!

Casa Pearl is a gem or should I say pearl in Williamsburg! My Yelp bestie and I popped in on a Friday night and it was bustling with activity! It's not the biggest restaurant, but they also have an outdoor patio. It is still chilly these days, so we opted to stay in, especially since the sun had gone down already. - Parking - Private lot. Since restaurant was busy, I can see issues finding a spot, so go early. They quickly found us a seat for two and we got to ordering! I was so excited since I love seafood. Ceviche - it was super refreshing and the avocado and watermelon radish was a great contrast in texture. This is served with taro root chips. Oysters - we ordered two of each variety they had on the menu that night, ranging from size and salinity. I love oysters, but I definitely did have a favorite in the 4 varieties. I should have asked which one it was, but it was a medium size and I could have downed a dozen of those! Po boy oyster and grilled fish tacos - Both very good! They come with corn tortillas, and a decent size. Key lime pie - so this is not the traditional pie. It's a deconstructed key lime pie, served in a little glass pot. It has a light graham cracker layer with the key lime cream and then the whipped cream piped into little bubbles at the top! Very light and a great ending to the meal! Grab a seat if you can and enjoy, Friends! Never stop exploring!

Such a fantastic gem in the Burg that many continue to find. They celebrated 5 years this year. Chef Mike came from the West coast with a lot of industry knowledge and expertise of handling seafood. He had an immediate hit on his hands converting a gas station to Casa Pearl. He later enhanced the modest outdoor seating. I've been twice and both times their signature tacos were a slam dunk. But don't dare miss out on their oysters. They are also known for delicious craft cocktails that can be sipped at their small bar. My most recent visit I sat in the dining room on a Saturday evening solo. My waitress was immediately attentive after my hostess sat me. I ordered a water with my drive back home. I started off with a half dozen salty kiss oysters. Then a variety of three taco later. The oysters were fresh and came with the accompanying items to add. Super yum! My tacos followed and the fish at market was my favorite. I finished the meal off with a cheesecake that was the bomb! It's worth the drive from the beach, it's that good!

This is an excellent small restaurant with great options for happy hour that are fresh. I think it's great to see that small businesses can have as innovative of a menu as this place does and that it's not just larger seafood chains. I would recommend anything on their specials menu. Their oysters are also fresh. I docked a point because of the pricing that's a little high for this area but overall a great experience.
