This is not my first or even 10th visit to this eatery but my first review of it. We ate at lunch time when there are many specials $10 and less. I always go for the Speedy Gonzales when I can. It is the same in every Anglo Mexican restaurant in the Continental US I imagine. Today my cheese enchilada and beans were a bit overheated. Maybe just 30 seconds less on the microwave next time. Everyone's food came out, well, speedy! My iced tea was nicely brewed but a bit light. I do not think I asked for a refill and none was offered. The environs are typical of this type of restaurant as well. Stucco walls, heavy wood furnishings, a few south of the border themed wall murals. Overall clean and comfortable. I really cannot differentiate this establishment over local offerings Plaza Azteca, El Mariachi or even Salsa's. Extensive menu of typical Americanized "Mexican" favorites - fajitas, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, rice and beans in a gazillion combinations. Priced reasonably, serving staff is generally Spanish speaking/bilingual, with consistently good service. There is a bar for that crowd as well. Great parking and access. Really the only reason for 4 stars is my overmicrowaved food this time. Next time it will probably be just right. read more

I ordered the birria tacos w/ the cheesecake chimichanga & a sherley temple drink. The tacos were cheesy, but it lacked flavor. The bottom was also soggy. The drink was alright, but the dessert was my favorite. It was basically fried dough wrapped in a burrito w/ cheesecake filling inside. read more

I went here with a friend 3/19/24. We arrived at 4pm and were the only table in the restaurant at the time. It wasn't loud inside during our whole visit, which was nice. They brought chips and salsa to our table immediately after being seated. I ordered the birria ramen and my friend ordered the arroz con pollo. Both dishes were good, exactly what you'd expect from a Mexican restaurant in this area. For dessert we got flan and the churro doughnut. The desserts were very good and just the right amount, not overly filling. I'd return to try more of the menu items and some of their drinks. read more

Food is always consistent, and very good. I'm not a die-hard Mexican afficionado but enjoy some of the flavors most of the time. Burritos is one of my favorites and I always enjoy the 'salad', rice, and their wonderful salsa blanca on my entrees. There's not much you can do wrong here as the flavors meld well with just about any choices. The menu is extensive so it's easy to pair up just about anything you choose to throw together. The food was fine. I got the enchiladas blancas and it was exactly as I expected and yummy. But they have a large menu with some fancier dishes that include seafood and fresh fruit. I would stay away from those dishes because the mangoes and pineapple were all canned even though they were in season! Disappointing to get canned fruit on a pricier dish. Salad was also just shredded lettuce and not worth the price. The service was very slow there were 3 of us and we were there for 1.5 hrs waiting most of the time. I ate here a few months ago with some friends and thoroughly enjoyed it. I dropped off the bride for her function and because Amigos was close by I stopped in. It was a Friday and they were getting busy, but I was able to snag a booth just fine. The food at dinner was terrific. The service was decent and I could have had another refill of my drink. They make the guacamole fresh on this cart. They literally open avocados and add cilantro and onions and other things and it's as fresh as it gets. They give complimentary chips and salsa. The restaurant had a good ambiance, the seats were a bit dirty though. There was no wait for a table on a Wednesday evening. There isn't a lot of parking but shouldn't be a problem unless it's extremely busy. read more

We were finally able to visit here after several friends had recommended it and it did not disappoint. We came to celebrate a special occasion and had a party of 6, they seated us right away and we ordered some fresh guacamole and some queso, the guacamole was out of this world! Super fresh and flavorful. The queso also had good flavor. Everyone at the table ordered something different. My children ordered the California Fries. One chose steak and one chose chicken as the topper and both devoured their meal. The steak was cooked very well and had some great seasoning. My mother ordered the Fajitas Texanas, she said it was fabulous as well. My husband and my father both ordered the burrito Mexicano, my husband said the flavor was excellent and the portion was huge! I ordered the fire queso chimichanga. This dish lived up to its name. The fire queso was out of this world, it had the perfect amount of heat and flavor without being too hot. What a disappointment. We saw that the reviews for The Three Amigos were hit and miss but we still wanted to give this new area restaurant a try. The first thing I should note is that it's very very loud; more like a bar than a restaurant. Some of the guests were pretty rowdy and the restaurant was playing music quite loud which only added to the din. My wife got the steak and onions and I got the seafood chimichanga. It took at least 20 minutes to get our food. While we waited, we munched on chips that were more like Food Lion store bought than restaurant made. Their salsa was some of the most bland I've ever had. When our food finally came out it was clear my dish had been ready for a while. The refried beans in particular had that look like they had been sitting under a warmer while they cooked my wife's steak. Ironically nothing on my plate was hot. The chimichanga was somewhat flavorful but needed more sauce. For me, the low point was actually the lettuce which tasted old. Frankly it made me a little nervous to eat it. I want to be fair and say that my wife liked her steak and onions which she said was hot. My guess is that hers was made last. They do have an amazing selection and the prices are actually not bad, but the quality of the food I received will guarantee that I won't be returning to Three Amigos. read more

The hostess is welcoming and accommodating, the servers are helpful, friendly and genuine and the food.... yummmmmm... only topped by the margaritas that WILL sneak up on you. They have outside seating that is fantastic, where you can enjoy the warm weather under an umbrella. They will take care of you if you're KETO, no fat, or any other diet. Loved this place until they explained that my Margarita cannot be taken home unless I ORDER IT TO BE PICKED UP. I didnt take a sip.... its untouched but cannot take it home because I didnt order to be picked up. So, I'm forced to send it back for some reason, or I leave it on the table... no tip. :( read more

My first time here...the Elote was new and very good. We tried the Garlic Lemon Shrimp and Crab Fries. It was good just needed a bit more sauce. The mixed drinks were ok. It's been a while since I've had Mexican food. Upon entering, we were promptly greeted & seated. We had time to order our drinks (massive!) and given free chips and salsa. We asked for a while sauce to accompany that and it was delicious (definitely ask for it!). I ended up getting a frozen mango / raspberry Margarita which tasted really good. Perfect amount of ice and flavour for me in a huge cup rimmed with salt. I also ordered the burrito California. Note to all, order this only if you are hungry! It arrived and was about the size of my forearm, stuffed with steak, chicken, shrimp, avocado, rice... Topped with a cheese and chili sauce that wasn't spicy. Overall, very filling and I could only eat half after I had already stuffed my face full of the free nachos. The servers were nice and always around and available but not overly intrusive. We are always going to Plaza Azteca but took a chance and went here. Mistake. The food took a while to come out and the staff was not very nice. They weren't rude just not very welcoming. My husband got chicken fried rice and didn't like it. I got steak fajitas and was not impressed. We didn't even get a box to go. We won't be returning. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet it took ten minutes to get a drink and about a half hour to get our food. We kept our order simple: enchiladas, rice and beans. Our server pretty much neglected us from the beginning and we had to flag down another server just to order our food. We had to hunt her down just to get a drink refill, for which we waited so long that my husband finally went to the machine and got it himself. The food was MEH, but coupled with bad service it was almost miserable to eat. I give two stars for the "ambiance", as we were greeted by a charming aquarium of tropical fish in the entrance. Today's order had 2 chalupas and a chille Reno that I was really looking forward too. Turns out, their idea of a chalupa is basically a burnt tostada and the chille Reno was a tostada shell with cheese and nothing else. Like many people on Cinco de Mayo, I ended up waiting for an hour and a half for my food. I wasn't so upset that I had to , because everyone else was waiting as well. The restaurant was clearly understaffed and overwhelmed!! My issue was, I called my order in at approximately 12:30pm for a 5pm pickup. Knowing they would most likely be busy with orders, I called back at 4:30pm to remind them to start my order and I would be there at 5pm to pick it up. I arrived shortly before 5pm. I didn't receive my order until 6:30pm. Luckily I live less than 5 minutes away. But our was DELICIOUS as usual. We ordered the Family Taco meal. Fantastic! We walked into this place at around 3:00 pm on a Saturday just to have a couple drinks. There was no one to greet us st the door, so we walked to the bar and sat down.
