    Enchiladas Suizas Dinner

I wish I could give this place 3.5 stars versus 4 stars. I went there the other day because I heard that they stepped up game. I have the feeling the restaurant was having an off day. When my guest and I sat down it took a awhile for the server to come over and bring us chips. We waited 10 minutes after we got sorted before anyone came over to us. The chips that were served to us tasted stale instead of the fresh chip taste. I had ordered the enchiladas suzias and it was really good. I don't know when I will be back and I'm willing to give them another chance.

Okay, plaza has really stepped up their game! Their prices now reflect their quality. My husband and I had a late lunch here and were both shocked at how great everything was. Food was hot and fresh, tasted great. Drinks were perfect. Staff were attentive and helpful. We can't wait to come back!

We usually drive to the one in Hampton but out of laziness just stopped here on the way home. The waiter was wonderful, got us everything quickly and nothing was needed be be asked for. But that's where the good part ends. The food sucked. We ordered the fajitas for two. It comes out on this little tray sizzling and you can make your own burritos. The meat, the onions and the peppers were burns. Like black sides and tasted like the bottom of the oven. The salsa they had was seasoned tomato sauce. I mean it tasted/felt like someone had opened a can of Hunts tomato sauce (or ketchup) added some sofrito and adobo and left it alone. I will usually drowns my food in salsa and leave with a smile. I dipped my chip in it a couple times and then left it alone. Maybe it was a bad night, but after last evening, driving to Hampton is worth the extra 20min

    Fajita Fajitas Veracruz Dinner

This is my go to place for Mexican in the York County area. The food is absolutely delicious and margaritas too. We usually split the Fajitas as the portion sizes is enough for two and some leftover. I will say that this place is more on the expensive side. For the Fajitas it was $21 and whatever Margarita they brought me was $16 (it was a jumbo) but for the occasional date night its ok. Last tip, the parking lot is smaller so arrive early and not during prime dinner rush.

Apparently this is queso fundido? More like grease

Food was lukewarm. Chips were stale. Crema salad was wilted and tasted sour. I'm writing this place off my list!!!

I love this location and their food. The service is always great and quick! Our meals usually come out no later than 10 mins after ordering.

I like this location! Need more options for take out orders. The prices have increased by a lot... no complaints other than that.

Let's see how this recent visit went. We were immediately greeted by the staff and seated promptly. It wasn't packed but presented a cool vibe nonetheless. After a few minutes looking over the menu, we were both ready to order. My selection for lunch was quesabirria with consome as a dipper. When it arrived, it was actually birria tacos. I did ask the server about it, but he said it's quesabirria. Kind of confusing, but I'm sure it's tacos. Nonetheless, the meal had me full. The birria was well cooked and seasoned with other ingredients. A little messy, but it was all fine. And the consome was so good I actually sipped the rest after I was done. Even with the selection situation, I was satisfied with the meal for the afternoon. They will continue to be one local spot worth repeating. Till next time :)

The staff are attentive. And the set up is pretty similar to most Mexican spot. Very clean.

We ordered two carne asada burritos and a lingua taco, which came with French fries. Of course, chips and salsa were included, and they gave us a bowl of queso dip. The lingua taco was good, but in my opinion, it could have been softer. However, if you like a bit of texture, then it's perfect for you. The carne asada burrito had a good flavor, but the meat was tough, and we found several fat gristles. Also, I wouldn't say I liked the sour cream drizzled over the burrito. The French fries were pale and bland; some seasoning would have made them better. The chips and salsa were good, but the significant cilantro cuts in the salsa were a bit too much. The service was excellent! Our server was very friendly and attentive. He even brought out another basket of chips and salsa. The dining area has an open floor set up to accommodate a small group. The decor is stylish and has an ocean vibe, as they serve various seafood dishes. My overall experience was good, but I was slightly disappointed by the quality of the carne asada burritos. I would rate the food 3.5 out of 5 stars and intend to try other items on the menu. However, the excellent service I received bumped up my overall rating to a 4.

Had a good taco here. Atmosphere is very nice, typical local Mexican restaurant. We will be back.read more
