Shredded chicken taco
Caroline J.

Went on a Tuesday and enjoyed their $1.50 taco special of either a chicken or ground beef hard shell. The shells seemed that they were just fried and were so good. I only tried the shredded chicken and they were delicious. Chips, salsa and white sauce were all good. The Coke was also really good. Our waitress was super attentive and checked on us often. Not overly large restaurant but plenty of seats, including booths and tables.

Cucumber chips for dipping!!!

Ten stars for the tortilla chips alternative of sliced cucumber + lime juice + tajin with guacamole. Really love their entire healthy menu. The steak in the burrito bowl was a little tough (not great quality) and the cauliflower rice was more like cauliflower mash (the frozen green giant stuff microwaved is better) but again, TEN STARS for the tortilla chips alternative. I will 100% be eating cucumber at home this way from now on.

Attentive and responsive service. Food came quickly and was hot and delicious. Clean, lovely space. Music unobtrusive. Surprised it wasn't busier but I guess we came rather late for this area (7pm+.)

chilli relleno, enchilada, burrito combo
Rachel Macie H.

I'm always on the search for something scrumptious and what I found here was definitely that right there! So I went with one of the combos with an enchilada, chilli relleno, and a burrito all of it was delicious and definitely hit the spot! Their red sauce was yummy it had a good flavor to it making each item just that much more enjoyable than the next! The enchiladas were awesome they were packed with cheese which had a really yummy gooey flavor to it just the way it should be! The real star was my chilli relleno as that was legit and delicious definitely one of the better ones I've had on the east coast as the pepper was perfectly stuffed with cheese it had a nice fry on it and just totally the best part of this yummy dish! The burrito was also good but the real star was the chilli relleno so definitely seek that out here as it's just that yummy! They also give you chips and salsa which both were yummy too as I love a good spot where both of those are good too! Overall cool place that's not to far from Busch if your in the area definitely check it out as it's yummy!

We had come here from nh with family from nc to go to bush gardens and had chosen this place to eat back in April the food was great then tried to do a review but got lost in my travels the staff were nice and polite as well as efficient and quick so we decided to try this place again today This place once again did not disappoint We had the steak quesadillas they were fresh as were the rice and beans the wraps were warm there was also enough steak for leftovers to take home for am breakfast burritos The flavor was good the service again was on point their understanding of English is a little broken but be patient The restaurant was clean Plenty of seating Will return will recommend

Discovered this restaurant while leaving Busch gardens and lucked out because there weren't many food options open late in the area still serving food. Parking was easy as it is located in a strip mall. The inside of the restaurant is either very new and not decorated or it is just bare bones decorated with no general theme. I had my doubts upon entering the restaurant as it seemed understaffed and crowded. We waited maybe 5-10 minutes for a table for 6 that had to be cleaned prior to being seated. Upon being seating we had 3 different servers ask for our drink order, this was a bit disorganized and frustrating. We had a different server bring drinks, a different server take our order, and a different server who brought out our meals. Once seated we were given a never ending flow of fresh warm chips and salsa. They were warm and fresh out of the fryer and the salsa has a wonderful flavor to it. All of our entrees were huge portions and we were able to bring home leftovers. I opted for the quesadilla rellenos with chicken which was delicious and two quesadillas. I was given rice I assume as a default side which was okay and very well flavored. The fajitas were fantastic and a perfect sized portion to split between two. The burrito was good just had to be customized. The larger burrito came drowned in a delicious queso that it was barely half eaten and had to be taken home. The food was fantastic even though the restaurant was a bit confusing.

We love to visit Williamsburg for a quick get away. We decided to visit La Terraza b/c we had never eaten there before and when I say this will not be the last time! The food was absolutely delicious! Our compliments to the chef! And the customer service was great!

The food was great. It as the slowest service I have ever encountered. There was plenty of staff and only four or five tables.

This restaurant is a throwback to the 1989s complete with the decor, the music and the food. And…read morethat's not a bad thing. It has an extensive menu. I started with oysters on half shell. I was given 7 instead of 6. A nice bonus. I had the Caesar salad as a starter. It was top notch. For my main, I had a seafood pasta. It was absolutely delicious. A generous portion with a very tasty garlic sauce. I cleaned my plate. Normally I skip dessert but I was presented with a dessert tray with ALL of my favorites. I could come here just for the desserts. I chose the hot Apple casserole with ice cream. It was a real treat but way too much for me. The next time I need to try the key lime pie, chocolate lava cake or the magnificent caramel pie. Sadly, this restaurant is closing in August after 45-years due yo the loss of their lease which was sold to yet another planned convenience store. This was my first visit but not my last before they close. Plenty of parking. Excellent friendly and efficient service from start to finish.

However, I did notice that the place was not clean and looked dirty. There were spider webs on the ledge over our booth. I know they're trying to go for the rustic look, but the place still should be clean. I had the shrimp tempura dinner with fries and coleslaw. They only gave 7 shrimp, a little bit of fries and the coleslaw was nasty. For as much as you pay you would think they would give you more food; and for the lack of attention to cleaniness, you would think the food would be better. I definitely will not be going back here. P.S. Our waiter was nice.

Berry Burrata 3/5 - Not my favorite, but still decent. Asian Chicken Wraps 3/5 - This was okay, just a little too saucy for me. Fried Green Tomatoes 5/5 - One of our favorites. The pimiento cheese paired perfectly with it. Carolina Burger 4/5 - Huge portion, and my son really enjoyed it. 2nd St Burger 4/5 - Another big portion and overall really good. Kids Pizza & Tenderloins 3/5 - Decent for the kids, though the pizza bread was a bit dense. DRINKS Margarita 4/5 Prickly Pear 4/5 Robin really made our experience even better. She checked on us frequently and made sure everything came out right. The portions here are on the larger side, so I'd recommend ordering family-style if you're dining with a group. Overall, the food was great, and the service made the experience even better.

Two of us wanted lighter food tonight, so we had grilled salmon in a house salad and the shrimp and brie appetizer. Our third diner had the red fish with shrimp, over some grits. Everything was enjoyable.

I placed an order for twelve york river oysters, a Bloody Mary, and the fried green tomatoes. The bar was small and intimate with two televisions, both on football games, and other customers who were friendly and social. My drink arrived first, and while very flavorful, for $13, I found it to be on the small side. I've gotten a larger Bloody Mary's of equal quality at other restaurants for less money. I think you should work on either the price point or the portion size here. The oysters arrived properly iced with lemon wedges and generous portions of cocktail sauce, horseradish, and terrific garlic butter. They were perfect. Shortly after, the fried green tomatoes arrived. Such a disappointment. The presentation was excellent, the diced red tomatoes a nice color accent, but the green tomato slices were wafer thin and were overpowered by the pimento cheese, totally wrecking the flavor profile of the dish.....the portion sizes should have been reversed. They were the absolute thinnest slices of tomato I have ever encountered on a serving of F.G.T. The dollar special on the oysters is enough to get me back in, but I will reexamine my menu and drink choices on my next visit.
