First time here. We went for lunch. Great service. Good food and reasonable prices. Decent portions.

The food was absolutely amazing. If you enjoy seafood, I highly recommend the Patas Louisiana. My only critique is that the music was far too loud. It felt more like a nightclub, which made it very difficult to have a conversation. I asked them to turn it down, but it was still not the kind of background music where you can comfortably talk with your family. Otherwise, the service was great. I would definitely come back.

The restaurants interior definitely surprised me, there're a lot of pretty plants and glowing signs. Even the chairs were cute. They give you complimentary chips with salsa and spicy, citrusy, sweet white sauce. And every time we ran out of chips they immediately refilled them. Our server did the same with water as well. The food all came out in a timely manner too, about 5-10 minutes after we ordered our food came out. I ordered the Burro Michoacano, and it was really good. The carnitas on the inside were shredded but still crispy and tender, the queso underneath it was delicious, and the beans and rice were amazing as well. Everyone else at my table agreed and said that their food was delicious as well. We'd also gotten our food off of the lunch menu, and the serving sizes were still huge. Overall, I'd definitely recommend trying out this restaurant for the amazing service and food.

I got the crablegs, corn, potatoes and shrimp and it was terrible. Shrimp was overcooked, and the food had no flavor

So, let's find out how the visit went. There weren't a lot of people inside and there was only one waitress attending to tables. They have a bar area, tables and booths. We decided to eat near the entrance to their supermarket. It took a while for us to roam through the menu, but decided on what we wanted a few minutes after getting seates. I chose a 1/2 chicken with two sides (fried yucca and french fries). The Peruvian chicken was pretty good and flavorful. Both the fried yucca and fries could've been seasoned more, but were plentiful. I actually saved half of my meal for takeout and tasted well for dinner. Unfortunately, the bad part of our visit was the decor. The restaurant is located in a strip mall which has seen better days. Seats at the booth are torn up.....literally. The tables are outdated. The floor is in pretty bad shape, especially near the bar area. And in the bathroom, the paper towel dispenser was not connected to the wall and instead, laying on the floor. It's not comfortable washing your hands and then turning it sideways where you can get paper. I really don't mean to sound mean,, but the decor alone would turn folks away. It needs a big renovation all around. Hopefully, down the road, they can upgrade or they may become a thing of the past :(

We also got tres leches and I don't know about that one. I love tres leches and I think it may have been on the old side. Despite that, I'd still return because the food was worth it.

That's right, a robot comes out of the kitchen and right to your table with your food. That's a first for mee!! The drinks were excellent too. I would recommend trying this restaurant if you're visiting Williamsburg. I'm keeping this as a great review but one thing to mention and be mindful of, CHECK YOUR BILL FOR ACCURACY! Three out of the four of us thought it was intentional that out of the 4 margaritas we ordered, all the same when we ordered them, but on the bill one of them was charged as a monster size ($30.00) when it should've been $15.00. Also an extra soda was tacked on for another $5.00. (Yeah remember us??) Hopefully we're wrong about what we think, but we're from NY and are kinda in tune to that kind of crap lol. But other than that, we all thought it was a great experience and great food too! So it's all good at the end. Go try it! But watch your bill.
